Sorry about the long wait, I had exams and needed to study as they were short on notice.

"So what are you doing?"

Thanatos jumped and turned his head to the side and saw no one there.

There was a tap on his head, "Up here idiot."

Thanatos looked up and saw Korigan looking down at him.

"Um nothing."

"Exactly! Why are you doing nothing?"

"I don't know."

"Surely there is a reason," Korigan said, taking a sip out of a straw.

Thanatos hesitated, the merfil was right there was a reason. "There is too many people here."

"Not one for crowds huh?"

"No, not particularly."

"Miss Princess over there was holding onto you pretty tight, any reason?" Korigan said, smoothly switching the topic. They gestured at Persephone dancing with Hades with their coral glass.

Thanatos chuckled, "She doesn't trust me not to leave."

"Is she making you stay for the whole thing?"

"No, just until the speech. She said that I can leave after that."

"You look pretty strong, why don't you just leave."

Thanatos ignored the compliment, because he knew that if he focused on it he would probably melt into the shadows.

"You do not want to see an angry Persephone, she is terrifying."

"Thats the same with Kym, you don't know true fear until you have her after your blood."

"I hope I don't have to experience that."

"For your sake I hope you don't," they said quietly. "So whats the deal with you and Tri?"

"We've met a few times."

"Were you the one that called him the s word," they said quietly.

Thanatos tried to keep a neutral expression but he could feel his face drooping. "Yes that was me."

"But you were also the one that got him away from the walker above?"

"Wha- who?"

"I don't want to say his name but uh tall, muscles, looks stupid."

"Do you mean Herca-"

"Don't say the name! And yes I do."

"Yeah that was me."

"Tri told me that you apologised for that, said it sounded genuine."

Thanatos sighed, "I really am sorry for that, I know that it is no excuse but it slipped out. I had no idea that it was a slur or harmful in anyway."

Korigan hummed for a moment and stayed silent.

Thanatos had no idea what else to say so he just watched the dancers. Couples spun about in all directions and Thanatos could appreciate the beauty of it.

In the sea there was no set way for moving, unlike and world above. Above things were simple, yet complex. They could only move at one level unless there was an upper ground for them to move. No wings to soar the sky, everything was incredibly complex. There was people with pale skin who didn't like Thanatos because they thought he was 'different', they would never provide an explanation. Then there was ones like him with darker skin, tightly curled hair and dark eyes. They liked him, they said that Thanatos was like them. They were more friendly than the pale ones. Some were worried about the afterlife but after Thanatos reassured them that it wasn't too bad unless you did something horrible in life.

Underwater was different. Merfolk of all colours swam around, purple, green, red, blue. They could move up, down and to the side. Nothing was restricting.

Thanatos found that under the Sea was quickly becoming one of his top five places.

Korigan finally spoke, "I believe you, fear can make anyone do odd things they don't truly mean."

"I never said I was afraid."

"Tri mentioned it," Korigan said with a grin at the death god.

"Oh, that explains it."

"Indeed. Oh look Kym's breaking up with someone."

Thanatos looked to where the merfil was pointing and saw Kymopoleia talking to the mermaid that had dragged him down before.

Korigan leaned down and grabbed his wrist, "Lets go listem to them!"

"Wha-" Thanatos started to say but still let the merfil drag him over. Maybe this event would have some problems. Probably caused by Korigan.

Triton watched the angel be dragged along by Kori. He made a mental note of a few things about the god.

1) He didn't struggle when Kori started to pull him along.

2) He kept a neutral expression the whole time, not letting any emotion slip unless it took him by surprise.

3) Avoided conversation.

4) Stayed polite even when visibly uncomfortable.

Triton had watched him subtly for quite some time. He saw the gods discomfort at the multitude of people.

Triton himself was trying to avoid the crowds. A little too many beings even for him. So he was hiding in a crevice near the ceiling, tucked away from the chatter below. Andy cuddled against his side and occasionally tried to lick his face.

The seal tried to attack his face once Triton stopped petting him.

Triton lifted the seal off him and lay down on his back, taking his eyes off the crowded room below.

"Quite needy aren't you," Triton said making eye-contact with Andy.

Andy yapped in response, not attempting to form a sentence. Before wiggling out of Triton's grasp and snuggling against his chest.

Triton scratched the seals head, "Yeah yeah, I love you too."

A head popped over the side of the crevice. Kym quickly came up over the side and lay down beside him.

Triton turned his head to face his sister, "Hello to you too."

"Shut up!" Kym slapped a hand to cover his mouth.

Being a very mature being, Triton licked her hand.

Kym took her hand away, "Ew."

"What did you do?"

"Broke up with Sepresine."

"Oh sounds amazing."

Kym punched his arm, "She didn't like the fact that I'm trans because apparently I led her on. Ok calm down lady we get it your lesbian, no need to shove it in my face."

"If she can't accept you for who you are then she isn't for you."

"I know I know," Kym said, copying Triton's pose and putting an arm behind her head.

Triton began petting the seal on his chest again, "She sounds awful."

"She was nice and all but she always changed herself for others. She was kind of fake," Kym said.

"If she was that fake then was breaking up with her the best thing or do you regret it?"

Kym thought for a moment, "It was for the best, she couldn't accept me. Also I don't need anyone except Andy." She put on a baby voice, "Isn't that right, who's a good seal? That's you! Thats right its you!"

Andy was loving the attention. Licking Kym's face and just showering her in attention.

Traitor, Triton thought.

Triton rolled her eyes, "First you steal my quiet spot, then use me as a free therapist, then you steal Andy! Thats too far!"

"Andy is mine!" Kym hissed, hugging the seal to herself.

Andy tried to wiggle out of her grasp and hid under Triton's arm.

"Hah!"

"Traitor!"

"Deal with it."

"I'm Andy's favourite!"

"Andy hid from you, sure you're their favourite."

Kym went to punch him again but froze when she heard their father's booming voice echo around the room. Repeating and rising to the top.

"We are all gathered here today for this announcement, the Underworld will join the Sea in our quest for equality. You should get used to the occupants of the Underworld as they are now our allies."

Kym and Triton made eye-contact before moving to peak over the edge.

Poseidpn continued on, "We will begin our attack soon, expect news within a week."

Kym let out a deep breath, "A week."

"A week."

"It's happening."

"I know."

"Do you think it'll work?"

"I hope so, or else the Sea will be no more."
