The warmth of the morning breeze caressed his face, making him frown. Opening his eyes slowly Ashwin looked at tgeb bright blue sky through the window.

It resembled his life in the past, so bright, so peaceful and so sane. Those golden days keep hunting him now and he has no idea until when they are going to hunt him.

'Why all these unwanted thoughts in the morning itself?' his mind questioned.

And he knows the answer. It's because her. All these changes from oversleeping in the morning and this useless thoughts, It's her who is responsible, Aparna.

clearing her thoughts off his mind Ashwin got freshen up for his work. Going to work ment only one thing form now on. He is going to be with her, feeling her presence around.

'you should have dropped this idea when you saw her. Your sanity is important than that godamn deal' his conscious spoke.

But Ashwin knows one thing, but taking this risk he is going to end up in Making one choice which bothering him for years.

In the end he will either hate her with his whole heart or he will forgive and forgot her. But Ashwin determined not to struggle between these two once again.

Entering into his cabin Ashwin looked opposite to his cabin only to find her seriously working in her laptop. There was an innocence in her face, but Ashwin knows that he shouldn't let her innocence fool him.

Yet her can't help buy admire the beauty infront of him. She was always beautiful to him, but this time there is something different.

She looked different, she is nothing like the teenager he knows, she is not the same crazy person he knew. She is matured and beautiful in a unique way. Her braided hair, her saree, her big earrings, the small black dot on her forehead, that lips without lipstick, everything is different and uniquely beautiful.

Ashwin slapped himself mentally for admiring her instead of hating her. Taking a sigh he dailed her through the intercom and within a minute he heard her knock his door.

"Come in, Ms. Aparna" he said with a smirk.

"Sir, how can I help you now?" she asked politely. Her politeness is something weird for him.

"Get me all the project files and also get me a cup of coffee" he said in an authoritive voice and she just nodded.

"sir, your coffee" she placed his cup in the table after few minutes and he did saw her struggling with a pile of files.

"Place them here and take SR construction files and enter all details in the system and mail me that" he said and she nodded.

He expected her to say something. There is no way for her to know what to do. Ashwin knows her qualification and he knows what she was doing before. He gave her the work she has no idea about and the confidence in her eyes shocked him.

'she is not supposed to be this confident' his mind knows that but he didn't expressed anything.

Within an hour, the mail reached his account and Ashwin was surprised. But he called her to his cabin again! This time, he had no plans to torment her.

He just wanted to confirm whether she is the same girl he knows. She felt different, entirely different.

Aparna signed when her intercom ringed second time that day. She knows who that is, without even lifting.

she rolled her eyes when she heard that "get in" form him. On the thousand things that changed in him, the attitude didn't changed.

"Sir, now what should I do?" she tried to sound polite. Among every feeling she had for him, anger had a big place. She has no idea wheather she hates him or not. But she was damn sure that her heart is angry with him.

For turning her down, for not trusting when she needed him the most, for not being at her side when she needed a support, she can never forgive him.

"There is a meeting in an hour and I I want you to prepare a presentation before that and I will mail you the details" he said and she nodded her head.

She knows, It's hard to prepare and presentation within an hour, but she don't want to say that to him. She don't want him to look down on her at all. She has to work hard, she will do that but won't fail infront of him at all. She will never became a idiot to his eyes.

There Was a time when she loved being a idiot, a lobe sick idiot for his eyes, but not this time.

Taking sigh and emptying her mind she started to work knowing that she has a lot to do within ah hour.

Suddenly she heard a knock in her door and lifted her chin and found a girl in her mid 20's standing there.

"Aparna right! I'm Kartika, here to help you with the presentation" her words made Aparna smile.

She badly wanted someone to help her then. And Kartika was very efficient. She made Aparna's work much easier.

"Thank you so much Kartika you helped me a lot today. Are you working here, I never saw you here?" Aprana asked and she nodded.

"I joined here a year back Aprana" she smiled.

"And you are new to this floor right! Join me for lunch today is my treat. I will be waiting for you in canteen" she said and Aparna smiled.

For the first time in five years, someone asked her to join them to lunch. With his arrival, she felt everything around him changing. But she has no idea weather this change is for good or not.

The ringtone of her mobile gained her attention and she smiled when she saw Ajay's name on the screen. She know that he must be worried about her.

"You are okay right? If you are not okay don't stress Aparna, just resign" he sounded concerned.

"I'm okay Ajay. I know that, I'm vulnerable at times, but I'm strong now. And I will be okay. Stop worrying about me and go and teach your students how to use a CRO" he laughed at her last statement.

"Take care Aparna, and don't forgot to eat your lunch okay" he said before hanging up. Aparna has no idea what her life would be if Ajay was not there for her at the worst phase of her life.

She then mailed Ashwin her presentation and waited her intercom to ring. And within a minute her intercom rang.

"The presentation is okay Ms. Aprana. Just make sure to take a extra print of the details and arrange the conference room" he said and she nodded.

There is nothing more between them. The tension between them in the morning faded away with time, as they felt like just a boss and employees. He orders her and she complete his orders. There is nothing more. And they both wanted this only.

The meeting was good and even though he hated to accept the reason he knows that Aparna's presentation was the reason for the success of that meeting.

He looked at her cabin through his and found her cabin empty, just like his life now.

'Emptiness and loniliness is nothing new to you Ashwin' his mind spoke.

That is true right. His life form the beginning is just a road of thrones. It as her who filled it with rose petals, and healed his wounds, only to make him suffer more in tbe future.

Ashwin, born in an upper middle class family, doesn't knows anything about tbe politics of the rich world.

All he believed is hard work is going to lead you through success, until he tasted his first success.

Ashwin invested his hard work and happiness in his bussiness. He spend his youth working hard to achive his goal. And after three years, when he is 25 years old, he got his first title, "Young business man of the year 2014"

The title that changed his world. With that award, he became a spotlight in business world, he got friends, he got partners, he got new clients and also many unknown emimies, who wanted to take him down by any means. Apart from everything else, that title gave him, her.

He met her for the first time there, when she was just a 20 year old crazy rich girl. Even though Ashwin wanted to avoid her thoughts, he can't help but think about one of the most precious day of his life when he met her for the first time.

Ashwin Rajagopalan! Give your big hands to Mr. Ashwin everyone' the MC announced and Ashwin's eyes widened in n happiness.

The claps around him gave him a unique sensation. With his mind filled with happiness he climed that stage, not knowing that it was going to change his life forever.

"Congratulations young man" he heard someone saying during the dinner and found a man in his 50's standing there. He do know that man, he is one of the top ten richest person of state, Mr. Ramakrishnan.

"It's a pleasure meeting you sir, I'm great admirer of yours" Ashwin forwarded his hand for a handshake.

"I'm impressed with your harwork young man, hope that we will be working together on some projects" his words made his lips curve in a smile. Ashwin always wanted to do business with this one man.

They talked about various things like business, politics and Ashwin knows that, the good contact with this man can bring him many good. Their conversation was peaceful until he heard a shout

"Dad! I'm getting late will you come now or what?" he heard a shout and saw a girl behind him.

"don't take her seriously, she is my only daughter, Aparna. She is a silly girl who do things like this oft-" before he could finish he saw her coming towards them.

"Dad! Finally someone young and handsome in your old people group. Tell me, whose son is he?" Aparna asked not minding his presence before them.

"He is self made business man da, Don't you know him he is Ashwin Rajagopalan" he said and she nodded her head.

"Nice to meet you" she forwarded her hands with a smile and he shook hands with her.

"She is doing her undergraduate now, crazy girl. All she knows is to sing and to enjoy with her friends. I have no idea how I'm going to hand over my business to her" Ramakrishnan said and she made a funny pout.

"then find Someone like this Ashwin as your son-in-law to maintain your business along with his" she laughed before walking to the ice cream counter.

"Don't take her seriously, Ashwin she is just a baby and talks nonsense all the time" he smiled.

That's true though. She is crazy, she is silly but she is just a small child form her mind.

Coming out of that memory, Ashwin cursed himself for forgetting his works in her thoughts. But he knows that he can't stop himself form thinking about her when she is going to be infront of him all day.
