4. Airplanes
He sighed as he looked at the time.
8:23
It was too late. He decided to give up. He stepped onto his bike before going to school himself.
Calum was nowhere to be seen. He didn't leave Luke a message and he didn't call him for two whole weeks.
It's not because Calum didn't want to do that. It because all forms of contact got taken away from him. Luke knew this so he wasn't angry with Calum. This situation had happened several times before sadly.
The blonde boy just hoped to see his best friend soon again. He really wished he was doing fine.

Luke was sitting in the library. He was studying for an upcoming test for Science.
"He's still not here ?"
A voice said behind Luke. Luke turned around as he saw Michael standing there.
Luke just shook his head. "Have you had contact with him?" Michael asked as he adjusted his snapback.
"No.." Luke said breathing out and tried focusing on his Science book again.
...
"Are you doing okay?" Michael asked. "Listen Michael, could you please just leave me alone...I'm trying to study here" Luke said as he snapped.
"Shit, sorry mate" Michael said as he sat down by the table aswell. Time to annoy some people.
He placed his back pack on the table and took out a pack of chewing gums.
"Want one?" Michael asked.
"Oh for fucks sakes!" Luke said as he was annoyed. He slammed his book closed.
"Yes!" Luke said as he snatched a piece of gum out of Michael's hand. Michael smirked as he grabbed one for his self also.
"So..Luke Hemmings" Michael said as he sat back in his chair and putted his feet on the table.
"Yeah, that's me" Luke said sarcastically. "I'd have to ask again" Michael said.
"Are you doing okay?" Michael asked. Luke huffed as he then laughed in himself.
"Do I look okay Clifford?" Luke asked. "Want an honest answer?" Michael said and smiled.
"Your so up in people their shit aren't you?" Luke said to Michael. "Maybe I am" Michael said and smirked as he stood up.
"Or maybe not" Michael said questioning himself. He swung his backpack over one shoulder before patting Luke's shoulder.
"I hope you feel better soon" Michael said and smiled sympathetically before leaving Luke alone again in the library.
Michael Clifford is something else..

Luke scribbled down the answers and his partner Brianna, was mixing up certain formulas.
"22 degrees, Blue" Brianna said as she lifted up the weird liquid.
Luke sighed. 45 minutes off this class was left and he was taken over by boredom.
"31 degrees, Dark Blue" Brianna said. Luke scribbled all the data down.
"I hate this class" Luke blurted out. Brianna looked at Luke with big eyes.
"I thought you liked it" Brianna asked as she shook the dark blue liquid slightly.
Luke just shook his head. "Well, after school we could go get milkshakes" Brianna said and placed her hand on Luke's thigh.
"I don't know.." Luke said sternly. He didn't want to sound rude in any way possible, but he just couldn't help it. He just really missed his other half.
"That's okay, what do you wanna do then?" Brianna asked.
A silence made it's way between the two for a couple of seconds.
"I think I'm gonna go shoot some hoops after school" Luke said as he bit his lip and adjusted his lab glasses.
Brianna nodded. "Want me to come with?" She asked softly. "I'd rather be alone for a second" Luke said. Brianna nodded "that's fine" she said and smiled.
Luke placed his hand on top of Brianna's hand and went back to writing.

Luke fixed his hair as he looked in the mirror. He was stood in the middle of the boys locker room. He putted on sone deodarant and fixed his jersey.
Luke cracked his neck before going into the empty sports hall.
The only thing be heard was the squaking of his basketbal sneakers against the shiney gym floor and the basketbal that thumped up and down.
He shot some hoops before running towards the other basket with his ball. He did this a few times before wiping the sweat of his face.
He was glad he joined the basketbal team. Sadly he didn't make it to his all time favourite sports team, but sometimes things happened for a reason.
"..Luke"
Luke immidiately turned around as he heard the fammiliar voice. His heart started racing faster.
There he stood at the end off the sports hall with those goddamn converse sneakers and a paper plane in his hand.
"Come here you little shit" Luke said as he fast walked over to Calum. The small boy giggled as he ran over to Luke and jumped right into his arms.
Luke lifted Calum up and spung him around. Calum couldn't stop giggling. "I missed you.." Luke said as putted his best friend down.
"I missed you too" Calum said and bit his lip as he looked up at Luke. "I'm sorry I was away for so long I-" Luke cut Calum off.
"I get it, you don't have to talk about it Cal" Luke said as he pulled Calum in for another hug. Luke could hear Calum let out a small sob. He just couldn't handle the pressure anymore.
"Sssshh" Luke whispered and rubbed his back. "You'll be okay" Luke said.
"Calum.." Luke said in a serious tone. "Yes?" Calum said as he wipped away the tears with the end of his sleeves.
"Can I see?" Luke said as he mentioned at Calum's arms. Calum nodded as he held out his arms. Luke rolled up Calum's sleeves and smiled.
"Good" Luke said and unrolled Calum's sleeves again. Calum smiled and then sneakily snatched Luke's basketball from besides him on the ground. Calum's backpack coming off.
"Aye that's mine!" Luke said as he ran after Calum. He laughed as Calum then tried to score.
He failed miserably as the ball felt besides the basket.
"You suck" Luke said as he pushed Calum playfully. The two laughed.
"C'mere" Luke said as he grabbed another ball from the rack on the side and mentioned for Calum to stand infront of him.
Calum obeyed and stood infront of Luke. Luke handed the ball to Calum and stood behind him. "You gotta keep the ball like this" Luke said as he adjusted Calum's position in holding the ball.
"Now try aiming at the basket and throw it in!" Luke said as he took a few steps back and watched Calum making his goal.
"See if you can do better Lucas" Calum said as he tossed Luke another ball.
"Sure" Luke said as he walked in front and aimed it perfectly at the hoop. Luke turned around and looked at Calum.
"Okay okay, that was better than anyone else I've seen playing ever" Calum said sassing around.
"Sure it is" Luke responded.
"Did you make the team?" Calum asked.
"I'll find out next week".
"I'm a 100% sure that you'll make it tho".
"There are some pretty good ones" Luke admitted.
"Pfff, you'll be in the team" Calum said.
"I also made you something as well" Calum then said. "What is it?" Luke asked as he followed Calum towards his backpack on the ground.
"Welll, in return to that rock which I literally bring everywhere I go.." Calum said as he grabbed the paper airplane he had dropped earlier on the ground.
"I made you this airplane" Calum said as he handed Luke the paper airplane. Of course it wasn't a regular airplane. The airplane was made with thick paper and had a smiley face drawn onto it, resembling the rock Luke gave him.
Only Calum could make the best flying airplanes!
"Holy shit Cal, that is so fricking cool" Luke said as he had taken the air plane from Calum's small hands.
"I'd say give it a go pilot Hemmings" Calum said and stood besides Luke as he threw the airplane across the sports hall.
It got all the way to the door towards the boys locker room and hit the open door.
Luke swore he had closed that door..
Luke and Calum then noticed Michael had been watching the two for god knows how long..
"Hey!" Luke said angrily. This time he was so over it. Luke ran towards the door. Michael being by the door already closed the door and ran away.
Luke groaned as he grabbed his paper airplane.
"Shit!" Luke sweared.
