Linh's POV:
She lied on her bed looking at the ceiling which was painted blue the exact colour of the ocean.She really missed Tam she always used to talk to him about things now she couldn't talk to anyone.

She just didn't feel like talking to any of her friends,as they would only pity her it was a good thing that it was holidays for now but in the next few weeks Foxfire would start again.Around her friend she pretended to be strong and like everything was fine e but when she was alone at night it was the hardest for her.

Sophie had told her that she tried to contact Tam on multiple times but he had only answered once and to say that he was in able to talk at that moment.Linh had no idea what she was gonna do.But she had to act brave and help find a way to finish the Neverseen off once and for all.

Sometimes she just used to go to a deserted cove by the sea and sit there all day looking at the water and playing with it.Shaping it into all different objects even once trying to form it into something that looked like Tam.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~2 Weeks Later ~~~~~~~~~~~~

Sophie's POV:
Sophie ran around her room trying to get ready Foxfire was starting again today.She was happy but now how were they gonna even work on getting closer to finding the Neverseen not that they'd had much progress or in fact any progress since Tam had left.

The thing that made her feel more sad was Tam he wouldn't be with them.Every night she would try and transmit to him and she could feel that he heard her but blocked her everytime.

"Miss.Foster are you ready to go" Sandor's squeaky vice came through the door."Yeah one second"Sophie said pulling on her ankle boots.Sophie walked out of her room and..."Dex?..what are you doing here?"Sophie said on seeing her strawberry blond haired best friend standing next to Sandor."The triplets were making a huuuge noise and giving me a headache which is not new and I did not want to be at school suuuuper early soo I just came here"Dex said with a dimpled smile.

Sophie and Dex went up to the Fourth floor and yelled "Foxfire" and the light whisked them away to their first day of school.

Tam's POV:
Life with the Neverseen was difficult for Tam he had to study Umber's journals and train on how to use shadowflux he had to always worry if all his friends were fine.And the food the Neverseen had was disgusting and made him wanna puke.

Most of all Tam missed Linh they had always been together from they were younger but now who knows for how long they'd be apart would they ever be able to be together will he ever have to fight her?.All the time these questions had gone through his head.

Tam had also felt Sophie trying to contact him every night but he blocked her he could not have the Neverseen finding out anymore of the Black Swan's secret not after Gethen had probed his mind and found out almost EVERYTHING, so he would just have to hope they were getting closer to defeating the Neverseen.

Tam always met up to train with Neverseen members but they always wore cloaks and used code names and all they did was tell him what to do and then leave.But there was one girl her code name was Roxy she still had not told Tam her real name but she was the only one that Tam could actually have a conversation with she was not like the other members of the Neverseen and she had told Tam a secret...

Her secret was that when she was born she had a twin but her parents didn't want anyone to know that so they had taken her away and put her with the Neverseen.She never liked being with Neverseen and never helped them with anything.She was rebellious loved to tell jokes not at all like the other members.She had even let Tam read her shadow vapour and it was not a lot at all.

She and Tam had grown quite close but Tam still wasn't sure if he could trust her.But today she was gonna tell Tam who her twin was"Hey Tam"she said walking into the training arena."Hey Roxy"Tam said with a rare smile he also called her."So today I'm finally going to tell you who my twin is I hope you'll still want to be my friend after I tell you,and I think I should also tell you my real name and show you how I look"she said her nervousness evident in her voice."Well I can't promise anything but let's see"Tam told her."Okay....."she took a deep breath"Here it goes my twin is......"
