Female is the dominant gender in Pyrrhia. This is canon already - hence why queens rule, the default pronoun is "her" and expecting mothers assume their unhatched dragonets will be female.

In most of the tribes, female dragons are larger and more powerful than males. They are strong, built to fight and protect their nests. Males are leaner, and designed for hunting. They also tend to have brighter scales in order to impress mates.
