Tachihara gets bullied
Ango's P.O.V
Never in my life did I ever think of Dazai being a father. He's always been unstable and usually caused more trouble than it was worth. Dazai had a dark side of himself that he would never let go because it was drilled deep into him since he was a child.
Chuuya was a bit more understandable. He had anger issues and usually acted before thinking but he had a soft spot for children. He use to run a whole organization of children before the joining the Port Mafia. He was more than capable of raising a child.
That's another thing that has me curious. Chuuya mentioned that she was possibly a creation of biochemistry through Dazai and him alone, but that would mean that there still would have needed to be a egg for the sperm to fertilize.
How come no DNA for anyone else was in her test?
"Mr. Sakaguchi, we found something!" Yelled one of the officers helping with the current case.
"There's no need to shout, I'm right here." I spoke plainly. I'll think about the situation of those two later. "What did you find?"
The officer stepped aside and what I saw left me confused. It was a little boy and girl, both with black hair and green eyes, sitting on the curb. They held each other's hands as the little girl rested her head on the boy's shoulder.
"These are children," I stated, looking at the officer.
He nodded nervously. "Yes, sir, but after you had walked away to deal with what that woman was talking about, these children asked if we could help them."
I looked back at them, both now staring at me. I sighed and took a step towards them before bending down on one knee and giving them my gentlest smile.
"What is it we can help you kids with?"
The little girl looked at the boy before answering. "We're supposed to be dead. I remember mommy telling us goodbye and that nanny and pop pop will take care of us."
"But now we're here because they told us the angel would be here," the boy added in.
"Supposed to be dead?" Murakoso asked before blowing a small bubble with her gum.
"And another mention of that angel all the others have been talking about." Aoki continued as he stood on the other side of me.
I adjusted my glasses as they began slipping down my nose. "Who told you that this angel would be here?"
The children looked at each other for a moment before turning to look at us again. "We don't remember what they looked like-" the boy started.
"But they called themselves Grimm," the girl finished for him.
I could practically hear Murakoso shuttering from behind me. She's had a problem with the telepathic twin communication thing since a case we worked two years ago.
The name then registered. Grimm? Where had I heard that before? It was name from a long time ago but I couldn't put my finger on where.
"Do you know anything else about the angel we've been hearing about?"
"Um." The girl tapped her chin as she thought. "Nothing other than she was around here."
"That doesn't simplify much," Aoki claimed, "there have been a lot of parents with infants around here."
It's a true statement but it had me thinking back to Dazai and Chuuya. It was odd how right after this case began, that Dazai and Chuuya would receive a random child made from their chromosomes.
It wasn't an ability since Dazai can touch her, so it raised the question of why she was given to them? Was it possible that the angel that all the resurrected people were talking about, was the child that the two of them now had?
It seemed to fit too well for it to be a coincidence. The Armed Detective Agency has been working with us to get the information so they should most likely know about the interviews and what was said by the people that came back.
"Excuse me, sir?" The little girl's voice broke through my train of thought. "Do you think we could go see our mommy? They said we wouldn't be here for long and that we should finish our business before we go away again."
"Go away again? What do you mean by that?"
They looked at each other once again. "We don't know. Probably to the dark place again." The boy stood, holding his hand out for his sister to take and pull herself up with a hop.
Most of the other cases mentioned that they were in a dark place too before coming back. It made sense since no one really knows what lied beyond death.
The thought saddened me as my mind flashed back to those nights at the bar Lupin with Dazai and Odasaku. I had betrayed their trust, but what hurt more than anything was hearing Odasaku telling me to leave.
He was always calm and collected, nothing seemed to phase him. He worked in the Port Mafia, yet he refused to kill anyone, living as a simple man doing the jobs no one else wanted in the organization.
Many of those jobs were life threatening, yet he'd complete them with ease. He didn't seem to fear death, much like Dazai didn't.
That's part of what made my betrayal to them hurt. I felt guilty, like I had taken part in Odasaku's death. I never wanted harm to befall him or Dazai but there wasn't anyway to know how it'd out.
I stood from where I had been kneeling down, sliding one hand into my pocket.
"Aoki, take them to their mom," I ordered, turning and walking from the scene. "I want to make sure they finish what they couldn't before they pass again."
If only I could have seen Odasaku one more time to apologize.

Chuuya P.O.V
"I can't believe you want to clean this room out today," Dazai complained as he swept the floor in the now semi-empty room.
"Quit your bitching, I moved most of the stuff out of the room." I stood in the doorway looking around, viewing the room that hasn't been used in years. "Besides, we agreed that we'd do it today."
Dazai huffed, pouting as he stretched his arms. "But why so early in the morning, baby? Miya hasn't even woken up yet."
I frowned. "I want to paint the walls a different color." I walked farther into the room, stopping in the middle. "I want something that's not too bright or too dark."
Arms wrapped around me from behind and a wall of warmth was pressed against my back. Dazai rested his head against mine, humming as he thought.
"Purple seems like her color, so how about a pastel purple? It's a soft color that's not too bright." Dazai pressed a kiss to my temple. "But there are other colors too."
I shook my head as I sunk back into him. "No," I hummed with a smile. "Pastel purple is perfect for our baby girl."
We stood like that for a few more minutes, discussing what furniture we needed and where it'd go. We only broke apart when a little cry sounded from our bedroom.
With one more kiss, this time on the lips, Dazai rested his forehead against mine. "I get Miya, you make breakfast and coffee?"
I smiled. "And a bottle."
He smiled, stepping back before turning and walking out the room to get Miyako. I followed out of the room, walking opposite as I heard Dazai talking to her.
I walked into the kitchen, grabbing out the coffee beans and baby formula from the cabinet before getting out two mugs and one of her new bottles.
I started with the coffee, scooping some of the coffee beans and dumping them in the grinder before starting with Miyako's bottle.
I added 4oz of water before adding two scoops of the powder. I put the lid on it, placing my index finger on the nipple before shaking it.
I walked over to the fridge and opened it to see what I could make for breakfast. I continued to shake the bottle as I looked until I hears knocking at the door.
I stopped, looking towards the front entrance hall. Who the hell was knocking on the door this early in the morning?
I closed the fridge and set the bottle on the counter. I could hear Dazai down the hall singing to Miya as he changed her, so he probably didn't hear it.
More knocks to the door. I approached the door cautiously but not completely engaged. I looked through the peep hole to see spiky red hair.
I rolled my eyes, unlocking the door and opening it up to see Tachihara as well as Gin.
"Who knocks on someone's door this early?" I asked, turning around and heading back towards the kitchen.
"You're an early bird, Chuuya. I knew you'd be awake," Tachihara smiled as he told a seat at one of the island stools with Gin taking a seat beside him.
I crossed my arms. "Doesn't mean I'm expecting guests, but it since you guys are here, want some coffee?"
"It'd be rude to decline." He smiled at Gin, who nodded to my question.
I scooped some extra beans in to the grinder and grabbed two more mugs. "What brings you guys here this morning?"
"You weren't at work yesterday," Gin softly said with a frown. "I asked my brother but he said he didn't know."
"We also asked Gramps but still no dice. Finally, I just asked the one person who knew you better than anyone in the Mafia." Tachihara frowned, "She says you're not going to be working for the next two months, but she wouldn't tell us why."
Damn it, Kouyou, why did you have to tell Tachihara I'd be out? At least she respected my privacy but not telling them.
It also gave me more respect for Hirotsu since he did actually know that I had a baby, but didn't tell them anything.
I'm honestly surprised Higuchi hasn't told them anything yet.
"Yeah, I have something more important to take care of so the boss gave me time off to focus on that."
"More important than the Port Mafia?" Gin asked with wide eyes.
"I didn't think anything would be more important to you than the Mafia," Tachihara added in.
"That was until he became a parent," a voice said from behind me. I turned and looked at Dazai, who carried Miyako, cradled in his arms as he entered the kitchen.
He smiled our guests. "Good morning! It's good to see you, Gin! I hope you're treating her well, Tachihara!"
"Uh, yeah, I am," he stuttered, staring at Dazai in disbelief.
I picked up the bottle I had made and stepped closer to Dazai and Miya. I pressed the nipple to her lips, making her eyes go half lidded as she began to drink.
"You two are parents?" Gin asked quietly. "A child between a member of the Port Mafia and member of the Armed Detective Agency?"
"Yep, our sweet, little Dazai Miyako," Dazai chirped, taking the bottle so I could finish the coffee.
Tachihara looked at me confused. "She's not taking your name?"
I shook my head as I poured honey into two of the mugs. "No, I wanted her to have Osamu's." I poured coffee into the cups before handing them theirs. "I have many reasons for why."
They nodded, both still seeming not to believe what they were seeing. It was fine, what mattered was they weren't insulting me or saying I couldn't be a parent.
The events of yesterday probably shouldn't have gotten to me like they did. The insults she made were cruel, saying that my child would be happier with different parents, saying that I couldn't do what I needed for her since I was gay.
Dazai didn't seem as bothered by it. He did get angry since the woman did try to grab our daughter after I had told her to leave alone.
"I mean she looks happy." I looked a Gin who had a slight smile on her face. "She's definitely in good hands with you two. She'll be taken care of and loved dearly."
I blinked, noticing something in her eyes as she stared at Miyako. Was that longing? If I didn't know any better, I would have assumed that Gin wanted a baby.
It was actually a reassuring thought. Tachihara had mentioned wanting a family on a few occasions and he was deeply in love with Gin. I could see them starting a family, the only thing about that was that Akutagawa was a little protective over Gin at times.
"How long have you had her?" Tachihara took a sip of his coffee.
"Technically, three days." I set Dazai's coffee on the counter in front of him. "The first day was more like I didn't know what to do with her."
"What do you mean? Did you adopt her?"
"She's actually ours biologically. I took her to the boss and had a DNA test ran on her after I found her in our bedroom alone." I ran my knuckles down her cheek, watching as one of her little hands came up.
I smiled, looking at the blue little mitten on her hand that matched the rest of her little outfit. "We didn't want to abandon her just because we didn't know where she came from."
"That's odd, but I mean, you're all happy with it, does it really matter where she came from if you two are going to love her no matter what?" Tachihara smiled. "I do want to know if she has godparents or not though and if I'm one of th-"
"Kouyou and Hirotsu," I answered quickly, looking at Dazai.
"Kunikida and Yosano for me." He removed the bottle from her mouth, maneuvering her so he could pat her back to burp her. "I think Atsushi would be like her uncle. He likes kids and they tend to like him."
"That seems fair." I took a slip of coffee, looking back at Tachihara who had his cheeks puffed out. "Cheer up, if she likes you when she turns one, you can be an uncle."
I turned my attention back to my boyfriend. "Speaking of birthdays. Dazai, we don't really know her date of birth. How are we going celebrate her birthdays?"
He seemed to think about it. "I guess we can celebrate it on the day we got her." He stopped patting Miya's back, changing it into a rubbing motion as she buried her face in his neck. "So, September the 19th? The day she became our daughter."
I couldn't help but smile. "Yeah, that can be her birthday."
"I expect a personal invite to her birthday party!" Tachihara exclaimed with excitement.
I laughed, "Sure, I'll be sure to have it hand delivered last."
He smiled, leaning back with his hands folded behind his head. "The best for last."
Just as I was expecting, he fell backwards into the floor. I made sure to save his coffee by activating my ability and making his mug levitate.
Dazai and I laughed as he stood up, both of us hiding our smiles behind the rims of our mugs.
"Damn, that hurt." He rubbed the back of his head as he sat back down on his stool. "Could have said something while I was leaning back."
"And miss that? No way," I teased as Dazai stepped closer to me.
I looked up at him as he stood next to me. He sipped his coffee, slightly bouncing Miya who I guess had fallen asleep with her arms folded between her and Dazai.
"Babies sleep so damn much." I moved some of her little wisps from her face, making her nose scrunch a little.
"I mean, there isn't much they can do, my love," Dazai said as he looked into my eyes. "I'm going to lay her down, you can entertain your company."
His lips pressed against mine in a sweet kiss, making me tilt my head back to press against him more.
My eyes were open so I was able to see from my peripheral vision as the mug I had levitating fell into Tachihara's hands and a few of the drops splashed out onto his hand.
"Ow! That's still hot!"
I smiled, laughing as I broke the kiss. Dazai's smile was big as he watched me.
He loved making me laugh, just as much as he enjoyed pissing me off. He liked to get a reaction when he does something, like the affect it has on me.
"I'm going to lay her down now." He moved to walk past me, only to be stopped by me grabbing his sleeve.
"Can I lay her down? I haven't held her yet this morning," I asked, looking up at him before looking at Miyako he shifted slightly to get more comfortable.
He smiled, placing his hand on her head -which was much smaller in comparison- before transferring her into my arms.
She shifted, her little mitten covered hand trying to grab my shirt but not being able to grip it.
I started down the hall to the bedroom as I heard Tachihara mention something about a headache. I walked into the bedroom and over to her bed that was on Dazai's side, laying her down. I pulled her blanket over her, even though I already knew she was going to kick it off herself.
I sat on the bed and watched her. We had put her on Dazai's side of the bed so if anyone came in while we were asleep, they'd have to come all the way around to get to her.
Not to mention I was a heavy sleeper so most of the time she cries, it doesn't register and wake me. Dazai, however, always wakes up to get her.
I had brought it up, feeling bad, but he waved it off saying that I've been taking care of her during the day so it's fair that he takes care of her during the night so I can sleep.
I ran my fingers over his cheek, her head tilting towards my touch. She was so small, even for a newborn.
It made me wonder, was I ever this small when I was a baby? Did my hair come down in little red wisps or did it not grow until later?
These were things I wanted to badly to know but couldn't, I had no one from that time to ask. I wondered what my own father was like, what my mother was like. Did I have siblings? How many older, how many younger than me? Who did I look like more between my parents?
Why didn't they ever coming looking for me? Why was it the only memories I have were only from eight years old and on?
Did they miss me? Where they even still alive?
I felt the tightening in my chest. It wasn't the first time I considered these questions, they've always been one's I've asked myself.
"Chuuya?" Dazai's voice was quiet as he walked in through the doorway. I let out a sniffle. "Baby, you okay?"
I looked up at him as he walked around the side of the bed. He frowned, sinking down to one knee as he cupped my face in his hands. "You're crying, sweetheart. What's wrong?"
His thumbs caressed my cheeks, comforting me. "I was thinking about what my parents might have been like again."
He hummed, nodding as he looked me in the eyes. His brown eyes held no judgement, only reassurance in the form of carmel and hazelnut.
It was easy to get distracted and lost in them. Before I knew what I was doing, I was leaning down to kiss him.
He pushed up into the kiss, deepening it as he stood up and gently pushed my back down onto the bed. My arms come up to wrap around his neck naturally as my legs wrap around his waist.
His hands moved down to my waist, sliding under me before moving up to support the arch of my back, pressing me against his chest. He tilted his head, deepening the kiss much more.
I hummed as I remembered something. I let out a quiet hum, pulling on Dazai's hair in a way to tell him to stop. He did, he pulled back slightly, looking down at me questioningly.
"Michizou and Gin, are they still-" I started breathlessly.
Dazai nipped at my jaw. "I actually came in here to tell you that they were called in for work and that Tachihara said he'll call you later." He sucked gently on the area where the jaw met the neck, making me let out a soft moan.
"Osamu, you know we can't have sex with her in here." I ran my fingers through his hair, not really stopping him as he kissed up the side of my face.
"I know, but that's not going to stop me from kissing you and making you feel good."
I rolled my eyes, a smile tugging at the corners of my lips. "Whatever you say, but if you get hard, you're relieving yourself in the bathroom down the hall."
He chuckled before sealing his lips with mine again. I melted into the touch of someone I know will always be there when I needed him. The warmth, love, and reassurance of the man I called mine.
I don't know why but I wanted to bully Tachi.
So, currently, I can probably update every other weekend but that is to be determined.
I hope you guys enjoyed this chapter, writer's block has been a bitch lately and ADHD has decided to move in without paying rent.
I think once the story really starts to pick up, I should have a normal schedule... maybe.
Anyway, I hope you all have a wonderful morning, noon, and night! Bye!
