(A/N - Hey guys! :) Long time no see! Today is the 2 year anniversary of my joining Wattpad and I wanted to do something special. This was the very first story I posted on here and although its a bit cringey now that I look back at it, I still am proud of it. To be honest, I got tired of it. That's why I killed everyone off in the first place. Then I felt a smidgen of guilt, so I wrote a 2 sentence chapter simply saying they didn't die. That was a jerky move. So as a 2 year anniversary gift I gave you all a second alternate ending. In my opinion, this is how I wish I would have ended it in the first place. So enjoy!)  

Percy Pov

"Ok is every one ready?" They all nodded "Good. Now Jason."

Jason raised his hand up and brought a lightning bolt down on the school. Alarms started blaring as the building caught on fire. A nice little distraction if I do say so myself.

I quickly brought my sword out and sliced through the bars of the cages. We all quickly ran out of the room and into the hallway... where lie hundreds of Erasers.

Max looked around the room "There's no way we can beat all of them..."

I quickly scanned the room and saw what I was looking for. I turned to Max and pointed at a large window "Get them out of here I'll cover you!"

"Percy no!" Annabeth grabbed onto my arm "They'll kill you!"

I pulled my arm free "I'll be fine. I promise."

To everyone's surprise the flock let out their wings and they each quickly grabbed one of the demigods. Finally just Max Annabeth and I were left.

Annabeth glared at Max and I "I won't go. Percy I just got you back I'm not leaving you again!"

"I'm sorry..." I gave her a quick peck on the check then turned to Max.

"No!!!" Annabeth yelled as max flew her out the window.

I sighed, at least they were safe. I then looked back to the problem at hand. "Now how am I going to get myself out of this mess...?"

Third Person Pov

The Flock safely dropped the demigods down in front of the school. The building was on fire but they weren't really paying attention to that. All of their eyes were focused on a single window.

Annabeth was crying as they waited for what felt like hours. Finally a giant explosion blasted through the window and she screamed. "PERCY!!!" Everyone's hearts shattered as they saw a limp form with black hair crash through the window.

Fang jumped into the air ready to catch him, but the all secretly knew he wouldn't make in time.

Suddenly two shiny black wings sprang from Percy's back. The demigods couldn't believe their eyes as he clumsily broke his fall and landed in a heap on the ground. Everyone ran over to him as he slowly started to sit up.

"You idiot!" Max yelled looking at his severely broken wing.

"Oh well I'm sorry!" He rolled his eyes "Next time I just won't break my fall!"

"You know that's gonna need to be set right?" Percy was so busy glaring at Fang he didn't hear Iggy walk up behind him.

There was a loud snap and Percy cried out in pain. Iggy grinned "All better!"

Percy was seething "A little warning next time?!"

"Percy...?" he looked over at Annabeth and the demigods who were staring at his wings. He became embarrassed as he tried his best to hide them behind his back. To his surprise Annabeth ran over to him and wrapped her arms around him. "I know that those scientists did horable things to you seaweed brain but I love you no matter what!" then she kissed him and the whole flock awed.

Percy glared at them "Aw shut up!" everyone laughed as they started to make their way home.

It was a bit embarrassing at first but Percy eventually told the whole camp what had happened. After that no one dared make fun of him again. (Not even Clarisse!) It was now a normal occurrence to see Percy and Annabeth sitting on the beach as he held her in his wing protectively. He was never going to let anyone hurt his Wise Girl.
