Long ago, there were three kingdoms; humans, angels, and demons. They all used to live in peace together until the demons began capturing humans as slaves for their king. This enraged the angels.

Angels were known as messengers from god to the human race. The humans worshiped the angels and shunned the demons, as they were different. It wasn't long before an angel was captured and given to the demon king. The king quickly took a liking to her. She was beautiful, a true sight for sore eyes, she thought the same of the king. She had long black hair that reached her waist along with beautiful violet eyes. She was small, just about 5'5 and had large white wings that drug across the ground as she walked, her name was Jennavieve. While the king had no wings but a demon tail and horns. He had bright red eyes and short black hair and was tall, about 6'2, his name, Valadium.

During this, the angels were preparing for war. The capture of an angel would not go unpunished. The angels sent a declaration of war to the demon king. When Jennavieve learned about this she tried to reason with the angels but failed. The angels labeled her as a traitor and ordered her to be sentenced to death. She fled the kingdom of angels and returned to Valadium and the kingdom of demons. Not long after, they married and Jennavieve learned she was expecting twins.

It's been 5 years since Prince Lukas and Princess Lucianna was born and Queen Jennavieve was gathering herbs for remedies in the human kingdom. The identical twins, both holding her hands, stopped at a pond near the outskirts of the kingdom. While there, 3 humans attacked the queen and her children resulting in the death of the queen. The humans used the wings of demons for profit and as trophies. An angel's brings more money. Lucianna and Lukas ran and hid in a cave near the pond. The entrance of the cave was too small for the hunters to get them so the hunters decided to wait, they had to come out at some point, right?

King Valadium was getting worried, why wasn't his family home yet? He left the castle on horseback with two guards to look for his wife and children.

When he arrived at the pond he was met with the grusum sight of his wife lieing in her own blood. The snapped bones from her removed wings protruding from her shoulder blades. The demon king felt an emotion he hadn't felt in a long time, sadness. This was soon replaced by anger.

Valadium had lost control. He killed two of the hunters before they fled but couldn't get to the other. After he calmed down he stoped dead in his tracks. Where were his children?

Valadium frantically began searching for the twins. He was able to hear crying and hurried over to the sound. When he got there he saw Lucianna crying into her brothers arms while Lukas was in front of her. Valadium soon got the children out of the cave and calmed Lucianna. He sat Lukas with one of the guards and gave Lucianna to the other. He picked up the limp body of his wife and began riding home to the castle. Tears flowing down flowing down his face.
