Sophie's POV:

"I thought I would finally be able to see Tam" Linh said sadly plopping down onto the couch in the lounge.

"Sorry Linh" Marella said seating herself besides Linh and side hugging her.

"I wonder what secret Tam found out " Sophie pondered.

"It's probably gonna be a fake secret and my mum just wants us to think that its super important so we'll waste out time thinking about that." Keefe said.

"That'd most likely" Sophie agreed and smiled at Keefe.

"I wish we could find a way to get out of this room and explore the rest of the place " Linh said suddenly determined.

"Maybe we could" Marella suggested pointing to the open windows "looks like Lady Gisela made a small mistake".

" Good idea" Sophie said getting up and heading towards the window with Keefe following.

But as soon as they leaned over the window to look down they were shocked.And were sent flying backwards into the wall almost like how Sophie and Fitz had in the first splotching match in Foxfire.

But surprisingly both Sophie and Keefe managed to stand up. "Well that was weird" Keefe commented and then he fell back down.

And suddenly all of Sophie's limbs felt heavy then she felt her body sinking to the ground and then her body went limp. 'What is happening to me' Sophie thought.

Grady's POV:

Grady could not believe he had just aggreed to let Sophie and her friends live with the Neverseen for three days. But he did not have time to dwell about this he needed to get back to Havenfield come up with a cover story and tell Edaline what actually happen.

Grady turned to Elwin "You need to keep this a complete secret" he said.

"Anything to protect Sophie" Elwin replied.

"Good,then I'll hail you when we have the cover story so if anyone asks you'll have the answer" Grady said before holding up his leaping crystal and dissapearing into the light.

Once he arrived at Havenfield he headed straight toward the house. He needed to inform Edaline of what had transpired with Lady Gisela.

"Grady!!!" Edaline exclaimed rushing over to the door as soon as he came in "Where's Sophie?" she asked when noticing no one came in after him.

"I think you should be sitting down to hear this" Grady said leading Edaline over to the couch and sitting down next to her. Once Grady explained everything Edaline looked as white as a sheet. "Once thing is we need to find a cover story so that no one finds out what actually happened" Grady added.

Edaline nodded "Do you haven't any ideas?" She asked her voice trembling slightly.

" Not one" Grady said with a frustrated sigh.

Edaline started " Maybe..." Then she trailed off and became lost in thought. Though some of colour was coming back to her face.

Grady nodded "Maybe " he promped.

"We could say that they were training and that Sophie somehow got cut. So her friends took her to the healing center. And if anyone asks Elwin anything he can say that he treated Sophie and then they left. And after that no one knows what happen" Edaline said suddenly smiling.

"That's a brilliant idea" Grady said. "And thank you for handling all of this so well" he added.

Suddenly there was a knock at the door. Grady looked at Edaline "You hail Elwin and explain what's going on. I'll go and see whose at the door" he said getting up and walking towards the door.

"Umm… Fitz what are you doing here?" Grady asked as he opened the door and was confronted with the youngest Vacker son dressed very formerly.

"Oh… Grady… I umm… came to pick Sophie up for our date tonight" Fitz said nervously fitgeting with his clothes.

"What date?" Grady asked wondering why Sophie didn't mention anything to him.

"I was supposed to take Sophie on a date to Atlantis today" Fitz answered.

"Well sorry but she's not hone" Grady said beginning to close the door.

"Wait where is she then?" Fitz asked.

Grady sighed but quickly relayed the whole fake story to him without letting him enter the house as to give Examine time to explain what was going on to Elwin.

" Oh no!!! We should call Elwin" Fitz said pushing past Grady and into the house.

Fitz then pulled out his imparter "Call Elwin" he said.

"Hello Fitz, something wrong?" Elwin asked answering cheerfully.

"Yes" Fitz said. "Are Sophie and the others still with you?" He asked.

"No,they left a while ago" Elwin said. "Why are they not there?" he questioned.

"Just come over to Havenfield" Fitz said cutting the call. Them he hailed Biana, Mr.Forkle and Dex.

After everyone had arrived and Grady explained the entire fake story pandemonium broke out.

"Did you try hailing them?". "Oh no this is horrible". " Did they have their Bodyguards with them?". "Maybe we can track their registery pendants".

Grady interuppted them " Yes we did try hailing them but non of them are answering.And of course they had there Bodyguards with them" he answered.

"I'm going to check their registry feed right now" Mr.Forkle said pulling a small weird cube out of his pocket. He then slid pieces off the cube until there were 4 small squares which he then pushed together making a screen.

"Cool what kind of technology was used to make thus thing?" Dex asked looking at the gadget with fascination.

"I don't know ask Tinker" Mr.Forkle answered.

"Did the council allow you to access the registry feed?" Biana asked.

"No not really" Mr.Forkle said before switching on the screen.

Suddenly 4 dots appeared on the screen. "That's them" Mr.Forkle pointed out.
The four dots moved forward,left,right and backwards but stayed in the same place.

"Do you think they…fighting?" Fitz asked.

"Looks like it" Grady answered.

Suddenly all four dots surged backwards at the same time and then they stayed in one place for a second then they… were falling lower and lower and lower until they stopped and did not move again.

"Did they just fall of a cliff?" Biana asked her eyes wide and voice scared.

"Impossible they couldn't all fall at the same time and Sophie's a teleporter so she would not hit the ground" Dex pointed out.

"But what if they have a way to restrict her abilities and don't the Neverseen have a Buster" Biana pointed out.

"We don't know for certain that it's the Neverseen who did this" Fitz said.

"Because any other elf would do something like this" Biana said in a sarcastic voice. Then she turned to Mr.Forkle "Were they fighting on a cliff?" she asked.

Mr.Forkle quickly checked something on his screen before nodding grimly " Yes" he said.

Woohooo another chapter done.Also plz don't kill me. Also plz answer the questions so I don't look stupid.

Coz in my notebook this was supposed to be like 700 hundred words and now its over 1000.
