"What do you want me to say? Do you want me to lie and say I love you?"

I sat in George and Alex's flat, tears streaming down my face and wetting my skin as I lay on their sofa with my body curled into itself. Alex crouched on the floor in front of me, sighs leaving his lips and an apologetic look in his eyes as he gently stroked my hair in a weak but still appreciated attempt to stop my tears. Suddenly, George rushed into the room, his face dropping as he saw what state I was in.

"Y/N, I'm so sorry." George shook his head as he rushed to sit beside me on the sofa and gently pulled me up and into his arms.

"I just can't believe that he did that to me." I cried into his shirt, making him sigh and nod as his hand gently landed on my head.

"I don't think that any of us did, if we're honest. He was the last person that we expected to do this." Alex nodded, George returning it as I thought back on the scene that I had come home to.

"Will, I'm home!" I yelled as I walked in and shut the front door. My eyebrows furrowed I got no response.

"Will?" I called out again, once again hearing nothing in reply. That was odd. The next video that my boyfriend of two years was scheduled to film was with Alex, and it was tomorrow, so I wasn't sure as to why he wasn't in the apartment. I walked in, more confusion filling my mind as sure enough, he was nowhere to be seen. I put my stuff down on the table and sighed, biting my lip as I thought about what I could do to fill the time before my boyfriend came home. My head shot up to look at our bedroom door as I heard a sound, my eyes widening and a pit forming in my stomach at the sudden noise. I bit my lip, trying to be slow and quiet in my movement as I slowly got the BB gun off of the table that Will had been given by Belle Delphine before starting to tiptoe down the hallway. My eyes widened as I could hear more shuffles and muffled talking as I got to our door. I took a deep breath before throwing it open and raising the gun.

"Drop what you've nicked, or I'll shoot!" I yelled. Will and Mia scrambled up in the bed, both of them sitting up and grabbing the white sheets in order to cover up their naked bodies. My eyes widened, them soon wavering as my heart stopped. Will looked at me with wide eyes as I dropped my hand that was holding the BB gun.

"The fuck is this, then?" I scoffed quietly, but we all knew that I was well aware of what I had walked in on.

"Y/N, pet, I swear to god, this isn't what it looks like." Will shook his head as he quickly stood up, grabbing a pillow and covering his clearly naked crotch with it as he did. My eyes wavered further and I looked at Mia.

"Do you honestly expect me to believe that nothing is going on, when I've come home to both of you naked, in our bed? Do you take me for that much of a fucking idiot?" I choked and shook my head.

"No, love, of course I don't-."

"Then please, do the only good thing that you'll ever do as my cheating, lying, piece-of-shit boyfriend, and tell me what the fuck is going on. I want to hear it from your mouth." I nodded. Will's blue eyes wavered, a tear leaving them as he just stared at me, clearly unsure of how he was going to talk himself out of this one. I choked and shook my head, dropping the BB gun and leaving the room before rushing out of the apartment.

"You caught him with Mia, too? Out of all people." Alex scoffed.

"I know. I caught him with the one girl that he told me to, quote, unquote, "not worry about". I suppose, though, that that's always how it goes." I choked.

"Doesn't make it okay." George mumbled, making me gulp and shake my head. Suddenly, George and Alex's doorbell rang, making me look up as the boys looked at each other with furrowed eyebrows.

"I'm not expecting anyone." Alex stated with a shake of his head.

"No, neither am I." George returned as he stood up and disappeared into the hallway. I groaned and held my head in my hands, tears pricking my eyes as I already knew who it would be at the door. My suspicions were confirmed moments later by the sound of yelling.

"If you think that I'm letting you anywhere near her, you're more stupid than you look."

"Please, mate, I need to sort this out, please just let me in."

"Sort it out? Jesus Christ, Will, there's nothing to sort out. You fucked it up."

"Fucks sake, do you think that I don't know that?! Please, just let is see her!"

"No, fuck off!"

"Aye, fuck this." Suddenly, the sound of a brief struggle replaced the yelling before the sound of footsteps hurrying towards me could be heard. I looked up and gulped, my heart dropping again as Will stood only a few metres away from me, his red and puffy eyes making it evident that he'd also cried a bit too. Why he was crying, though, I wasn't sure. He was the one who had cheated, what could he possibly have to cry about?

"I know that I'm the last person that you want to speak to right now, and I completely get that, but please, pet, let me at least talk to you." He begged, a choke in his voice as he spoke.

"Why the fuck should I? We're done, Will, there's nothing that you can say to make me change my mind." I choked and shook my head. He looked at me, his bit lip telling me that he was trying to stop more tears from falling.

"You wanted to know why. Let me at least tell you that." He nodded. I sighed and looked timidly at him.

"I can tell him to just fuck off if you want." George nodded, making Will clench his jaw at the boy.

"I'm standing right here, lad." He scoffed.

"Doesn't mean that I want to talk to you." George quipped back, making Will roll his eyes as he looked back at me. I sighed and looked between George and Alex.

"I'm okay." I nodded. They returned it and looked at each other.

"We'll be in my room, okay? Just text or shout or whatever if you need us." Alex nodded, making me return it as they headed out of the room. I gulped and looked down at my hands, making Will sigh as he sat next to me on the sofa. Silence filled the room, an air of sadness and regret occupying the absence of sound.

"Out with it, then. Why did you betray me like that?" I mumbled quietly, my gaze still glued to my hands. Will sighed, his hands rising to rub over his face before he looked at me.

"So, obviously, we've been friends with Mia for a while. I can't remember exactly when it was, but one weekend, you were back in Newcastle to visit your parents, and George was having a party, so I went alone. Chatted with everyone, including Mia, was nothing weird or flirty about anything that was said. Then she texted me the next day. Again, it was just innocent chat between friends, nothing flirty or anything that could constitute as cheating. But it didn't stay like that." He admitted. I gulped as I listened, my eyes squeezing shut as more tears flowed down my face.

"You had gotten back, but Mia hadn't stopped texting. I didn't either, because at that point, the texts were still innocent and were nothing more than friendly. But then she started to send more flirty stuff, and I...I didn't reciprocate, at first, but...I found myself liking the flirty texts that she'd send." He nodded. I shook my head, each word like a fatal stab to my heart as I sat there and helplessly listened to how my boyfriend had started cheating on me. I didn't want to hear it, but I knew that I had to.

"The next weekend that you weren't here, she suggested meeting up, and I stupidly agreed. I think that I'd somehow convinced myself that we were meeting up as friends and not as a date, despite the flirty texts. And, long story short, we ended up hooking up." He admitted. I gulped and nodded as I looked up at him, making him gulp.

"How long?" I asked. His eyes wavered, his jaw clenched as he looked down.

"Almost eight months now." He admitted. I choked, my eyes wavering as I turned my body to face him.

"Will, we've only been together for two years, and you're telling me that you've been seeing someone else for almost half of that time?! How could you!" I cried as I stood up.

"It's not like I meant for this to happen! I thought that I saw Mia as nothing more than a friend, and I honestly thought that she saw me the same way!" he exclaimed, following suit so that we were stood up and looking at each other.

"Even when you felt like that, you should have broken up with me and started seeing her! You've broken me by cheating!" I screamed.

"Do you think that I don't know that?! Do you think that I think I went about this in a good way?! No! I know that I've been a cunt and that I've ruined absolutely everything by doing this, but I was following my feelings! I liked Mia, so of course I went after her!" he shouted back. My eyes widened.

"You're supposed to LOVE me! Never mind fucking "like", we've been going out for two years, Will! You love me!" I yelled.

"What do you want me to say?! Do you want me to lie and say that I do love you?!" he shouted back. My eyes wavered, a choke leaving my lips at his words. My heart plummeted to my feet, Will also realising the magnitude of what he just said as his face dropped and he looked down.

"What? You were lying when you said that you loved me?" I choked quietly. He looked back up at me, fresh tears also leaving his eyes.

"Y-Y/N, I-."

"No, Will, the lies stop now, I'm too tired. Were you lying every time that you said that you loved me? On all of the videos that I'm in, all of the dinner dates, all of the times after sex, all of them. Were you lying every time?" I gulped, my heart petrified of knowing the answer but my head knowing that I had to know it. He looked at me, him also visibly as terrified as I was.

"Yes." He admitted quietly. I choked, a whole river of fresh tears leaving my eyes as my legs gave way and I fell onto the sofa. I sat there with my head in my hands, sobbing quietly into my skin as Will stood there, equally as defeated and upset.

"I can never tell you how sorry I am, lass. Believe me, this is the last way that I wanted this to play out." He scoffed and shook his head. I returned the shake.

"Just go. Please, Will, for the love of god, just go." I choked. I heard him sigh, and I could only imagine the sight of his head hanging as I heard footsteps start to walk away from me, before the sound of the door opening and closing. I gulped harshly, trying to swallow the tears but failing as I lay down on the sofa and sobbed into my hands, my brain trying to comprehend the idea that Will and I had just broken up. And after all of that, he had never even loved me.
