It was a 4 page letter and I recognised the writing as Y/n's.

This is why she told me to see of all the papers were inside.

I was about to start reading it when my phone rang. I kept the letter back in the file and took my phone.

It was Daniel.

Me: Hello.

Daniel: Told ya.

Me: Get to the point.

Daniel: Alright alright Mr. Straightforward. I'll tell you everything. Meet me at xxx cafe tomorrow at 11.

Me: I can't. I have work.

Daniel: Skip it.

Me: I won't.

Daniel: The meeting can be postponed Jimin but the later you listen to me the more you will get hurt.

I thought about it and agreed.

Jimin: Okay.

I said and hung up. Then I texted Y/n

Talk to Mr. Lee if the meeting can be postponed. I can't come in the morning.

Why? Something wrong?

No, I just need to go with Dad to the hospital for regular checkup.

Oh okay. But the meeting can't be postponed. Mr. Lee would be leaving the city late at night tomorrow but you don't need to worry. I'll handle everything :)

Okay.

Have you checked the file by the way?

I am doing it.

Oh okay. And I have a copy so you don't need to send it to the office.

Okay.

I kept the phone back and went for doing my night routine thinking I will read the letter after that but I totally forgot about it.

NEXT DAY

I was sitting in the cafe for Daniel to come.

Daniel: Hey bro!

I looked up to Daniel who had a cheerful smile plastered on his face.

Me: Hello.

Daniel: *fake pouts* Such a boring hello?

He said while sitting in front of me.
I rolled my eyes at his comment.

Jimin: Get to the point.

Daniel: Alright alright. Let's start from the beginning.

Y/n and I were in the same college. She used to be a shy nerd at that time or atleast that's what she showed. And as you know I was the college heartthrob.

One day she came upto me showing me a few pics which were definitely edited but it looked real and those pics were mine. She threatened me to propose her in front of the whole college or else she would leak those pictures.

No matter how much I tried but she didn't buzz a bit so I did as she said. But I never felt in love with her. She continued with her act of being all shy and under confident in front of everyone. Then she told me to start buying expensive gifts for her. I refused and she blackmailed. I had no option but to do what she was saying.

One day we were playing  this game of truth and dare where I was dared to kiss my crush. And I did that but she saw it and she acted in front of everyone that she is heartbroken which was not true. She was never in love with me. She was just behind my money.

After making me the villain of her love life, she again started to force me to come in a relationship with her saying that she actually fell for me and was now obsessed with me. When I refused, she mixed something in my drink and forced me to go to bed with her.

She laid us down in a particular position and took our photos so that she can again blackmail me. We didn't do anything, of course, but the pictures were enough for blackmailing me.

But I was not gonna fall in her trap again. I somehow managed to get those photos and leaked the same. The good part about the photos was that she was on me which clearly showed that she was the one who was trying to do it, not me.

After the photos were leaked she tried to put all blame on me but of.course the truth was already out. She filed a complain against me saying that I was the one who did it but she was proven wrong. When everyone in the college started hating her, she left the college and the city and moved elsewhere and to regain her lost respect she started youtube.

She was never interested in youtube, which you might know by now. She just started it so that her respect would be back and it happened. She even takes people to expensive restaurants now so that noone would ever think she could be a gold digger.

Noone remembers what she did to me and everyone loves her because she is a public figure. And because of this she is back to her real self. She will use your money in a way you won't even realise. She will start off by asking you to pay for small things. She is just gonna use you bro and nothing else.

She will use your money and then throw you away if you are drained of it. If you still not believe me then here are the pictures.

He said while handing me the phone.
I was shocked to see the pics and the way they were taken, I was sure they couldn't be edited. I couldn't say anything so I just stood up and left.

Back at home I was still processing what Daniel just said. I didn't believe him.. I didn't want to believe him but his story somewhat appeared to be true.

You: Love can be obsessing.

She said that because she has experienced it...

Jimin: Yaah! I told you my reason. Why cant you share yours?
You: Because I don't want to talk about it.

She didn't want to talk about it because she knew she did wrong...

You: Yeah and I thought and decided it. It wasn't my cup of tea.
Jimin: Then why did you started it at the first place?
You: That doesn't matter anymore. Why can't you support me in my decision Jimin?

She said she wasn't interested in youtube but she never told me why she took it up at the first place then...

You brought Jimin to an expensive restaurant.

She did bring me to an expensive restaurant and said she wanted to prove she is not a gold digger...

Me: Is that you? Do you know him?
Her expression changed into a shock one and she somewhat started sweating.

She started sweating probably thinking that her real identity was already revealed to me...

Y/n: If someone says bad about me, don't trust him. Hmm?

She said that because she knew she did something wrong and didn't want me to find out about it...

You: You are going to pay for the tickets.

She did said that in a playful manner but I never thought she was starting to use my money for small things...

I wasn't furious.. I was hurt. I was hurt a lot. I couldn't believe that the only girl I ever loved would turn out like that. I felt like my life was being drained away from me. Just then a text popped up.

Y/n: The meeting went quite well Jimin so don't worry about it. Anyway, what did the doctor say about Mr. Park's health?

Fake.

Me: I don't wanna be with a gold digger Y/n. Let's break up.

Y/n: Is this a prank Jimin?

Me: Stop pretending that you don't understand Y/n! I won't believe you. Daniel told me everything!

So this was the real Y/n? This is what her past was? All of her actions show the same, don't they?

Who would have thought Y/n would turn out like that😓

What will happen next? And wait.. What was in the letter? What did Y/n want to tell Jimin?
