Jade Mountain was bigger as Sloth thought. It was so big, that the top of the Mountain lie in the clouds. The trees and grasses don't climbed the whole mountain.

There were not many dragons outside. To be exactly only three. A big Mudwing and two Nightwings. One of them had a big bandage around his eyes.

That must be Starflight! And then the Mudwing is Clay! And that female Nightwing... that must be Fatespeaker! If I remember right the both have dragonets too...but I never saw them...

"Hey! Come on Sloth we are going to speak with the dragonets of destiny!", Dawn remembered her.

"You mean the dragons of destiny. They are to big to be dragonets", Sloth Said. "Yeeeeeees.."

"Hey Tsunami! Are that the dragonets from the Rain- and Nightwings? I thought there would come more!", Clay shouted. Sunny started gigling.

"Of course! Do you forgott that the rest will come later?", she answered. "Ow." Even Sloth started smiling.

"WELCOME AT JADE MOUNTAIN!", Fatespeaker shouted loud. "Oh! Yes. Right!", Tsunami remembered.

"The other dragonets from other tribes will come later. This year we have so mutch dragonets that they are comming to different times. In a few hours the Icewings should come and the Seawings will arrive this evening too!", she explained.

Yeeeeees! We are the first and a few hours alone in that big and creepy mountain. I'm so exited! "Fatespeaker will give you some of these scrolls", Sunny complained. I was right. It is Fatespeaker!

Every dragonet ran to the little dragon asking for some of those....maps. "Come on Sloth! We have to get one of them too!", Dawn shouted. "Oh yes right."

The three dragonets flied down by there own. The crowd wasn't that big but every dragonet wanted to talk at first with the female Nightwing so it took five minutes before Sloth was in front of her.

"Ow. Hello. My name is Fatespeaker. I'm no teacher at Jade Mountain. I'm only helping Starflight because he is...you know. How ever you are....Ähm let me see...." Fatespeaker searched at a big scroll.

"Sloth. I'm Sloth", Sloth answerd quiet. "Right. Here is your map for the academy and here a scroll with any winglet at the school", she explained. "Thank you." She wanted to fly away but the Nightwing hold her back.

"At the sleep corner. The 7th cave at the right. There you can wait for your clawmates", Fatespeaker said.

Clawmates? What is that? My
new...friends? But now the next dragonet talked with her.

"Hey. In which winglet are you in?", asked somebody suddenly. It was Dawn. "I-I don't know. Wait a minute." Sloth searched at one of the scrolls for her name but she couldn't find him.

"I-I don't know I can't find me!", she shouted. "Look at the secound one." Sloth didn't released that there were three scrolls.

"Right! I'm at the Sapphire winglet but...." She felt sad for a moment. "There is a different Nightwing." Dawn looked tired too. Madhead tried to eat a little fly.

"My winglet is the diamont winglet and the jade winglet my brothers", Dawn explained. "I have a Rainwing named Galaxy. That sounds like a Nightwing!" Sloth glanced at her. "That's my best friend! You are right she is a hybrid",she answerd.

Dawn will love her! I Hope I have dragons like that in my winglet too...

"Let us go to our sleep caves. See you later Sloth!", Dawn shouted. "Yes! We will see us at dinner!", she answerd. Her new friend and her brother turned around.

Why hurry they up so mutch? I don't want to see my winglet soon! Sloth looked at the scrolls in her talons. One of them was realy a map the other one looked like her timetable and then there were the two other ones with the winglets. Sloth searched for her winglet again and started to read:

Sapphire winglet

Icewing: BlackIce
Mudwing: Amber
Nightwing: Shadowclaw
Rainwing: Sloth
Sandwing: Hunter
Seawing: River
Skywing: Thunder

Thunder and Hunter... That doesn't  sounds  friendly. And I have probaly the Rainwing prince in my winglet...But BlackIce sounds as if she is a hybrid too!

Sloth nodded slowly. Yes maybe the dragonets would be nice. She went into the mountain looking at the plan after the sleep corner.

A few minutes later she stood for a big and Long corner where she could hear the other dragonets speaking.

What Fatespeaker said? 7th cave at the left or the right? I'm not sure. But the right side sounds better.

Without thinking anymore she went into the sleep cave. It was big and full of light from seven torches. Everyone had a other colour as if they should demonstraite every tribe. There were four different, little caves. One of them was high abouth Sloth head and with thome sheep wool inside.

I don't want to sleep there. Maybe I fall out at night! The cave nearest the ground was full of cow pelt and another one with the pelt of a polar bear. There were two with some plants inside too.

I guess one of theme is mine. But which one? Sloth decited to wait a little bit more. In the middle of the cave was a desk and some pelts. In the near stood a regal with scrolls.

Do they now that I love reading or is that for the other dragonets? She walked forward and grabbed one of theme.

A guide to be a hybrid

That's right! Maybe I'm an Hybrid too! Sloth opened the scroll and started reading.

Being a hybrid isn't easy everytime. Maybe you think your Friends are stronger and faster than you but it isn't like that. You are good at other things! Never finish liking your selfe! You don't look weired just a little different...

Who is the writer? He sounds like Sunny! And by the way IT'S NEVER EASY TO BE DIFFERENT!

Sloth brought the scroll back at her place. After reading into three other scrolls she decited to go outside.

Maybe I'm going to explore the academy. In that moment a voice shouted.

"SUNNY! Where is Sunny? The- the Icewings! They arrived and- and they are fighting with each other!"
