Lemur screamed. She ducked out of the way just before the tree might have hit her. All the eggs, not yet hatched, and the dragons being crushed and drowned by the giant tree falling in them, and the little dragonets living higher, though not yet able to fly. All of them were going to die. And there was nothing anyone could do about it.

It splashed into the water, sending a huge wave in all directions. Then there was  silence. No draGon made a sound for a long time. Lemur thought she heard her heartbeat, beating hard and fas t. The quiet was unsettling.

"My egg! Oh my poor perfectly perfect egg!" A sob broke though the silence .

Dragons erupted in panic. They flew every which way, bumping into each other and crying and screaming and panicking. What other destruction could this flood cause? What else would this peaceful tribe, the rainwings, need to make them realize that had things could happen. When Lemur caught that stray thought, she blinked in surprise. This wasn't their fault. This wasn't anyone's fault. But it was bad.

a rainwing, her scales blue, red, and orange, slammed into her. "Did you get my egg? Did anyone get my egg?" The Dragon asked, before slipping away without an answer . This was chaos. Pure chaos.

 "Sea? Sea where are you?" Lemur yelled.

Glare flapped to her side, her eyes wide. "Lemur? What about all those eggs?" She asked.

 Lemur shook her head, and said, "I don't know. I'm guessing they're all gone. "

A Dragon slammed into her, knocking Lemur off balance. She slapped her wings into the nightwing to push them off. What if seaweed was being crushed under the tree? Or what if he was trapped? Was sea ever coming back? There was no telling. But wasn't he an animus? Couldn't be just enchant the tree to just move back to where it was supposed to be? Or was he... Gone?

 "If sea is an animus dragon," Lemur asked glare, " then couldn't he just enchant the tree? "

 "Good point. I vote on going down there and getting him! Ok let's go!" And with that , glare dived into the water.

 "Heh glare, wait!" Lemur called, but glare was already in th water . She had to follow! She tucked her wings in, and fell into the water.
