Max pov

It had been two days since they had taken Percy. But more importantly it had been two weeks since I had been kidnapped from the flock. We had been in New York when a couple Erasers jumped us and took me away. Every day I wait for the flock to rush into the School and save me but they haven't found me yet.

Right then two Erasers walked in dragging Percy between them. They opened up my cage and threw him in. His orange t-shirt and jeans were covered in blood. I scooted over to him. He was lying face down. I helped him turn on to his back. He immediately arched his back upward in pain.

"Back's not a good idea right now." He said through gritted teeth.

"What?" I helped him get into a sitting position. As I did my hand slipped to a spot in between his shoulder blades. I stopped "oh Percy." I knew exactly what that was. I slowly slipped his shirt off over his head. I laid Percy back down on his stomach. Against his back lay two large black wings with blue tips. I slowly helped him unfold them so he would be more comfortable. I then sat down next to him and let him rest his head on my lap as I rubbed small circles in between his wings and ran my fingers threw his hair.

I could tell he was still in extreme pain but he wouldn't show it. "Max?" he asked hoarsely.

"Yeah?" I asked.

"Thanks." And with that he nodded off to sleep. And a few minutes later as did I.
