"Happy birthday, Sirius!" I shrieked, jumping up and down on his bed.

Birthdays and other holidays were the only times that I was a morning person. Plus, it helped that I had already had four cups of coffee.

"Get off me," he grumbled, swatting at my legs.

Smirking, I did as he said and got off of him and his bed. But I "accidentally" took his blanket with me. As the cold air hit his body, he instantly jumped out of bed. Quickly pulling on a pair of his gray sweatpants (being the crazy person that he is, he only slept in his boxers in the winter), Remus, James, Peter, and I all laughed as he tripped over his feet.

Growling playfully, Sirius tackled me onto his blanketless bed.

Landing on top of me, he asked, "Do I get a birthday kiss from my beautiful princess?"

James made gagging noises from his spot on the floor.

"Not in front of me, you two!" He declared.

Remus smacked him upside the head with one of Sirius's presents. Sirius and I had officially started dating yesterday, November 2nd. James had been surprisingly supporting of it but hated any "displays of affection".

Sirius got off of me and helped me off of the bed. Sitting down in front of his pile of presents, I sat next to him. Across from us sat Peter, James, and Remus. Unsurprisingly, there wasn't a present from his parents in the pile. I excitedly handed him his gift from Remus.

Quickly tearing off the wrapping paper, he lifted the Beatles T-shirt up.

"Thanks, Moony," Sirius said, slipping it on. "Now I can match Laura when she wears her's."

"My present next," James said, thrusting his box into Sirius's hand. "Since Laura's gift can't be topped," he threw a glare in my direction, "I got you the next best thing."

Opening James's poorly wrapped present, Sirius pulled out a quidditch jersey. On the front, there was the traditional Gryffindor quidditch symbol. On the back, there was a golden number 07. In golden letters, at the top it read Princess Potter's biggest fan.

"Aww," I cooed. "I love it."

"So do I," Sirius agreed. "Thanks, James."

As Sirius gently sat the jersey to the side, I handed him Peter's present. Just like the other two, Sirius quickly ripped off the wrapping paper. Inside the box was dozens of Zonko's products and Honeyduke sweets.

"Do you like it?" Peter asked nervously.

"Yes," Sirius reassured him. "Thanks, Peter."

Peter breathed a sigh of relief. I handed Sirius the final present, my present. It was a medium sized box and greatly wrapped if I do say do myself.

He excitedly attacked the wrapping paper and opened the box. Inside was another, slightly smaller, box. He opened that one. Inside was another smaller box. Inside that box was another smaller box. Although he was slightly confused at this point, Sirius continued to open the boxes. About fifteen minutes later, he reached the final box. Opening it, he picked up the folded slip of paper and read it. It said Haha. Your present isn't in here. Love, Laura.

Remus and James nearly died of laughter when they saw Sirius's shocked face. I attempted (and failed) to hide my smile.

After recovering from his initial shock, Sirius looked at me and said, "I don't know whether I should be angry or proud of this non magical prank."

"You should be proud. Do you want to see your real present?" I asked.

"Yes!"

Digging into the pocket of my sweatpants, I pulled out a keychain that held a small silver key and dropped it into Sirius's outstretched hand. A perplexed look crossed his face.

"What does this lead to?" He asked.

"Put your coat on and I'll show you," I answered, pulling my coat on as I spoke.

When Sirius was ready, I turned to the remaining three boys and said, "While we're gone, your jobs are to get everything that we requested from the house elves."

"Yes ma'am," James said, snapping into a salute.

Taking Sirius's hand, I lead him out of the dormitory and through the empty common room. Although we had classes today, we all agreed to skip them to celebrate Sirius's birthday. We left the castle and headed down to Hagrid's hut in silence.

"Why is my present there?" Sirius asked when he realized where we were walking to.

"It's the only place you never go. I knew you wouldn't be able to find your present there." I answered.

When we reached the small hut, I spotted Hagrid and his dog, Fang, in the front yard.

"Happy birthday, Sirius," he called as he caught sight of the two of us. "Yer present is out back."

"Thanks, Hagrid," Sirius said to him.

Carefully avoiding getting slobbered on by Fang, I lead Sirius to the vegetable garden. He had the same reaction as James. His jaw dropped and eyes widened in awe. He scanned his present up and down. The bright red bow still sat perfectly on top of the handle bars. The black motorcycle gleamed in the early morning sunlight and, thankfully, it was still spotless.

"You can't ride it right now," I explained. "But Dumbledore said that you could on the weekends. Hagrid is more than happy to keep it here until the end of the year."

No answer came from Sirius.

"Do you like it? Because I can return it and get some-"

"Laura," Sirius cut me off. "I love it."

He picked me up and twirled me around. Placing me on the seat of the bike, he kissed me gently.

"Thank you, Princess."

"You're welcome, Prince," I told him, breaking the kiss.

Back in the comfort of our dormitory, platters of Sirius's favorite breakfast (coffee, pancakes and bacon) were waiting for us. Yesterday evening, Peter and I had went down to the kitchens and requested Sirius's favorite foods be sent to our dorms throughout the day.

Since it's your birthday," Remus began. "We all agreed that you get to decide what we do today."

"But we can't leave the tower," I informed him. "We'll get sent to class if we're caught outside of it. I'm surprised we didn't get caught when I took you to Hagrid's hut."

"Okay. I can live with those restrictions," Sirius said through a mouthful of pancakes.

"So what's first on today's agenda?" James asked when we had all finished our breakfast.

"If it's okay with you guys, I really feel like just being lazy today. We can stay up here and lounge around in our pyjamas. We could watch some muggle movies."

"That sounds perfect," I agreed.

James looked shocked that Sirius wanted to have a calm day bit quickly covered it. "What movie do you want to watch first?" He asked. "I'm pretty sure Remus and Laura have every movie ever made."

"Let's watch something by that Disney guy," Sirius decided.

"Great choice," Remus and I said in unison.

Summoning our Disney collection with his wand, Remus displayed them for Sirius. After ten minutes of thinking, he decided on Bambi.

Snuggling into Sirius's side, I sighed contentedly as the movie began to play.

I awoke from my nap just as the cake and dinner appeared. I had fallen asleep after Bambi had gone off and as Remus was putting in Peter Pan.

"Did you sleep good?" Sirius asked as I raised up off of his chest.

"Yes I did," I answered.

Grabbing two plates of food, I handed one to Sirius and kept the other one for myself. The five of us wolfed down our food hungrily. Once we were all done, I placed the candles on Sirius's cake (strawberry with vanilla icing) and sat it in front of him.

Peter, Remus, James, and I sang 'happy birthday' to him. When we finished, Sirius, who was grinning broadly, blew out the candles. I cut the cake and handed everyone a huge slice. When we finished, the empty plates magically disappeared.

Putting in another Disney movie, the Jungle Book, I snuggled into Sirius's side again as he wrapped his arm around my waist. Although the day had been simpler than what I had thought it would be, it was still amazing.

"Best birthday ever," Sirius whispered, resting his head on top of mine.
