My heart raced wildly at the sudden news that my newly found mate was promised to someone else.

"Relax My Heart, this was years ago...to be honest I was promised to be her husband the minute she was born, I want to say I was probably 1 going on 2 years old...so I can honestly say nothing ever happened between us."

I couldn't help but give him a sad smile, I couldn't believe how jealous I was already getting.

"So did Dorian not like the fact that you were suppose to marry his sister?" I asked curious.

He shook his head, "no, Travers knows how things are and this is something that's just expected of us as children of Alphas...what pissed him off is the fact that I wasn't exactly faithful to his sister."

And now I began to understand.

"You see I fully intended on marrying Marcella Travers, but we were both too young to get married and since her parents were hell bent on keeping their daughter pure and innocent I found fun in other girls beds...not my proudest moments but this is real life, I couldn't stay loyal to someone I didn't love none the less know much about, but Marcella was in love with the idea of being in love and one day being my Luna."

I was just about to ask what a Luna was when he spoke up.

"As you know an Alpha is the leader of the pack, a Luna is the wife of the Alpha." He filled me in then continued. "Marcella also wasn't ignorant to the fact that I was sleeping around, but I had made a mistake, one I regret everyday...she called me and begged me stop talking to my latest conquest if you will, I told her the only way I would stop was if she gave herself to me fully...I figured she wouldn't go against her parents wishes, but she was hell bent on being my Luna and in turn would do anything to make me like her more than the other girls."

I could tell this story wasn't going to end well.

"She insisted on meeting me that night, she promised she'd be mine if I would only be hers...I tried to tell her to stay home because there was a bad storm, but she stole her moms car and set out to find me, the rain was harsh, and as you know well, there's no lights on the narrow road that connect our two towns...she never made it that night, the next morning my father told me they had found the car wrapped around an old tree, there was nothing they could do to save her...Dorian always blamed me for his sister's death, hell I've always blamed myself."

"I know it's hard but from the sounds of it Marcella would've done anything to be yours... there's no way you could have stopped her short of you going to her yourself...then you'd of died" I sounded as I tried to reassure him, "you're not to blame Rocco."

He shrugged, "thank you for trying to ease my guilt, but I know my actions in this and I wouldn't ever back down from them." He sighed. "But...you asked and now you know My Heart, the only reason Travers doesn't try and kill me now is because he too was arranged to marry someone but then he met your sister and it wasn't long after that he called the marriage off, but not before he openly cheated on his fiancée with Juliette."

I was astounded...my sister, stole someone's fiancé?

"Oh my god, Jules is a home wrecker?!"

He shook his head, slight humor touching his lips, "not really, she had no idea about Dorian's Fiancée, and honestly I wouldn't even be surprised if Travers still hasn't told your sister about his old arrangement."

"Well as fun and enlightening as this day has been...it's getting pretty late, and it'll be dark soon." I said as I stood up, ready to head over to my car.

"You could always stay." He suggested, his hands gently resting upon my hips once again.

"Getting bold aren't you My Alpha?"

He smirked, "just tonight...you've accepted me and my wolf isn't ready for you to leave us yet."

"Just your wolf?"

"I want you to stay, but for very different reasons."

I knew I was playing with Fire.

If Jules ever found out what I was thinking about doing she would kill me no questions asked, but damn was Rocco's touch intoxicating, he clouded my better judgment entirely.

"And just what would you do to me if I did stay the night." I had chosen my words precisely as I took a small step closer to him.

Once again he let a deep rumble sound from his chest as he stepped in, closing the small gap between us entirely.

He bent down and kissed my jaw right under my ear, "I would do anything and everything to you until I was the only thing you would be able to think about...every caress of the wind on your skin will remind you of my fingers exploring your body, every time you touch your lips you'd recall every kiss I ever placed upon you and after tonight My Heart...every time you close your eyes you will remember every orgasm I've ever given you."

I threw my arms around his neck so I could kiss him, "then what are we waiting for?"

He playfully took hold of my hand brought me back around the front of his shop and got back onto his bike, I put my new helmet on as he kick started the bike and soon we were off.

He drove with determination and ease as we drove past the Main Street we had explored and further into the town, we passed apartment complexes and very nice houses and soon we were pulling into a long and secluded driveway. Finally a large two story house revealed it's self and I looked on in awe as he drove up to the front door, he helped me off and I removed my helmet before he took my hand in his once again.

"Welcome to my pack house." He said with a smile, "and what's mine is yours so feel free to come here whenever you like My Heart."

He unlocked the door and walked us inside, "you can have this key," he sounded as he casually took the key off the key ring.

"Rocco, this is too much." I protested as I attempted to give him his key back.

"This is nothing My Heart...you are my mate and one day you will be my Luna, for now it eases my tension just a little to know you have access to the sanctuary of my pack house and the safety of my pack if you should ever need it...if you are here NO ONE can ever harm you."

I nodded my understanding and took the key from him.

He walked us around the place showing me this and that.

"There's always pack members here for safety purposes, I also have a chef who can cook anything you could possibly imagine, there's a pool and a hot tub out back, in the basement we have a theater room, my office is right here by the front door, and I want you to know you are welcome in any room in this house at all times."

"I'm sure work and being an Alpha keep you very busy." I sounded as I couldn't help but think about My sisters words "he's the leader of his community...he's a very busy man."

He stopped and caressed my cheek with his free hand, "I will NEVER be too busy for my mate, and now that I have you, you can very well help me with some of my Alpha duties."

I blushed, "I'm not too sure that's how things work?" I said, mimicking Juliette's words when I asked her about Dorian standing her up for work.

"Says who?" He asked a little humored.

"Well I'm sure I'm not exactly qualified to have any sort of input in your Alpha business."

He shook his head no, "My Heart, you will be my Luna, my partner...your opinion is the opinion that I would regard as the highest out of everyone else's, an Alpha merely runs a pack, but an Alpha with a Luna by his side is a leader with power and knowledge."

Afterward he bent down and kissed my lips softly, I could feel the sincerity behind the kiss.

"Now, up to the bedroom."

As I followed him up the stairs I couldn't help but smile as I knew what would happen once we made it to his bedroom.
