Woke up early one morning. The sun was just beginning to rise. The sky was a dull gray, you could still see the stars in the coming sunlight. My husband is already gone. He like to hunt early to get the best kills. I grab me an apple and my fishing pole and head to the lake.
When I arrive I can't believe what I'm seeing! I drop my fishing pole in shock. I see a dark blackish purplish dragon drinking from the lake. I have never seen a dragon like it. It looked like the one I met three years ago but this one was black and purple and had little silver spots under its wings. It also has speckles of red green blue orange yellow just scattered through its scales. It was the most beautiful dragon I have ever seen. It was like a fallen star with wings. But the usual dragons around this area are slim and brightly colored. This one was more buff and darkly colored. It had dark forest green eyes. It has this sliver scale beside each side of its eyes like a little diamond tear. It was so calm and beautiful. I started my way towards it slowly. Careful with my every step. But apparently not careful enough. I stepped on a stick and with a loud "SNAP" I froze in my steps. The dragon looked up from the lake with fear in its eyes. A few of its scales turned a pale green color but not all which was strange. Then it spotted me. I took a few side steps to the left to get out of the forest. My hands in the air to show I'm not a threat. But this dragon didn't seem to be afraid it seem to be curious. And surprisingly this dragon stepped back a couple of steps tail wrapped around its talons and head lowered as if to get a better look at me. We stood there like that for what seemed like an eternity. Until I said
" your a strange looking dragon..." I thought out loud.
I make eye contact with the dragon. Then the strangest thing happened. Like something was crawling inside my head and I heard a voice.... A strange yet soothing young female voice almost like a teenager voice say,
" you're one to talk little scavenger."
