Turtle is Peril's go-to for romantic advice. He's clueless 99% of the time, but she either doesn't know or doesn't care.

One time he suggests she bring him flowers. She accepts the challenge readily. Four days, three forest fires and a strong set of tongs later, Peril timidly hands Clay a bouquet of slightly frazzled dandelions. He loves them and thanks her enthusiastically and they're both too flustered to look each other in the face for the rest of the day.

One week later, Peril discovers a clump of dandelions arranged at the entrance of her sleeping cave.

Turtle decides not to point out to either of them that dandelions aren't flowers.
