Snakes (Pt 2)
Her feet landed on uneven ground causing her to stumble but she managed to keep her balance. The world around her seemed to be crumbling...the stone walls seem to threaten to cave in as she scanned her surroundings. Her wings which she used to glide down were tucked behind her back and mostly hidden by her hair. She probably should have left it be the second she found out where the snake was going...but no. Curiosity seemed to be keeping her from just flapping those strange wings of hers and nopeing out of this God forsaken place/ Literal hell-hole. She gulped as she looked around more. Flames danced along the wall from torches that lit this place up, Claw and scorch marks were all over the walls, And statues of snakes lined the place. Yep she should definitely leave and she was about to as well. But just as she stretched her wings a large rock suddenly crashed on her left wing. "OW." she yelled as she was forced to the ground as pain exploded from her left wing.
Footsteps reached her ears causing her to quickly try to tug her wing free from the large boulder and when she finally does she hides behind a rock after realizing that her only way out was currently out of commission *Her left wing being broken* "Hmmm..." she heard someone say as she heard them stop right in front of the rock she was behind, Her hand covered her mouth to stifle her breathing and fear seemed to fill her core. "Either a strange dove found it's way here or we have an intruder..." FRICK HER FEATHERS! There was the sound of movement before the rock she was hiding behind was thrown revealing her hiding spot. Gasping she turned around to be face to face with a skeleton demon...well she couldn't say demon per say, He had the horns but black feathered wings sprouted from his back, Snakes were slithering around his arms and his one cyan eye looked down at her, He seemed to be covered in some kind of substance...her eyes widened in fear when she realized who this was as she backed up. This was Nightmare one of the most feared demons of hell.
He gave her a sharp toothed smile. "Well well well an angel from heaven. What brings you here?" he asked looking at her. His eyelight landed on her bleeding wing which she quickly clutched as if to hide it from him. His smile grew wider as he turned his attention back to her face. "Well..." he started as he took a step towards her causing her to take another step back. "This should be easy than." her back hit the freezing stone as she waited for him to kill her...He had her cornered before he frowned. "You know just killing you would be boring..." his snakes hissed at her causing her to wince..."How about we play a nice and friendly game." well this was this was new. She froze...What sort of game.
"Hide and seek. You have 4 chances to hide from me. If you win I'll help you escape but if you lose..." he slammed his hands on the wall on each side of her head causing her to slam her eyes shut. "Your Mine..." She grew pale. She knew she had no choice...If she said no she would certainly die but if she says yes he would certainly win so either way it means death...but maybe if she found a way out before he can find her than she would win...but what if he decides to look in heaven...Ugh so many cons. She was about to open her mouth when Nightmare gave her a menacing smile. "You have an hour to hide." with that he flew off to who knows where. She really didn't have a choice now...
