We left after eating. Lilly was excited when she found out that they were going to help out with the horses. We arrived I went straight to the storage sheds and had Lucas help me get the feed into the wheelbarrow. We had them meet the horses, then had them give them some feed. Jasmine filled the water buckets, Aaron helped Kayla with cleaning the stalls. Lucas and Lilly brushed the horses one by one while I held onto the reigns keeping them still. We finished in about an hour, Aaron put the saddles on and helped the girls up. Lilly rode with Jasmine it being her first time riding, Kayla rode Steel, Jasmine and Lilly were riding Angel, and Aaron rode Doc.

Emma came in. Emma is slightly smaller than me, bond hair with blue tips, she has blue eyes and freckles. She came over and gave me a hug.
"Wren." She practically screamed into my ears. Everyone was outside so the horses weren't too spoked, also they have kind of got used to her loud voice." I'm glad you're okay. Do you know what is going to happen?"
I shook my head." Get Witch ready we are about ready to start riding." I grabbed Thalia and waited with her. Emma got ready quick and would clean the stall while Witch was out in the pasture for the day. We walked out together and found Aaron walking around next to Kayla who was up on Steel.
"Are you ready to start riding?" I asked.
"Who's that?"Kayla asked looking over.
"This is my best friend Emma and her horse Witch." I said. Lucas ran over after handing is reigns to Jasmine.
"Emma!" He said. She slid the reins up her arm so she could sign.
"Hey little man." She was hugged from the knees. I had been friends with Emma since we were 6. When Lucas came she learned how to sign along with me. We had already known the A.B.Cs but we learned more. Lucas sees Emma as a big sister
"So are we going to ride?" Emma asked signing as she spoke. Everyone jumped on their horses. Lucas mounted onto Mickey, Jasmine placed Lilly on Angel then mounted herself, Aaron mounted but stayed near Kayla. Lucas stayed near me. Emma stayed in the back while the Yankees were in between us. We went on a trail leading to the creek and small clearing from the woods. It is our favorite spot to stay for a while before returning. We rode for a good hour before reaching the spot, my mom and step dad built some hooks into a board for when we come out here. I dismounted and hooked Thalia up to her spot. Mickey knew where to go without Lucas, I finished locked up all the horses then helped Lilly and Lucas get down. Emma and I went out to our rock. The Yankees went to the bench my parents also built and put here.
"What's going to happen to the barn?" Emma asked when we both sat down.
"My mom had a lot of money saved up. I think the horses would be able to stay here for a long time. The barn will stay. I mean it is built into the ground. She did have life insurance both her and James got it when they got married."
"What about you? Where are you and Lucas going to go?"
"You know how I have my dad's phone I'm going to try calling the contacts. Maybe they have the same numbers there is only 3 numbers in there." I informed her leaning back into the rock.
"Okay, if they don't work I can always ask my mom."
"Thanks Aaron said that they might adopt us. I think they might have a connection with Lucas and him being deaf and everything."
We continued talking for another hour before going back. We brushed the horses as Emma cleaned out Witches stall. We swept the halls and refilled the water. Everyone went into the house. Lucas went and showed Lilly his room. Emma and Kayla followed me up to my room while Aaron and Jasmine stayed downstairs in the living room.
Emma got my suitcase out of the closet and grabbed some of my shirts and pants. Kayla looked around my room. It was painted blue with darkish grey lines. There were some shelves that held my various awards from riding. I have been riding since I was 4 like Lucas. When I was 8 I was allowed to start competing. I had pictures that I had taken posted on one wall, some were horses, others locations then a bunch of me and Emma, me and Lucas, whole family photos of before James died. A bookshelf was on one wall the edges painted with the my room blue, books filled every shelf. A slightly smaller bookshelf held my personal collection of movies and t.v.shows. I had a picture that I had painted hanging on one wall. I had a black desk with some reference books, pencils, and other tools were on my desk.
Kayla sat on my bed as Emma and I packed some of my things. My mom had me and Lucas homeschooled so we could help out more at the barn. I did some classes in the summer, so I grabbed my notes and folders that I needed for those classes. Emma and Kayla started talk I excused myself and went to Lucas's room. I found Lilly and Lucas sitting and playing together. I got out a bag and packed up some of his books, notebooks, and a few extra batteries for his hearing aids. I went and had Emma and Kayla bring down our bags and put them down by the door. I went upstairs to the attic and into my secret space. No one not even Emma, or Lucas knew about my spot. I curled up looking out the window, I quietly started to cry. I didn't know what to do. I'm a 14 year old girl with a 6 year old brother, correction deaf brother, no mom or stepdad. With no clue who my biological parent was. I pulled my dad's phone and turned it on. The first number was under the name Dean. I looked at it long and hard.
Finally I decided to dial after wiping my tears and I got calmed down for a few minutes.
"Hello?" A deep voice answered. There was a rumbling sound of a car in the background.
"Hi. I'm looking for John. I don't know his last name."
""Winchester?" The voice said.
"Maybe? My mom never told me."
"Okay, well John died a while ago. I'm Sam, Maybe I can help."
"Great." I mumbled. I am officially an orphan. " I'm Wren. Um, my mom said that this was my Dads phone, and not to call anyone on the contact list unless it was an emergency."
"Dean pull over." Sam said.
"Don't tell me what to do Sam." I think Dean replied
"I'm telling you now. Pull the car over." I heard some grumbling then the car stopped and the car and shut off. "Wren what did you mean by this is your dad's phone?" Sam asked
"My mom had a one night stand and the guy left his phone and she couldn't get it back to him. Then she found out she was pregnant with me."
"Wren, right? Um how old are you?" The other voice said.
"14." I answered.
"That would make sense. That would have been right after you left for Stanford. Dad left to go do some cases by himself while he had me do some simple ones with Bobby." Dean said talking with Sam.
"Wait, what do you mean Dad? Are you saying we have the same dad?"
"It looks like it. Wren where do you live? If we come it might be a bit easier to explain some things and possibly figure some other things out."
"Montana, South Creek, Montana." I answered.
"That's only about 14 hours away." I heard Dean say. "Wren we will call you when we get into town Ok. What is your phone number?"
I told them my number and we hung up.
