Nico pov

"Annabeth! Wake up!" I screamed. Finally she started to stir. I helped her stand up then I walked her into to the diner. We sat down at a table then she broke down crying. "Annabeth" I asked "What happened? Where's Percy? Weren't you guys on a date?" To this she started crying even more.

She finally settled down enough to speak "Perc-Percy's been kidnapped. "She croaked then almost to herself "again" she whispered.

I starred at her "did you see who kidnapped him? Cause if it was Hera again I swear-"

"No" Annabeth cut in "it wasn't Hera. It was mortals."

This caught me off guard "what would mortals want with Percy? Do they know he's a demigod?!"

"Gods Nico how would I know what they want!" she snapped. Then she scowled at herself "I'm sorry Nico its just... I just got him back and now he's been kidnapped again!" she stopped "How did you know I was here?"

"Rachel" I answered "I was visiting at her house when all of a sudden she told me to shadow travel here. When I got here I was about to head back and tell her nothing was wrong. Then I saw you lying there... So" I stopped "what are we going to do?"

"Head back to camp" she said immediately. "Do you have enough strength to shadow travel?"

I paused "I think so but when we get there I'll have to sleep for a couple hours so I won't be much good to you."

"That's ok" she said "but we need to hurry before he gets too far away."

"Ok then" I said standing up and reaching out my hand to her "Let's go save your Seaweed Brain!" To this she smiled and grabbed my hand.
