His eyes were heavy as he walked into his first class. Music

"Goodmorning to you Calum" Mr. Irwin said and smiled brightly. He was wearing a flannel..

How was he supposed to even focus today?

"Goodmorning sir" Calum sinply said and smiled back.

Calum walked towards the back where Luke was talking to some girl out of his science class. Brianna, Calum thought was her name.

"Oh there you are" Luke said and smiled. "Yeah..where were you this morning?" Calum asked.

Luke didn't show up for the bike ride to school this morning. Calum freaked out.

"Oh yeah, I send you that text, didn't you get it?" Luke asked. Calum shook his head.

"That's weird" Luke said as he took his phone out and looked at the messages. In the mean while Calum sat down and took out his books.

"The messages weren't send because I turned my internet off after wards, I'm sorry Cal" Luke said.

"Oh, it's alright" Calum said and smiled softly. Inside he actually wasn't so happy, but not everything revolved around him so he kept his mouth shut.

Oh his eyes were so heavy. He just wanted a place for his head right now. A soft pillow pherhaps. Maybe some ad-

"Calum?"

Calum then 'awoke' again.

"Sorry sir, could you repeat that?" Calum asked as he bit his lip. Mr. Irwin sighed.

"Number 17?" Mr. Irwin asked.

"Oh yeah, it's human development, sports, health, social behaviour and general progress"  Calum said. The whole class looked at him weirdly.

Yeah he may not pay his full attention now, but he made his homework.

Mr. Irwin smiled and gave Calum a wink. "Thank you Calum" Mr. Irwin said as he continued.

Calum then raised his hand. Mr. Irwin looked at him again.

"Uhh Calum" Mr. Irwin said and chuckled.

Calum lowered his hand. "When do we get to play the real music?" Calum asked. It might had been a bit harsh to ask.

"Soon Calum" Mr. Irwin said. "Soon".

Calum nodded as he then sunk back into his seat again.

With his arms wrapped around his books, he was walking towards his next class. Science

This was one of the classes he didn't share with Luke sadly.

"Oh hey Calum"

Calum looked up and saw Michael standing infront of him.

"Hey.." Calum just said.

"You ready for basketbal try outs today after school?"

Calum almost choked as he heard that. Those were today?

No

"Y-Yes" Calum said.

"Great! See you after the last class?" Michael asked.

"Uhmm..sure" Calum said and nodded.

"Alright, bye Cal" Michael said and smiled. Why was everyone so smiley?

"Bye Michael" Calum said. He waited for Michael and the rest to leave before going over to his locker.

He was gonna skip the rest of his classes. This including basketbal try outs.

He couldn't do it.

Luke: Calum where in the world are you!?

Luke had looked around for his friend everywhere, but couldn't seem to find him. Now his best friend also wasn't replying to his texts.

Luke sighed as the basketbal try outs were starting.

"Shit Calum!" Luke sweared in himself. Luke quickly putted his phone in his locker along with his bag and putted on his shirt.

What Luke didn't know was that Calum would be gone for longer than a day..

Calum was gone for a whole week now with no contact. Luke knew what was going on with Calum. It was sad no one else knew.

He just wished the boy was doing okay...

"Hey Luke" Michael said as he stood by his locker after science.

"Oh hi Mike" Luke said as he putted his books away.

"This isn't really my business, but may I ask where Calum is?" Michael asked.

"Uhh..I uhh..I can't really tell you that" Luke said and gave a sympathetic smile.

"That's okay, please let him now I hope he's okay" Michael said and smiled.

Luke nodded and closed his locker. He didn't say anything when he left.

Just like Calum.
