As the morning arrived Katherine sat by the new vampire eager for her to wake up to both torment her and use her for her own plan. When the sun was fully up and families were outside Alice's eyes began to flutter open in taking a large breath. Alice looked around in fear remembering small details that had happened to her the night before making her even more scared of the woman who sat beside her with a large smirk. "Where am I" the shy girl breathed out

"that doesn't matter right now"

"you killed me?" Alice spoke almost in question

"i did, but don't worry your alive" Katherine paused "well half alive"

"what do you mean? I don't understand"

"well, witches are not the only supernatural beings, There are other existing creatures. Vampires are the main ones of course" she smirked " the stories your parents tell you as a kid about the big bad vampires at night are true, they are just wrong about the night time"

"you're a vampire?"

"yes, and now you are one to"

Alice began to panic and her breathing became fast. "But im a witch."

" you're so whiny" she rolled her eyes "in a normal situation you would have lost your powers and just be a vampire but I got another witch to allow you to keep your powers through transition and after.

"transition?" Alice questioned

"transition to becoming a vampire, what your going through now which reminds me" she grabbed a wooden cup from the table "drink up"

"what is it?"

"my blood mixed with human blood, now drink" Katherine forced the cup into the fragile girl's mouth. Alice's eyes soon became 'veiny' and red after the first drop touched her throat completing her transition. She finished the cup fast and looked up at the smiling brunette.

"Why did you make me this" Alice spoke with blood dripping down her lips as she mentally pleaded for more

"Damon loves you and if I killed you he would never trust me and if I turned you normally you would be of no use to me."

"why would I not be useful for you?" Alice ignored her comment about Damon

"as a vampire you have certain abilities, one being compelling which is mind control, if you were a normal vampire you could compel Damon to not trust me however my little witch now made it so I can compel you to help me plans, therefore, you can't go against me" She glared "so let's see if it works" Katherine pulled Alice up facing her eyes towards her own.

"you will listen and follow everything I say and will not go against me until my plan is over" Katherine compelled Alice as her pupils grew slightly

"I will listen and follow everything you say" Alice repeated in daze

Alice shook out of the daze wondering how she made her say and now do everything she wanted. "How did you do that?"

"I told you, ugh you ask too many questions." she Grabbed something from her pocket which revealed her necklace Damon had given her.

"my necklace" Alice grabbed it from her hand

"you need to wear this at all times, it's a daylight necklace it will allow you to walk in the sun because you're a witch you can make more if you want but don't be making them for just anyone. Also for a normal vampire, the jewellery must have lapis lazuli in it in order for it to work."

Alice put the necklace back on and fiddled with it between her fingers. "now follow me" Katherine grabbed Alice's arm and pulled her outside the house. 

"where are we going?" Alice questioned

"We are going to the Salvatore's" Katherine pulled her out the front door and Alice felt all her senses overlap. The sun blinded her eyes making it hard to see, she could hear people talking long distances away that she shouldn't, and through this all her most strong sense was the scent of blood. Alice's eyes became a crimson red and veins pushed them self under her eyes. Katherine noticed the newly turned hybrid and pushed her to a wall roughly glaring into her eyes.

"Control it!" Katherine compelled forcefully "I don't need to be worrying about you"

Alice felt her eyes go back to normal and her urges go down, she mentally thanked Katherine despite it being her fault she was like this. "why are we going to the Salvatore's?"

"well I need to play my cards right with Stefan and you need to practice compelling so Damon is great first practice"

"what do you mean? I don't want to compel Damon"

"You will compel him because he loves you too much and his feelings cant screw up everything im working for." Katherine looked into Alice's eyes " You will compel Damon to forget his feelings for you, you will also not say anything about my plan to anyone" she compelled. Alice felt used and angry that Katherine could use and compel her like this but she didn't know anything about her situation enough to be able to stop it or if she even could stop Katherine and break free.

After endless thoughts roaming around Alice's head of fear, anger and confusion they had arrived at the Salvatore house. Katherine saw the two brothers and lightly tugged Alice along. Damon turned his head and saw the two girls walking towards them. Damon found Katherine attractive but nothing could compare to his love for the redhead girl.

Katherine faked a happy smile and waltz over to Stefan as she pushed Alice to Damon glaring at her.  Alice knew what she had to do but she still felt awful and upset about doing it. Damon smiled at her and Alice smiled slightly.

"what's wrong?" Damon questioned

"nothings wrong" Alice forced a smile more

"ever since we were young I have been able to tell when your lying"

"do you have somewhere private we could go?"

"yes, follow me" he spoke concerned

Katherine watched the whole conversation between the two and smirked at the situation laying out in front of her eyes.

Damon led Alice to his room and shut the door. Alice smiled lightly at the memories they had shared in the room before his father had told them to leave his room because it was inappropriate. "Are you okay?" Damon asked

Before she said anything she embraced him into a tight hug and mentally refused to let go. Damon returned the hug a little out of breath and rested his chin on her head. "I'm sorry Damon" she sniffled with small tears forming

"why are you sorry?"

Alice put her small hands on his face and looked into his eyes the way Katherine did to her. "you will forget your feelings for me and will develop feelings for Katherine." Alice spoke monotone as she compelled Damon what she was Compelled to say. Damon blinked and felt slightly empty. He looked at the girl who was tearing up beside him but he felt nothing. He didn't stop to ask if she was okay like he usually would, he didn't kiss her head as he would and he didn't comfort her endlessly, instead, he walked out of the room not looking back.

Alice let tears drown her eyes as she ran out of the house trying to cover her eyes. When she was outside she saw Damon talking to Katherine with wide eyes and Stefan looking slightly jealous. She continued to run and Katherine noticed the upset girl and ignored the slight guilt that formed in her stomach. Alice ran back to the broken-down house she had woken up in and awaited Katherine's return, She wanted to run to her mum and cry and tell her everything but Katherine had compelled her not to.
