How Eternity Feels.
Marshall's POV
Every day since then, Flame Prince visited me; making sure I was coping okay. It's not like I could do anything about it, vampires are immortal. I can't just try again with another life, like every other soul. I will be here past the end of Aaa.
One day Flame visited, not long after the funeral, he brought a gift that was meant for Gumball. During the wedding party, I asked Flame to see what he can do about making a keyboard piano for Gumball, I stayed up that night making designs.
"So what should I do with this?" He asked, lifting the brand new, candy themed keyboard.
"Take it to the Candy Kingdom. I'm sure they'll appreciate the gesture." I sighed, not even looking in his direction before taking a swig of booze.
"Marshall. Are you okay? I don't think turning to alcohol will solve your problems. It may blur them, but they will hit you like a train when you sober up."
"Easy, just keep drinking. Then I won't ever have to face them" I shrugged.
"This isn't healthy. But I will respect the fact that you're going through a tough time."
"Tough? That's an understatement. More like agonising torture." I scoffed.
"... Just don't hurt yourself." Flame sighed, before leaving.
"..." I stayed silent.

"Marshall. Listen to me." I heard Flame state.
"What." I stated.
"The Candy Kingdom want you to lead them. You are the next of kin."
"Do you not see the drunken... *hic*... man before you? How can someone like me, take care of a... *hic*... kingdom?" I retorted sluggishly, waving my bottle of booze with half lidded eyes.
"I know. I see you. But I want to help you. Fix this mess you've made of yourself. What would Gumball think if he saw you like this, huh? He would want you to stay positive, not wallow in self pity!" He scolded.
"Hey don't bring Gumball into this, I don't want to hear it!" I yelled getting angry. I shouldn't be getting mad, but people do stupid things when they're upset.
"C-calm down Marshall, I'm sorry. I won't bring him up again." He soothed, trying to calm me down.
"Get out!" I continued.
"Okay, it's fine. Call me when you calm down." He replied, trying to keep his composure before leaving.
