I have so many favourite characters! Sunny, Clay, Peril, Moonwatcher, Starflight...I like every character except for Scarlet, Kestrel (despite having a cool name) Burn, Blister, Icicle, and Morrowseer. Woops, that's actually quite a few characters! Oh well.

I have not one favourite character, but rather two, one a Dragonet of Destiny and the other not, because I just can't decide who I love more!

Sunny, I think, is the kindest character in the series. She is loyal, peaceful, positive, really cares about her friends,and supports the non-aggressive RainWing contests for new queens-all traits I adore about her. Plus, it's cool that Sunny's mother became the Queen, and she is a SandWing-NightWing hybrid. I'd be definitely be friends with her-Sunny is for the win!

And then there's Peril, a very different character. I actually hated her at the start, but now my view on her has changed-a lot! She has forced by Scarlet to kill other dragons, and basically had no life in the SkyWing palace. Poor Peril! I imagine she must feel bad about burning everyone except Clay she comes into contact with. Beneath her dangerous, gloomy side, Peril is an interesting, sympathetic, lonely character who really cares about Clay. I loved it when she saved Clay's life at the end of the fifth book. Clay and Peril is the cutest, awesomest Wings of Fire pairing! An orange-brown dragonet is briefly mentioned in Darkstalker's vision in Moon Rising, which is very likely to be her future child! That would just be so awesome if Clay and Peril had a child later in the series!
