Through Skies we Fell

I edited the cover to more directly fit the species (Ispyree).

I also made a base for them, and I'm rather proud of how it turned out! But yes, this book for the start of Asudea is based on b e e s.

(excerpt for the prologue)

The Azurelands' Swamp was often silent, with a gentle hum of Falkurnus wings, however it was dead silent. Not even the Misteyed Trappers; an iridescent pastel blue carnivorous plant, also known as a giant version of a standard fly-catcher style plant, however designed to catch Cuttleflies, would snap its jaws and thrash wildly.
And it was all because a new princess for a Ispyree hive had been hatched, heir to the largest queen known on all of Asudea. A bee-like creature knew this, and felt drawn to its more intelligent versions. As it closed in on the giant queen's nesting grounds, a shadowy figure slammed into its side, taking it down into a sticky honey-like trap. But it revolted, wounding two little Ispyree in the process who were watching with fear. Several other Ispyree came and helped pin it down, while the queen swiftly appeared over the nesting grounds, about five times the size of a natural Ispyree.
Trees shook as the queen landed, the trees that the nesting grounds wrapped around barely able to hold her weight. "We have another one, Queen Cerana!" The one who had first taken down the great beast called to the queen.
Queen Cerana, despite the situation, spoke in a song-like tone. "Thankyou for warning me, Lucorum." The giant Ispyree dipped her head respectfully to the young warrior, and with a swift motion she opened her jaws, and a thick honey-like liquid secreted from her fangs stung the eye of the creature, which she tossed far out of the territory in which Cerana's Hive rested.
"That should tell the Ispyrs that we are a strong hive, meaning we still have our disguise among them." The queen remarked, dropping down into the nesting grounds. "Now then, where is my daughter?"
A gold and emerald green Ispyree was the first to make an effort, gently scooping up a tiny purple hatchling and presenting it to the queen.

What do you think? would you guys read it?
