The presents were awesome. I noticed Misty got a present from Caspian. Storm didn't get me anything else, and for a brief moment I felt a twinge of jealousy. It wasn't for long though. Storm doesn't need to shower me with presents to be one of my friends. Just being Storm is all he needs to do to make me happy. Besides, he was thirteen, it's not like he has a lot of pocket money to spend. The pearl necklace was actually, now that I think about it, probably an expensive gift as it is. Anything extra would seem a bit desperate. The day went by quickly.
The last few weeks of school were a daze, going by so fast. Misty's leg had healed after a week, but my shoulder was still hurting, even on the second to last week of school. It only hurt slightly, and even then it was only when I was in an uncomfortable situation. The homework was now controllable, and it was easy to juggle as many classes as we had. We had a lot of new teachers, though. It was sad.
