Mint felt all eyes rest on her after she'd said,"who killed her?" Violet and the male NightWing were glaring at her. The dull SeaWing next to Auklet suddenly saw the male SkyWing and looked away embarrassed, Mint noticed this and smirked as did Auklet. Mint and the IceWing that came with her, were the only ones in this entire gathering, before Auklet had told, had known Darkmatter had died. The IceWing and NightWing Queen often met up to discuss things. Their own queen, Queen Stalactite, was getting older as well. Stalactite had no sons only daughters, she could even be being challenged now. Mint shook the thought from her head tried her best not blurt out something else. Mint eagerly and dreadfully awaited the next news. Auklet lifted her head. "News from the SandWings, they have noticed a strange dragon of SandWing heritage, they know this dragon and he doesn't like intruders." The SandWing representatives nodded their heads. Auklet returned to the scroll she had open and Mint noticed her tail flicking. "Well, Well, this is definitely a surprise..." She shook her head. "That's besides the point... or is it?" Auklet looked at the scroll again. "Three Moons!" Auklet cursed. Mint noticed that the dull SeaWing next to Auklet had stopped looking at the SkyWing and had a worried look on her face, that's when she saw it. Same snout, both green, both had the special pattern, the royalty SeaWing pattern... they were mother and daughter! Mint wished she was a normal IceWing.. she wasn't. Mint noticed Auklet shift uneasily as she read the scroll. "Apparently..." Mint almost blurted out something. Auklet looked down. "T-The S-SkyWing n-news... it's the worst of them a-all..." Auklet looked faint. "The SkyWings.. h-have a killer on the l-loose!"

See what I meant by 'last long chapter for awhile'? I just don't feel motivated to do long chapters.....
