Let me start the chapter

The sun rises brightly reminding everyone about their daily work. Abhi was sleeping in his bed. He felt a feather rubbing his ears.

First, he ignored it. Again, he had the same feeling. He tried to catch the person's hand. The hand was soft like a flower petal. Abhi's lips curved a smile. He opens his eyes and sees his daughter playing with feathers.

Pari: Good morning, papa...

Abhi lies, resting his head on her lap and starts his sleep again.

Pari: Offo, papa becomes lazy....get up

Abhi: Pari, just for two minutes...

Pari: Papa, no two minutes get up...

Abhi: What I'm going to do Pari? Let me sleep in your soft lap...

Pari: Papa, get ready office.....

Abhi pretends to be shock hearing his daughter.

Abhi: oh, why I have to go to the office?

Pari: No go, we go...

Abhi gets surprised by hearing his daughter.

Pari: To meet auntie...

Then Abhi remembers Pragya. He can see an unknown pain in her eyes. He tries to avoid her, but destiny plans something opposite to his wish.

Abhi: No, Pari, I'm not coming...

Pari pouts. Abhi cannot say no to his daughter. So, he accepted her wish. Abhi calls Purab and asked him to call Pragya and tell her to meet him. Purab was overwhelmed with excitement. He called Pragya and informed her about her meeting with Abhi. Pragya knows that Abhi didn't call her in his own wish. Then also she accepted.

Unknown happiness filled in Abhi's heart. He composed himself and pretend to be arrogant. He bids bye to Tanu saying that he is taking Pari with him.

After entering his office, everyone greeted him, but his eyes searched for only one person. Purab chuckles seeing his restlessness.

Purab: Abhi, she is on the way. You go to your cabin, once she comes, I will send her inside.

Abhi nods as yes and goes inside whereas Pari followed him. Suddenly Pari heard the door opening sound. Pari's lips curved a smile. She ran and hugged the Person. It is non-other than Pragya. She hugged her in return. Everyone witnessed the scene. Purab felt happy seeing their bond. Abhi had mixed feeling. Pragya kissed Pari's hair.

Pari: Auntie...

Pragya: Hi, darling.... how are you?

Pari: Pari fine, you.....

Pragya: Fine, what are you doing here?

Pari: Came with Papa, to thank you...

Pragya: Oh really

Pari: Pari like you...

Pragya: Oh, me too...

They both hugged each other. Pragya noticed Abhi's expression.

Pragya's pov: What are you doing Pragya? Control yourself.....

Pragya breaks the hug and kisses Pari's forehead. Pari kisses Pragya's cheeks and goes with Purab. Pragya stares at Abhi. Abhi gestures her to come in. Both of them entered the room. There was an unusual silence prevailed. Abhi breaks the silence without looking at her eyes.

Abhi: Ms...

Pragya: Pragyasree...

Abhi: Han, um......um....thank you for helping my daughter. I don't know what would have happened if you didn't reach there at the right time.

Pragya: No need of thanks, sir. And did you called me to ask thanks?

Abhi lifted his head and met her eyes. Her eyes again conveyed some unknown pain, love and care. He just got mesmerized in those eyes.

He came out when he heard a knock on his door. He excused and open the door. He saw Pari standing out, keeping her hands in her hip.

Abhi: Darling...

Pari ordered: Lift Pari...

Purab chuckles seeing Pari ordering Abhi. Abhi glares at Purab and lifts Pari.

Pari: Go to auntie...

Abhi nods as a good boy and nears Pragya. Pragya smiles witnessing the scene.

Pari: Papa, auntie your pa, pls.

Abhi doesn't know what to say. He cannot deny her wish. After thinking for a while.

Abhi: Will you be happy?

Pari nods as yes. For her daughter, Abhi accepted Pragya as his P.A. Pragya was overwhelmed in joy. After spending some time with Pari, Pragya goes to Purab's cabin to get her appointment letter. Purab gave her an appointment letter. While she was moving, Purab gets a call. He attends the call. He gets shocked by hearing the news.

He said Pragya to leave and went to Abhi's cabin. Abhi was checking some papers whereas Pari was sleeping, hugging Abhi and resting her head on his chest. Abhi gestured Purab to be silent and made Pari sleep on the sofa. Abhi took Purab to his cabin.

Purab: Abhi, a shocking truth...

Abhi: Why are you this much tensed? First, say me the matter.

Purab: Abhi, we filed a case for Pragya's death na...

Abhi: Han, but they said that it is an accident and the case was solved before itself na...

Purab: Abhi, I said to the commission to investigate this case secretly because I had a doubt in it...

Abhi: What? Why you didn't say me this before itself?

Purab: Because I had only doubt. I was not sure. So only I kept it as a secret...

Abhi: So, now why you are saying it to me?

Purab: Commissioner called me now. He didn't say anything clearly, but he said that......

Abhi: What he said?

Purab: It is not an accident. It is a murder attempt...

Abhi was hell shocked hearing this. His eyes became red in anger. He breaks the glass table with his hands in anger. Purab was taken back seeing Abhi furious. But he knows that this will happen. He said that the commissioner wants to meet him. Abhi went out without saying anything. He was in the peak of anger. If anyone comes in front of him, he will burn them. While he was crossing his cabin, he saw Pari sleeping on the sofa. He went inside, hugged her and started to cry. Pragya witnessed it with tears.
