This one is a little longer than usual because Ripnami is by far my favorite ship. This takes place in a world where the third arc stuff never happened. Enjoy!

Tsunami flung out her wings, exasperated. "No, Macaw, eating too many mangos won't turn you bright orange for the rest of your life! Garnet was just kidding! ARGH!" She turned and hurried away to her private sleeping cave, rolling shut the entrance boulder. She curled up behind her stone desk and groaned. Dragonets could be so frustrating. 

After a few moments of just sitting there trying not to go crazy, she finally decided to write a long overdo message to Riptide.

Hey, Squid Brain,

 The dragonets are driving me absolutely insane. Seriously, what kind of dragon believes that they will turn orange if they eat too many mangoes?

How's life frolicking with my favorite dragons in the world whom you also happen to be leading? Are you having fun? 

Anyway, I was wondering if you wanted to come for a visit? I am bored out of my skull trying to keep these dragonets from accidentally killing each other! Also, I need to practice my Aquatic.

Princess Tsunami of the SeaWings, and Obviously the Greatest Headmistress to Ever Walk the Earth

She neatly rolled up the scroll and reluctantly exited her sleeping cave. Tsunami found a SkyWing dragonet. "Take this to the Talons of Peace camp. Tell them it's for their leader." She ordered him. The dragonet took the scroll and left in the direction of the entrance to the academy.

The next day, there was a sharp knock on her door. Tsunami got up from her place behind her desk, where she had been assigning homework, and went to push aside the boulder blocking the entrance. When she opened it, Riptide stood in the entrance. 

"WHAT THE ACTUAL HECK ARE YOU DOING HERE, YOU MASSIVE BLOWFISH HEAD? I WASN'T EXPECTING YOU FOR ANOTHER TWO DAYS!" Tsunami nearly yelled. Riptide laughed and took a step back. "Thanks, I missed you too, princess." He said, brushing his wing with hers and gently entwining their tails.

She sighed and returned the gesture. "So, how's building Sanctuary going?" She said, sitting down on her seaweed bed. "It's almost finished. Some dragons have already moved in. Winter is having trouble getting scavengers to stay in the area we designed for them, and they usually run away squeaking their heads off." Riptide said, settling himself beside her.

Tsunami laughed. "They are weird little creatures, aren't they?" Riptide smile faded to a solemn expression. He turned to face her. "I have something to tell you." He said. "What is it?" Tsunami asked, her heart pounding. Riptide took a deep breath. "I love you."

Tsunami gaped at him for a moment, before regaining her composure.

"I love you too, Squid Brain."
