Moon's note

the new student is really pretty! I hope she's nice too.

                      Spring Flowers: New Student part 2                    

          "Let's go sit with Spring!" Kinkajou was excited about seeing her friend. Qibli grinned." Looks like she's over there," he said. Moon rolled her eyes at them. She was excited too, but she sure wasn't jumping around like Kinkajou and Qibli. Kinkajou ran over to Spring. "Hey, how was your first day! Oh, also Art and Music are the best subjects! Wait, did you already do art already??" 

             Qibli, Moon, and Winter all rolled their eyes at Kinkajou never ending speech. Kinkajou really was a verbal freight train. Spring laughed."Gee, Kinkajou, are you ever let me say something?" Spring teased. She was reading a book with letters Moon could see were not English. "You speak German?" Moon blurted out. Spring gave her a surprised look. " You can read that?"

    Soon, Moon and Spring were talking a streak about other languages. It turned out that Spring spoke 17 different languages fluently. Spring's dad had died in a fire before she was born, and her mom didn't want to be reminded of him so she moved from place to place over and over again. It had been hard on Spring.

"What sports are you going to do?" Kinkajou asked, helping herself to her peanut butter sandwich. "What sports are there?" Spring carefully unwrapped her tin foil and took out 2 slices of toast with butter. " Cheer leading, The Flag Team, Track, The Swim Team, Soccer, and Hockey." Kinkajou lists out the options as a boy with blue-green hair heads over to the table. "Hi guys," He mumbles, flopping down next to Kinkajou. (THIS IS TURTLE!!)

          "Hi Turtle," Kinkajou smiles at him.  "Poor Turtle, his mom hates him. At least my mom doesn't hate me," Moon thought. Turtle's relationship with his mom was very rocky. His mom looked out only for her daughters, Tsunami, Auklet, and Anemone. Anemone was a spoiled brat and a miniature titan in a tank top, ripped jeans, hoop earrings, high heels, and lip gloss. Her white-blond hair was dyed light pink and light blue. Tsunami was totally different from that brat who was her sister. Tsunami's hair was sky blue and slightly messy. Most of the time, she wore blue hoodies, black jeans, and blue sneakers. Tsunami never would be caught alive wearing makeup. Auklet was the tiniest of the 3 sisters and by far the most innocent. She had  sea green hair, wore bright blue dresses and flip flops with her hair tied in ponytails, was only 9, and her life was already full with drama from braces, studying, and talents. Turtle's 2 favorite sisters were Tsunami and Auklet. Turtle thought Anemone was horrible. Turtle suddenly paled and grabbed Kinkajou's wrist. " Oh nooooo," He moaned. "She's here!!"

And sure enough, Anemone was walking toward them. Turtle buried his face in his hands. Moon felt bad for him. " I came here just to get away from her," he moaned. While Moon and her friends were in their sophomore year at school, Anemone had just started her freshman year. AT THE SAME SCHOOL AS THEM. Anemone walked over to them. " Move over people! Let ME talk to the new girl! I'm, like, soo much more interesting then you losers!" 

     Kinkajou turned and glared at Anemone. Spring looked offended on the behalf of her new friends. Winter and Qibli looked like they were about to tackle Anemone and rip out her hair. Turtle looked more puddle-like then he had before. "Oh no, there is most certainly going to be a verbal fight at the least. I hope no one gets hurt," Moon thought anxiously. That would be horrible if  they did.  "What do you want, Anemone," Winter growled, glaring at her. Qibli was grumbling under his breath about bullies. Moon took his hand, hoping that he wouldn't do anything rash. Knowing Qibli, he might think it out or he might not. Anemone rolled her eyes. "Look at you! you used to be soo cool! Of course, that was before you started hanging out with her," she said. ( I'm sorry, but Anemone is in her I'm losing my soul phase!) 

     Winter looks ready to tackle her, and Qibli's face is red. But it's Spring who makes the first move. " Anemone, STOP."

           Anemone whips around. "Stop?" Her voice is questioning. Spring is looking Anemone straight in the eye. "Yes, stop being mean." Her voice is soft and quiet but calm and firm. Turtle is grinning. Actually, so are Winter and Qibli. And Kinkajou. Moon could also could feel herself smiling. Anemone stares at her for a moment. "Ok," she whispers. Anemone walks away. Winter grins at Spring. " Your amazing," he says, his voice holding awe. Qibli leans closer to Moon. "Sorry about that," he says. "No problem," Moon says. Moon knew that the she Anemone mentioned was her. Kinkajou grins at Spring. "You're amazing," the rainbow Ed haired girl says. Spring gives her a wry smile." I think so to."

        They all laugh. Spring was know part of their tiny group.
