Tooth Rotting Fluff

(DON'T HATE ME OKAY I JUST REALLY WANTED TO WRITE SOME FLUFF)

"Izuku..." I mumble, feeling around for him but finding an empty bed. I wanted to hug him. For ten hours straight. I was tired still so I don't get up, but I do shuffle around to face the door. About twenty minutes later, it opens and I notice through half-closed eyes a familiar floof of dark green hair.

"Izuku get over here," I say. He looks up in surprise, staring at me like he's not entirely sure I'm awake. He walks over nervously and I grab his arm, pulling him towards me and wrapping my arms tightly around him.

"E-EH? ERIN?!" he shouts, his ears red to the tips. He tries weakly to escape, more out of embarrassment than anything else, but I hold on to him. Eventually he gives up and hugs me back.

"Did something happen?" he murmurs, tracing circles on my back that sent shivers down my spine.

"I felt sad and I needed something to cuddle." I state plainly, nuzzling closer to him. I could feel his erratic heartbeat and practically sense his red face. I don't know how, but I fell asleep again. When I open my eyes, I notice he was sleeping too. I smile and lay back down, staring at his face mere inches from mine, and place a quick kiss on his lips.

"I really love you, Izuku," I whisper, closing my eyes again. Little did I know, he was still half awake. His face turned so red that it rivalled a tomato, but I didn't notice, since I was already asleep again.

When we wake up again, he had to fight to get me off him, then drag me out of the bed.

"Come on, let me sleep some more!" I whine, crossing my arms.

"I know it's the weekend, but you can't sleep the whole day," he says, laughing. I stop struggling and smile up at him. I could look at this boy forever and still like what I see. Without warning, I stand up and wrap my arms around his neck, kissing him.

"AAAAAAAAAA ERIN WHYYYYYY???" he shouts, hiding his face in embarrassment. I laugh, and to him it sounded like bells.

"Because you're cute when you're flustered. Actually, you're always cute. Now let's go eat," I say, now dragging him. I didn't want him to see my red face. Inko was already at the table, eating a few pancakes, and we join her. After we finish, we put out plates up on the sink and go out into the back yard. I lie on the grass, watching him working out, grinning evilly as he slowly gets more and more embarrassed. It was his fault for coming out here shirtless.

"C-Come on, stop staring at me like that!" he protests, making me laugh more.

"Remember when we were kids? Who knew that we would end up like this," I say, feeling oddly nostalgic, "It was really just us against the world back then."

"Yeah, that was fun. This is better, though."

"And why would that be?"

"Because-" he says, then leans down to connect our lips, "-I get to do that."

My face turns red, my eyes wide, and I quickly roll over, hiding from him.

"Why are you like this!" I complain, clapping my hands over my face.

"That was payback! Don't complain!" he laughs, making me wish I could sink into the ground. Suddenly, an idea strikes me.

"I got an idea for a game to play," I snicker. Even thinking about it was making my heart beat faster. He caught a sight of my face and his own turns suspicious.

"What are you thinking?"

"First one to pull away loses."

"W-WHAT?! WHAT DO YOU MEAN-"

I cut him off by pressing my lips against his, screaming in my head. He staggers backwards out of surprise, giving me the first win.

"Woo, I win!" I cry, throwing my hands up in victory. His face is entirely red by now and his eyes are a bit clouded.

"Um... Izuku, are you okay?" I ask, waving my hand in front of his face.

"Uh- Yeah, yeah. I'm okay, you just, um, surprised me. Now, I'm gonna go back inside and uh- water my All Might action figures!" he shouts, darting inside. I watch him leave and wonder if I went overboard. After all, he is really shy, even around me.

"Sorry!" I shout, then find a comfortable spot in the old tree we used to climb as kids. Now, only one of us can go up at a time. I sigh, a turmoil of emotions tumbling around inside my heart. I lean back against one of the branches and stare through a gap in the leaves up at the sky. I missed flying in that sky, but not as much as I expected. Actually scratch that I miss it heaps. I missed the strong winds that used to carry me through the sky with little effort at all, and feeling the air rush past me. You couldn't get that experience from becoming lightning.

The door to the house opens again and Izuku walks out, looking much calmer than he had been when he went inside. He looks around for me and, when he doesn't see me, turns around to go back inside to look for me there.

"Up here, dingus," I call. He turns around and looks up in the tree, noticing me sitting up there. I jump down to the ground but misjudge the distance and end up falling over. I laugh and stand up, brushing myself off, and he gives a gentle smile.

"Come on, I wanna play a game with you," he says softly. I raise one eyebrow suspiciously, walking towards him.

"What ga-"

I'm taken off guard as his arms slip around my waist, pulling me into him. I gasp and he uses the opportunity to press his lips against mine, then slip his tongue into my mouth. After a few seconds of numb shock, I turn into electricity and zap to the other side of the yard.

He seems to realise what he did and his face turns red. He starts backing away, towards the door, practically spewing apologies. I give a shaky laugh.

"No, it's fine, I just wasn't expecting that. I-I'm gonna go to the park for a while. See you!" I shout, then zap away. Once I re-materialize, I make sure there aren't any people nearby and then scream as loudly as I can, covering my face with my hands. A few minutes later, someone approaches me.

"Hey, are you okay? Did you scream?" a familiar voice asks. I look up and lock eyes with Kirishima, who's eyes widen when he sees my face.

"Why are you so red?" he asks carefully sitting next to me, close enough that our arms brush eachother.

"For reasons. I thought there wasn't anyone here?" I ask.

"I like coming here. Now, come on. Tell me what happened," he says gently, subtly moving closer. I watch him closely, making sure he doesn't cross any boundaries. I felt really conflicted now, not wanting to break his heart yet also not wanting to let him do something that we'll both eventually regret.

"I'd really rather not talk about it with you," I say, hoping he'll get the hint.

"Is it about Midoriya?"

"Technically, yes. But seriously, stop." I say, a bit more forcefully. He looks a bit sad at my bluntness but doesn't press the point any more. I sigh, standing up and saying I have to go.

"Want me to walk you home?" Kirishima suggests. I finally decide this has gone on long enough. I'm not going to let him get hurt any more than he is now.

"Listen, I... I don't like you in that way. I only love Izuku. Please, don't try to change that," I say quietly, staring at the ground. He stares at me in shock, his mouth hanging open. Eventually he closes his jaw and nods, swallowing thickly.

"Yeah, I... I understand. Sorry about that," he says, then walks away. I felt an unexplainable sadness after watching him leave.
