I was in the kitchen with Mum, trying to sneak in a bite of cookie dough from the bowl when the front door opened.

"Laura! James!" Dad called. "I brought home surprises for you!"

I immediately dropped the spoon that I was holding and ran to the front door. I could hear my twin brother, James, running down the stairs. Dad always had the best presents for us when he came back from his business trips. Nearly colliding with my identical twin, James, at the beginning of the hallway, we rushed forward, trying to beat each other to the front door.

As Dad came into view, I saw two of our best friends standing behind him.

"Remus! Sirius!" James and I called in unison.

I tackled Remus with a hug as James jumped onto Sirius.

I heard Dad chuckle softly as he said, "Sorry I couldn't bring Peter. His parents wouldn't let him come."

"It's fine, Dad. We know they're uptight. Besides, you must have had a hard enough journey just bringing these two back," I said as I let go of Remus and hugged Sirius.

"It was easier than I expected," Dad answered. Sniffing the air and turning to follow the delicious scent of warm cookies, he whispered, "I'm off to steal some cookies before dinner."

As Dad disappeared around the corner, James let go of Remus and picked up his bag as I picked up Sirius's.

"Where are they going to sleep?" James asked me. "The guest bedrooms are still being redesigned."

Thinking quickly, I said, "All four of us can sleep in the den together. I'm the only one that goes on there and there is more than enough room. Two of us can sleep on the couches. If we move the coffee table, me can put the air mattress in there and the other two can sleep on that."

Grinning cockily and running his hand through his hair, James led the way to the den as he said, "I had already thought of that. I just wanted to see if we were on the same page."

Rolling my eyes, I decided to ignore his comment and jumped onto Remus's back for a piggy back ride. Not being surprised in the slightest, he laughed and grabbed my legs so I wouldn't fall down and continued walking.

"I missed you two SO much," I said dramatically, laying my head on Remus's shoulder. "You should have owled us that you were coming. James nearly died when his precious Sirius never replied."

Opening the door that leads to the den, James called over his shoulder, "I did not!"

As I jumped off of Remus's back and entered the den, I mouthed 'Yes he did' to Sirius as I passed him. Gesturing wildly to the room around us, I dropped Remus's bag and said, "Welcome to your new room."

Dropping into my favorite spot on the couch, I watched as Sirius and Remus took in their surroundings.

The walls had been painted a shade of peach last week. Tons of framed photographs of James and I covered the wall opposite of the door. A flat screen TV and entertainment center filled with muggle movies covered the next wall. Against the back wall, there are two soft, dark brown couches that have been pushed together to create one massive couch. They are so huge, they swallow me whole if I get too relaxed. To the left of the couches, there Are two matching dark brown recliners that only James uses. In the center of the room, there is an intricately designed mahogany coffee table. On top of it is a vase of Mum's favorite flowers, red roses (how cliché) that are bewitched to last for a month.

"We only have a few minutes until dinnertime. What do you want to do until then?" James asked as he dropped into the recliner.

Sitting down next to me, Remus said, "It's your's and Laura's house. I'll do whatever you guys want to do."

"Why don't we go on a grande tour of the Potter mansion?" Sirius suggested as he dropped into the recliner next to James.

Propping my legs up on Remus's lap, I turned my head so I could see Sirius and James. "You and Remus have been here before. You know where everything of use to you is. Touring the house takes forever and I just sat down," I complained.

"I just now discovered that the den exists. So obviously I don't know where everything that is of use to me is," he shot back.

Caving slightly, I sighed. "Fine," I huffed. "We'll go on the grande tour tomorrow. Okay?"

Smirking at his win, Sirius said, "Sounds good to me, Potter."

Turning away from him, I fixed my attention on Remus. "How has your summer vacation been, Moon Moon?" I asked.

Dinner passed rather quickly. James, Sirius, Remus, and I joked around while Mum and Dad held an 'adult conversation' at the other end of the dining room table.

I had just gotten out of the shower and was currently in my room, putting on my favorite pair of pyjamas. It was a pair of shorts that had snitches flitting across them and an old T-shirt of a muggle band known as The Beatles. I quickly dried my messy black hair and pulled it up into a loose ponytail. Not bothering to check my appearance in my vanity mirror, I walked out of my room, shutting the door behind me, and headed towards the den.

As I opened the door leading to the den, I saw that the coffee table had been moved. In its place was a giant air mattress, two blankets, two pillows, and James and Sirius. James was in his Gryffindor pyjamas. Sirius was shirtless and wearing grey sweats. Remus was sitting on the couch, wearing red plaid sweats and a plain white T-shirt.

Grabbing my favorite fluffy blanket, I plopped down beside Remus and threw it over us as I cuddled into his side. "So I guess we're sharing the couch?" I asked.

"Yep," he answered, popping the p. "What are our plans for the rest of the night?" He asked.

"Why don't we watch a movie," James suggested.

"Great idea," I agreed.

Jumping up from my spot, I ran to the entertainment center, searching for my favorite muggle movie. Quickly spotting it in its usual spot, I placed it in the VCR and turned on the TV. Grabbing the remote, I ran back to the couch and cuddled into Remus's side once again.

"What are we watching?" James asked.

Grinning cheekily, I said, "Robin Hood."

Groaning loudly, James threw a pillow at me. Dodging it skillfully, I laughed and said, "If it will make you feel better, you can pick the next movie."

"I don't see why you have a problem with it, James. Robin Hood is my favorite Disney movie." Remus piped up.

"I wouldn't have a problem with it if Laura didn't watch it constantly." James replied.

"Am I the only one that has no idea what movie you guys are talking about?" Sirius asked before I could retort.

Gasping theatrically, I turned towards him. "You've never seen Robin Hood?" I whispered dramatically.

"Uh...no," he answered as equally dramatic.

"That's it," I ordered playfully. "Everyone fix your pillows and blankets. Lay back and relax. Because once I push play on the movie, no one is moving. Prepare to have your mind blown, Sirius."

Standing up, I grabbed a couple of pillows off of the pile in the floor and threw them to Remus. Catching them with ease, he placed the at the head of the couch. As Remus laid down, I climbed onto the couch and laid next to him. Throwing the blanket over us again, I took my ponytail down and pushed play on the movie. Laying my head down, I felt Remus's (surprisingly strong) arm wrap around my waist protectively.

"Watch and be amazed," I said to Sirius.

Chuckling quietly, he said, "Okay, Potter."

Sinking into Remus's warm embrace, I dozed off as Robin Hood and Little John gave away the bags of gold they had just stolen.
