Winter woke up to his loud alarm, he jumped out of bed, and got dressed, in a nice pair of jeans, a white shirt with a blue outline of a igloo, Ripple had gotten it for him as a joke after he told her for the tenth time that they didn't live in igloos, but he actually liked the shirt. He brushed his hair and teeth, got his bag he had packed the night before and then realized he also needed to pack Meadow's things. Meadow of course was still asleep, somehow Meadow was able to always sleep through it, which made Winter confused, somehow she heard Ripple saying food at the other side of the house, but never got woken up by the alarm. "Lazy." He muttered as he got out a smaller bag and packed her blanket food dishes, but when he tried but in her dragon toy, she jumped up growling.

"It's just me I need to pack it." He said and Meadow gave him her "Act it out I'm not fluent yet." Face. He then pointed to her toy then to his bag.

"YES!" She said scooting the toy to him, Winter then packed it and her bed, he then grabbed her and his bag and went to the main room where Ripple was putting leftover bacon from the breakfast she made into Meadow's doggie bag.

"Oh hey guys I was about to call you." Ripple said sitting down and gesturing for them to do the same.

"So will you be ready to leave right after breakfast?" Riptide asked and Winter nodded. They ate the rest of breakfast with no talking, which was normal when Ripple made something good. After breakfast they headed for Riptide's truck. It was pretty big it had two front seats and a bench seat behind that, and the back could fit two couches(they had stored two couches in the back before(long story)), but right now all that was back there was Winter's motorcycle. Before they got in Ripple came out.

"Bye, and Winter make sure to tell us if Riptide kisses his girlfriend!" Giggled Ripple as he and Riptide got in the car and drove away. It was a long drive, and the first unexpected thing that happened were the deers.

"AHHHHHHHH!!!" Winter and Riptide screamed as Riptide turned them into the forest to avoid the deers, which led to some back seat driving from Meadow, he didn't even know she knew the words for right and left.

"RIGHT!" Meadow yelled as Riptide almost ran into a tree, again.

"LEFT!" She yelled when they almost crashed into a deer, somehow they got on the road again, how Winter had no idea, that was the good news, the bad news was that they were of course, a couple miles back and almost out of gas so leading them to their next detour. Luckily there was a gas station a mile away, so they pulled up and Riptide started pumping gas, it didn't take long for the tank to get full. Luckily. Winter thought.

"Hey want to come in with me I'm getting some snacks." Riptide asked, Winter was hungry, even if it wasn't that long after breakfast.

"Sure." Winter said and followed him in. The gas station store was small, there were only a few options, eventually they settled on two bags of potato chips, two boxes of donuts, and two Slim Jims, the potato chips and donuts were for him and Riptide and the Slim Jims were for Meadow, they walked up to the counter where a female SkyWing with orange hair and sky blue eyes, sat reading a magazine.When they got to the counter she looked up and smiled.

"Hi, you two are the first customers I've had all day, where you headed." She asked.

"Jade mountain." Winter said, if he mentioned the school it would definitely tell her that he was the X prince of the IceWings, he had heard some of the gossip from people passing through Sanctuary, most of it bad.

"That's nice, this will be 19.95, have a nice day." She said as she checked them out. They then walked out the door way back to the car, when they got in Winter opened the Slim Jims and gave them to Meadow, who ate them in five seconds flat. They continued on the ride in till they almost crashed into a limo, bringing them to there third adventure.

"Ahhhhhhhh!" Winter, Riptide, Meadow, and everyone he could here screamed, as the car turned sharply to avoid each other. 

Then a few seconds later Riptide yelped, "It's her!" and ducked down to hide his head.

"Who? Tsunami?" He asked.

"No worse her mother." He replied, Ah it was well known that Queen Coral of the SeaWings hated Riptide, for a number of reasons, one, his father stole Tsunami, two, he was dating Tsunami, and three, he was in the talons of peace.

"Here, stick your head in this and pretend to be puking!" Winter ordered giving him a trash bad they always kept in the middle of the front seats for trash and on one occasion someone's vomit (long story), Riptide gave him a is-this-really-going-to-work face before stuffing his face in and making vomit noises. Hopefully that would work, it was about to be put to the test because Queen Coral was walking up to the car, Auklet in tow, with Turtle and Anemone following, the SeaWing family looked kind of normal, Anemone light blue and pink hair was in a braid instead of some fancy bun, her light blue eyes held no makeup or the rest of her pale skinned face, and instead of some fancy dress, she was wearing a light blue shirt with a pink dolphin logo that slid of her shoulder revealing a blue tank top underneath, a pair of pre ripped jean shorts, and turquoise gladiator sandals, Turtle was wearing a green shirt, green sweat pants, and green sneakers, his green hair messy as usual, his tan skin was a little red on one side like he had been sleeping against something, and proofing that more his green eyes looked tired, Coral and Auklet on the other hand, Auklet looked like a tan green version of Coral, Coral was wearing a blue dress with ocean waves inlaid in the fabric, she was wearing blue flats, her blue hair was up in a fancy bun, and her eyes were decked with makeup, so was the rest of her pale face.

"Excuse me but why did your truck almost crash in to us?" Coral asked scowling.

"Sorry Queen Coral, but my friend here started throwing up." Winter said in his formal voice, gesturing to Riptide who had his whole head in the bag covering his hair and making puking noises, he opened his door and stepped out towards the SeaWing family. Then the worse possible thing happened, Meadow appeared from under the his seat that she had gone under right before the sharp turn.

"Sooo cuuute!" Auklet squeal reaching in to pet Meadow, Meadow of course encouraged it by rolling over and making her cute-pet-me face.

"Auklet No!" Coral scolded as Auklet pet Meadow, she stopped but as Coral looked away she kept doing it, soon Turtle and Anemone joined in.

"I sincerely apologize for this incident and hope nothing like this ever happens again." He said with a slight bow. 

"You two too!" Coral exclaimed seeing that Turtle and Anemone were also petting Meadow, she muttered something as all four of them walked back to their limo. The rest of the drive was uneventful intel they got right out front and collided with a bus full of kids, right before it happened he had locked eyes with a girl with braided black hair with amber edges and eyes, and tan skin, she seemed to be the only one not screaming, she looked back at him, he then saw what she was doing and quickly did the same, taking of his seat belt and bracing against the truck wall out of reach of where the airbag wouldn't reach, having Meadow brace against him and waited for the crash to come...
