Tsunami rolled up the letter. It had been sent by Riptide, asking how she was. He was coming soon.A commotion was going on outside her cave. She leaped to her feet, her heart doing the same thing. He was here. He was close. She ran outside and nearly collided with Riptide. Squid brain. She flashed in aquatic. Riptide gave her a whack in the side with his wings. "Are you free?" he asked, as soon as they were inside her personal cave. Of course I'm free. She replied. I'm always free now that we aren't trapped underground and with no mother queen wanting a harness on me. And definitely free with you here. She thought, but did not add, for she was pretty sure someone was listening outside. Maybe she should say hi to whoever it was then thump the dragon with her tail to punish it for listening to a secret conversation that Riptide and the "long lost princess of the SeaWings". but she wanted every moment of this day with Riptide."I don't mean that." Riptide protested. "But a very, how do you say it, full of wisdom? That kind of thing.""Oh gosh no." Tsunami said, grabbing a scroll and flinging it at him. He shielded himself with his wing. "I do not want to sound like Starflight. How Dare you." but she couldn't help grinning like Glory's stupid sloth."Are you free today?" Riptide asked, trying not to laugh."Of course I'm free today I've already told you." Tsunami liked annoying Riptide. "I'm free now and forever.""Oh, you sappy SeaWing." Riptide said, with a mocking shake of his head. "I mean," Tsunami said. Argh. She was becoming Sunny now. All mushy and she didn't know what else. I mean, what do I have to be embarrassed about? Glory has a boyfriend, one that tried to kill her, Clay has a girlfriend, one that had killed countless, and Starflight has Fatespeaker and Sunny. They can laugh all they want. "I'm free now that I'm with you.""Now you are becoming sappy." Riptide remarked, but still wrapped one wing around Tsunami. "And I'm feeling the same Squid Brain.""Hey! That's my nickname for you." Tsunami protested. "Want to go catch some fish?""Sure." Riptide said. "But I can't be sure all of them will be for eating." he shot a grin at her. "Like tossing them at your face." "You can just TRY." Tsunami said, grinning. They strode out of the cave together, and the dragon listening outside quickly darted away, so all Tsunami saw was a blur of blue wings. Either a SeaWing, a RainWing, or a weird IceWing. she thought. It was too dark to be her sister, to blue to be her brother, one brother out of thirty two, if what Turtle saw was correct, also too dark to be Pike, or Barracuda, and Snail was too dark to be this dragon. So it had to be either an IceWing, or a RainWing, but Tsunami ruled out IceWings. Strange. She thought, but didn't dwell on that. She lightly hit Riptide's tail with her's and he jumped, making her laugh. They took off into the blue sky, with Riptide almost fading into the sky.
