Iceberg met Sunset's eyes. "Some reunion."

Iceberg turned to Sunset. "Y'know, you could still come with us," She said to her.
"No," She said slowly. "I don't think... I deserve to."
"But you do!" Iceberg said.

"You're the kind of Dragonets they write prophecies about. You're heroes and saviors and I'm-well, I'm the opposite of that. I'm the bad guy."
"No, you're not." Iceberg said firmly.
Sunset shook her head. "I only got you out of the Sky Kingdom because of you. I thought I was born a killer, but it turns out I wasn't. Queen Comet made me that way... or I let myself become that way. It's like I chose it without knowing I chose it. You knew what you were like, and you chose to be something else. I guess I feel like I can't be one of you unless I can do that, too."
She blinked, her blue-fire eyes taking in each of her friends. "I'm going back to the Sky Kingdom. That's where I belong, and I need to know if Queen Comet is dead."

"Iceberg, we have to go." Battlebringer said.
Iceberg looked at Sunset. "Don't you want to leave? Don't you want to see the world outside the Sky Kingdom?" Sunset looked at the ash in her claws. "Not until I feel the world can be safe around me."

Iceberg tilted her head. "Are you sure? What if Storm takes out his anger on you?"
Sunset shrugged. "There's only one good thing about me, and it's that no dragon can hurt me. Except you." Sunset said.
Iceberg twined her tail with Sunset's. "That's not the only thing." She said to her.

"Um...guys..." Foeseer said. "We may have company..." She pointed to the SkyWing palace which was flooding with SkyWing guards.. the search for the Dragonets have begun..
"We need to go. Now." Snowflake said, looking at the guards, worried.

Foeseer's ears lifted. "I have an idea... but you guys may not like it."
Paradise sighed. "What does this idea of yours involve?"

Foeseer looked at Paradise. "It's a plan you may not like. We swim in the river and once we're far enough, we could go to the Ice Kingdom to meet Iceberg's parents." She said, smiling at Iceberg.

Paradise gave her a long stare, her dark blue eyes shimmering slightly from deep within. "Do you even understand, I mean at all, like in the slightest how likely it is for this plan to fail and for us to end up under the claws of a ruthless queen again? We still need to find or rescue Stargazer for moons sake!"
She glanced at Iceberg. "It's not that finding your parents doesn't matter, don't we have more important things to worry about currently? Like I don't know, survival?"
Foeseer rolled her eyes. "Or I could just make us invisible to the SkyWings when we cross the river, Paradise."

Paradise gave a low growl. "What about dangerous queens?! Do you not understand you all almost DIED BACK THERE!" Her tail lashed wildly. "We CANNOT risk getting caught again, even if your flaunting around your powers to make yourself believe your invincible, you not Foe. You all nearly died and we don't know where Stargazer is. I won't let you rush off again," Her voice shuddered slightly. "I won't."

Battlebringer groaned quietly. "Guys. Please. Now is not the time. We can focus on our families later but right now we need to find Stargazer." He raised his eyebrow at Foeseer and Paradise.
Paradise turned to face him quickly, she looked like she was about to snap, then relaxed ever so slightly. "Thank you." She muttered. "Someone is acting reasonably at least."

Foeseer pointed to the SkyWings in the sky. "Guys, we literally have no time to argue about this!" Battlebringer shot hos head up and leapt to his talons. "Yup, time to go!"
Paradise's eyes flashed to the sky. "Fine Foe... Do NOT move a single INCH towards the river."
Battlebringer was tense as he spotted the SkyWings. "I'll fight anyone of them if they hurt my friends," he muttered.

Sunset nuzzled Iceberg one last time. "Goodbye Iceberg.." She said softly. Iceberg twined tails with Sunset, smiling at her. "I'll see you soon, Sunset."
Paradise gave them a furious glare. "If this goes horribly wrong you'll wish you were dead."
Battlebringer was sitting quietly, watching his friends.

Foeseer smiled. "Alright, let's go." She jumped in the river and swam ahead.
Sunset nodded. She then flew up to the SkyWing patrol. "Hey feather-brains!"
Paradise's head fell. "I detest all of you." Her scales shifted and she slipped into the river.

As they were swimming, Iceberg was able to grab a talonfull of mud and swam over to Battlebringer. "We can cover ourselves in mud to hide." She suggested to him.
Battlebringer nodded. "Smart idea, Iceberg." He took the mud in his talons and smeared it across his horns and scales.
Iceberg smushed it on her scales, covering up her light blue scales.
Paradise's head raised from the water and looked at them both, her eyes slightly narrowed.

Iceberg felt like her scales were being clean from the horrors of the Sky Kingdom. Her wings stretched free and her friends were close by again. Maybe they weren't safe yet, but at least now she had a chance at having them safe for a while.
The Sky Kingdom was behind them.
Ahead of them was the Ice Kingdom and her parents, and home, at last.
