Ashton waited for Luke to show up at his house. He was already wearing his dress for the premiere and his make-up already done. Michael had been at his house earlier to do it but then he went to his own so he could get ready and catch a ride with Calum. Apparently they were going together while Olivia went with Nick.

He walked around in his house, checking himself in the mirror and fixing his lipstick for probably the millionth time. His dark-yellow dress went a little bit above his knee, it was simple and that's how he liked it. Ashton's phone buzzed and he grabbed it, checking the message app.

[From: Luke]

hey honey

i can't pick you up now, but I sent Geoffrey and he'll be there in ten minutes

i just want you to know that tonight is an important night

which means anything can happen

so whatever happens please don't forget that you mean the world to me and i fell deeply for you

and that i'm in love with you

be safe

[To: Luke]

hey lukey, it's okay don't worry

are you alright? why are you telling me this?

Ashton frowned when Luke read the message but didn't reply. He heard a knock on his door and grabbed his wallet, putting it in the shorts he was wearing under the dress. He had seen people's dresses being lifted in the air because of the wind and stuff like that on the magazines, he doesn't want to risk the whole world seeing his underwear.

He smiled at Geoffrey and the man smiled back at him.

"You look wonderful, Mr.Irwin." Geoffrey said, leading Ashton to the car (more like big ass limousine).

"Thank you." He replied.

Geoffrey opened the limousine door dor him and Ashton thanked the driver, getting in. When he sat down he saw Michael and Calum in front of him. The boy was wearing a white dress along with a white flower crown, his make up was looking rather like Ashton's but more detailed since Michael was one of those. Calum was wearing a black suit with a black tie, his hair quiffed to the side and his glasses still on. The lilac-haired boy looked at his friend and gave him a smile.

"Geoffrey let us come with him. Are you nervous?"

"About the Luke coming out part or the premiere?"

"Both."

"I'm okay."

The truth is, he was nervous for the Luke coming out part. He was scared if Luke's life became a mess after it but at the same time he was happy because the blond was finally able to be himself. Also, his kind of relationship with Ashton would be public and he couldn't wait until the world knew that he belongs to the most wonderful man alive, Luke Hemmings.

Soon he could see the dozens of fancy cars parked close to the movie teather. The lights were strong and beautiful, Ashton felt his heartbeat reace when they started to get closer. He saw the camera flashes photographing the car, making sure no moments were missed. He held his breath when the car pulled next to the red carpet.

"Want us to go first?" Michael asked and Ashton nodded.

He and Calum got out of the limousine, even more camera flashes showing. Calum looked at Ashton and extended his hand so Ashton could hold it. He looked at the assistant's hand nervously, gulping.

"Come on, you can do this." Calum said with a sweet and reassuring smile.

Ashton nodded and smiled, grabbing Calum's hand and getting out of the car. He smiled for the cameras and his anxiety went away. Ashton realised it was quite easy and that he was going to have fun on that night because it was going to be wonderful.

"Mr.Irwin is there anything that you can tell us about this movie?" an interviewer said, smiling at Ashton.

"I can't reveal much but it's beautiful and romantic, you're going to love it."

"And how was it to film with one of the most important stars in Hollywood? Did Luke give you much trouble?"

Ashton smiled when she mentioned his lover "He was just wonderful, always made sure I was okay and comfortable with everything. I think tonight might be very special for him."

"That's all, thank you for your time." She said, smiling at him.

He walked through the read carpet, stopping when papparazzis wanted to take pictures of him. A car pulled up in the driveway and he smiled, seeing Luke's blond hair. Before he could take a good look Olivia stepped in front of him, giving him a nervous smile.

"Heeeey Ashton, what up?" she said, blocking Ashton's view from Luke.

"I'm fine Olivia, I love you too. Please let me see Luke."

"Ash no-" before she could finish Ashton had already pushed her away.

His smile fell when he saw the familiar brunette with Luke. Her name was Victoria Campbell, a famous model who everyone was a basic bitch but still loved. Everytime you heard her name it meant drama had happened and Ashton doesn't usually hate people but he did hate Victoria a lot. He met her once and it was enough to never want to see her again.

Ashton looked down at their hands and felt tears forming, noticing their fingers were linked and there was an engagement ring on her finger. He frowned and started shaking his head. His eyes met Luke's sad ones and the blond mouthed 'I'm sorry'.

"We don't have to stay-" Olivia started, hugging Ashton.

"N-No we have to, I can't disrespect Hedgar like that."

"We'll go home whenever you want to." Michael said, moving his fingers in Ashton's hair "Calum doesn't even want to be here."

They entered the thater and Ashton fell into his seat, giving fake smiles to people who greeted him. He sat down at his line, Olivia on his left and Michael and Calum on his right. His heart broke when he saw Victoria and Luke coming in their way, sitting right next to Olivia. Ashton saw the way Olivia glared at them and avoided Luke's hello.

"You don't have to hate him just because I do right now." Ashton whispered.

"We are on your side Ashton." Michael said, linking his fingers with Ashton's as Olivia did the same.

"Don't be afraid to hold our hands thight. We're here for you Ashton." Olivia said, kissing Ashton's cheek as the light went out.

Through the movie Ashton couldn't stop but look at his lover sometimes. Maybe not lover anymore, he lied to Ashton and tricked him into thinking that they would be official. He had a relationship with a man who already had someone and that's what made his heart sink. He fell in love with Luke and he was going to tell him that but now everything was ruined.

He cried a few times during the movie but after the characters kissed for the first time he couldn't take it anymore. He got up and apologized to the people he stepped on acidentally, running to the bathroom. To avoid someone bothering him Ashton locked the stall, sitting on the toilet letting his tears out without caring about his expensive dress  and make-up probably being ruined.

"Ashton please." Luke said, banging on Ashton's door "I can explain, just come out and let me see you."

Ashton looked down and cleaned his tears, opening the door and glaring at Luke. The blond looked at him and frowned, trying to get closer to Ashton but he stepped away.

"Baby please-"

"Don't you dare to call me that." Ashton said "You played with me, tricked me into thinking that we could be public so you could show up with you fiancé. Do you know how I'm feeling Luke? Were you playing with me all the time?"

"It was only at first but-"

"At first?!" He screamed, his heart breaking even more "You knew I liked you and you still did it! How could you? After everything I said y-you still treat me like shit."

"But I fell for you! It doesn't matter because I fell in love with you a-and it was okay." Luke said.

Ashton chuckled sadly, tears falling from his face "If you fell in love with me then why do you have a fiancé?"

"I had to sign a contract Ashton. It would be good for my career and-"

"And what?! You're obsessed with your career! You could have chosen happiness or money and you chose money."

"Honey, it will only be for a while. You just have to wait."

"No, I'm sick of waiting. I'm not staying with you while you're engaged to someone else, faking it or not it's still cheating and I don't want to be part of it. All you do is lie to me constantly and hurt me just because you're supposedly afraid of loving someone other than your career." Ashton screamed "This conversation is over, I'm going home. Go find another booty call."

Luke tried to grab his arm but Ashton yanked it away, glaring at him.

"Goodbye Luke."

"Ash please."

Luke followed him to the entrance, looking at Ashton as he went inside the car and Geoffrey drove away. Ashton sniffed and took his phone out, opening the groupchat with Michael and Olivia.

Ashton locked his phone and thanked Geoffrey, running inside his house. He locked the door and leaned against it, crying as the events from that night replayed on his head. He remembered every moment he had with Luke and his heart broke a little more at those thoughts, knowing he had to let them go.

Michael showed up twenty minutes after the texts with Olivia and Calum. He hugged Ashton as tight as he could, the curly-haired boy wasn't even wearing his dress anymore. Ashton sat down in his living room as Michael cleaned his make-up.

"He didn't go back you know?" Calum said "After you two went out."

"I don't care about anything that has to do with him."

"Next time I see him I'm going to slap him." Olivia said, sighing heavily "I don't even care if it's in public, he had no right to do it."

Ashton sniffed, starting to cry again. Michal hugged him and kissed his forehead, whispering sweet nothings.

"I loved what we had." Ashton said "Sneaking behind everyone's backs, sharing secret kisses and something occasional whenever we were alone - it was everything to me. I gave him my heart and he didn't even realise it."

"Well, he's an asshole." Michael said "He's the one who will get all the bad luck after this because he had no right to use you. Look at what he's missing - you're a fine sweet piece of ass! You're going to find someone so much better."

But after all, he still loved Luke with all his heart.
