Percy pov

"no no no I'm not flying!"

"Percy you have wings use them." Max put her hand on my wing.

"You know I changed my mind I think I'd rather be a stain on the sidewalk as opposed to being electrocuted!" Fang and the rest of the flock had already flown out the window. Which left just me and Max.

"Look Percy I'm real sorry about this but you have to learn some way." And with that she pushed me out the window. I started falling I prayed to Zeus do not shoot me out of the sky but then out of instinct my wings spread out. I started flapping them up and down as I started rising. I rose up to the height of the rest of the flock. "Percy your doing great!" said Max.

"Thanks I just hope-"

"Perseus Jackson!" came a voice from behind me.

I turned around to see an iris message. All the gods were there it was a message from Olympus.

"Oh gods. Please don't shoot me!" I got into a ball tucking my legs in covering my head.

"Perseus I'm not going to shoot you I just want to talk."

I lifted up my arm "you aren't?"

"No your father has convinced me that sense you have helped the gods on multiple occasions that I at least owe it to you to not kill you."

"Really? That's great! Thank you Lord Zeus!"

"Oh whatever. Oh and your father wanted to talk to you as well."

"Hello Percy."

"Hi dad!"

"I am so sorry. I just want you to know I'm very proud of you. It just after all the stuff that's happened to you-"

"It ok dad and...thanks." And with that I swiped my hand through the iris message. I turned around to see everyone staring at me.

"What?"

"Were those gods?"Asked an astonished Gazzy.

"Yeah. So?" I didn't see what was so great about them. Half the time I saw the gods they were trying to kill me.

"Look I'll tell you all about them later. Right now we better get somewhere where we can rest. It's going to be a long flight to New York."

"What's in New York?" fang asked.

"home." And with that we all flew off towards a line of mountains in the distance. All the way I was thinking about when I heard a voice in my head.

*it's ok Percy. You'll see her agin.* I didn't know what the voice was but I knew it was right. Even if it was the last thing I ever did I would see Annabeth again.
