When I release the next commercial edition of Ancilla, it will have front-end material (specifically, blurbs from readers and reviewers) and back-end material (a Greek translation appendix, an excerpt from the novella I plan on writing as an entry for this year's Passionate Plume contest, possibly the first chapter of Soror Mystica if I have it written by then, etc).

It will also have art. I want to do what Olivie Blake did in The Atlas Six and start each chapter with a full-page illustration on the left-hand side, and then have a few more full-page illustrations in the back of the book. The Atlas Six was flawed, but it was undeniably beautiful, and I think that enhanced my experience of reading it. 

My guess is that Ancilla's readers may feel the same way.
