"You failed the test Clifford" Mr. Dopery said as he putted down Michael's grade onto his desk.

"I guess you failed to educate me" Michael said as he had his usual clowny smirk attached to his face. The whole class turned their attention to the two now.

"Are you talking back to me Clifford?" Mr. Dopery said as he crossed his arms.

"Well yeah, that's how a conversation works sir" Michael said. The whole class started laughing.

Calum only thought he was annoying and huffed. Michael always had to be the funny one, didn't he?

"Detention" Mr. Dopery said sternly and walked further down the class to give people their tests and results back.

Calum still wondered. What did Michael even do when Luke and him saw the tall boy by the door last Friday?

Calum was too afraid to ask the boy. Maybe it was also because he was in a bad mood today.

For some reason Calum felt mesmerized by the boy sitting across from his left. He admired his tattoos and eyebrow piercing. He kinda looked..pretty.

By now Michael had died his hair to a flaming red colour. He looked so pretty, oh so pretty, but sadly Michael was the complete oppisite of Calum.

Michael was loud, was cracking jokes all the time, always had to talk back and was always late or he got detention and was so full of himself. Gosh! Calum just found him so annoying! And if he had to be honest, he had found him rude.

"Hey Luke?" Calum whispered to his best friend, not taking his eyes off of Michael.

"Don't you think Michael is a little rude to people?" Calum whispered.

Luke chuckled. "Actually Calum, he had been asking a lot about you to me when you were gone..sooo" Luke said.

"What? R-Really?" Calum said as he felt his cheeks turn a red colour. A small smile appeared on Calum's face.

"Mhm" Luke asured. "Why didn't you tell me this sooner!" Calum whispered aggresivly.

"What, it's not like you have a crush on rude boy...now do you?" Luke asked and smirked.

"No!" Calum said as he immidiately felt offended. "Gosh no, he's so annoying and..and has got to always talk back.." Calum said. He was lying to himself.

"Oh yeah so so annoying" Luke said as he mimicked Calum sarcastically.

"Oh shut it!" Calum said as he gave Luke a death glare. Luke started laughing.

Calum looked at the blonde girl who was sat next to Michael in homeroom.

Did Michael like her? Were they together? She sure was pretty. Did Michael prefer blondes? Was Michael even into guys? Probably not.

Calum sighed as he turned back to his math homework. He didn't want to make his homework, he wanted school to be over so him and Luke would get frozen yoghurt. And so Calum couldn't see the sight of Michael flirting with that girl.

Calum re-thought that.

Was he jealous?

No, pfftt of course not!

The second bell rang and Calum was already by his locker. Luke was kinda late in his opinion.

"FROZEN YOGHURT!!"

Calum didn't even have to turn around to know who that was. Calum did anyways and shook his head.

"You're such an idiot Luke" Calum said as he looked up at his tall friend. He then giggeled.

"I'm sure I've heard that before" Luke said as he chuckled. "You ready honey bun?" Luke asked as he leaned against the lockers.

"One second, I gotta find my math homework" Calum said as he was digging trough his school stuff.

"Ew" Luke simply said. He then grabbed his phone and texted Brianna.

"Hey Cal?" Luke asked softly. "Oh gosh, what is it?" Calum asked.

"Could uhmm..could I bring Brianna along?" Luke asked. Calum mentally sighed.

"..sure" Calum said as he found his math homework. Luke had been with Brianna a lot lately and now she had to come with them?

Calum really didn't want to, but you know, he didn't want to dissapoint Luke.

"Cool" Luke said happily as he typed something away in his phone. "She'll be here in a minute" Luke said as he bit his lip.

"Great"

Could this day be even worse? Calum thought as he saw Michael and that blonde girl walk into the frozen yoghurt place. Did he follow them or something?

Calum sighed as he sunk down into his seat. This sucked!

"You okay?" Luke asked.

Calum nodded "yeah" he simply said. "Tell me if there is anything" Luke said softly.

"I gotta go to the bathroom guys, I'll be right back" Luke said as he stood up and left his phone on the table.

"Sure" Brianna said and smiled. As soon as Luke was out of sight her smiled faded.

"Listen here Hood" Brianna started. "If you come between me and Luke then it's over and done for you!" Brianna said angrily.

Everything nice Calum had thought about the girl was tottaly gone!

"No you listen Brianna" Calum said sassy as he sat up straight. "If it wasn't for me, Luke wouldn't even be here with you in the first place, so you better sit and stay the hell down" Calum said harshly. He didn't know where that courage came from. Maybe he was indeed too tired to care.

"Don't tell me to sit down you thirdwheel, just go home!" Brianna yelled, causing a scene. Of course it had also got Michael's attention.

Calum stood up and took out his wallet. "Hey Cal what are you-" Luke said appearing back from the restroom.

"I'm going home!" Calum said harshly before throwing money on the table. He had to leave this place immidiately.

"Cal wait!" Luke said as he followed Calum to the door.

"Leave it Luke!" Calum said as Luke touched his shoulder.

"Just-..leave it" Calun said as he opened the door and closed it behind him.

He made his way towards his bike. He was gonna have to ride his way back home alone tonight.
