=Eloise=

It had been almost a month since Dylan became the new alpha of the Harmond pack and not so secretly began dating Juliette (despite their failed attempts to hide it).

I had begun to grow a little baby bump and the pregnancy had become more real for me.

My initial reaction to the pregnancy, the fear and worry was long gone...right now my main focus is getting my weight up as well as the overall health of the baby. I resumed my old job as receptionist back at the garage so that I have something to do other than staying cooped up in the pack house.

We had a small rogue attack but nothing too serious, we had worried that it was the Travers but found out it was just a couple of young guys trying to start something, they were dealt with properly and everything had gone back to normal.

"Hey My Alpha I'm taking off." I shouted from the bottom of the stairs knowing he would hear me, I was being too lazy to bother walking up to his office.

He opened his office door and came down to speak to me. "You headed to the pack house?"

I shook my head. "No I'm going to visit Jules, I need to talk to her." I admitted, "I feel like it's been so long since we just had a sister day."

He nodded and kissed me before I left for the day. I drove off and headed straight over to the old apartment, back to where it all began.

The town of Harmond was just as it was when I left, if not a little more lively and open now.

I knocked before letting myself into the apartment, it was the same place but I could tell a whole new Juliette lived here now.

I looked around and saw the familiar furniture but I also noticed all of the new additions to the place.

It looked more like a home than ever before.

A soft rug now sat on the wooden floor in the living room, a pink basket next to the fireplace housed an array of colorful toys and baby dolls.

On the mantle we're old picture of Jules and I, one of Rocco and I, there were a couple of her and Grace as well as one (the largest picture of the group) that was of her, Dylan, and Grace.

I noticed there was a painting on wall, and as I made my way into the kitchen I saw that Jules had magnetic alphabet letters and a few drawing on the refrigerator

"Hey," she sounded happily as she exited her room. "I didn't know you were coming over."

She walked over to me and gave me a tight hug.

"Thought I'd pop in, check how everything was going for our new Alpha Dylan and just spend time with you."

She smiled again, "I'm so happy you want to spend time with me Eloise, I've missed this."

"Me too." I admitted.

We ended up ordering in and just sitting there chatting about everything.

"So tell me what's going on with you and Dylan?" I asked casually.

"I don't know what you're talking about?"

I gave her a deadpan expression, "everyone knows you two are dating Jules."

She thought about it before she sighed.

"Well?" I asked further.

She shrugged, "I just don't want to jinx it." She confessed a little under her breath.

I giggled and she rolled her eyes.

"Look I know it may sound silly to you but realistically Dylan and I aren't mates, and things are going really good, he is willing to go slow for me, so that's why I moved back into this apartment instead of the packhouse with him..." she filled me in before she got more heartfelt. " Eloise I just want to get to know him and have a chance to miss him and keep an air of mystery between us."

I smiled as I listen to her.

"I mean optimistically I would like for us to move in together some day, but realistically I know it will take some time before we consider taking that step, plus he has Grace so we have to ease into things as we take her into consideration...the last thing either of us want is to move too fast and end up not working out and then we stop talking, I'd be out of their lives and from what I feel, Grace has become such a huge part of my own life that I don't know how I'd deal with it if Dylan and I didn't work out."

I understood now. "Well you and Dylan are both doing a great job...I know you aren't his Luna or anything but I'm glad you've agreed to help him as he adjusts to this new found lifestyle.

She nodded, "I never really noticed how much I knew about this place until I found myself showing him around and telling him about the histories and the people."

"You were always meant to be the Luna of this pack Sis...do you think, if the time were right, that someday you could possibly marry Dylan and become his Luna?"

Once more she shrugged but this time there was a certain urgency to it, and the fact that she didn't just fly off the rails just for me asking means she had talked about this topic with someone else before, or has thought about this privately.

"I mean I do care for him, I also respect and admire him...plus Harmond is Home for me."

"The people already consider you their Luna." I added.

She nodded. "I love this pack, and would do just about anything to make sure it sees its full potential...but back to your question, if Dylan and I had actually been together for a while and I felt that I truly loved him, if he asked me to marry him I wouldn't see why I would ever say no...now if he asked me and I didn't have time to grow to love him, then I would turn down the proposal."

"Why?" I asked.

"Because I couldn't marry someone I don't love even if it meant being the Luna, I can advise him as a friend for now...-"

"Girlfriend." I corrected.

She blushed, "you know what I mean."

I yawned and looked at my phone, I loved the fact that Rocco hadn't called or text me because he knew I wanted to spend some quality time with my sister. But it was getting pretty late and I needed to head out before it got too dark.

"Hey can you talk to your boo-thang and suggest possibly getting some light out on the old road that connects the towns, I hate driving there in the dark."

She rolled her eyes and attempted to hide a smile.

"I'll let Dylan know next time I see him."

"We both know you're heading over there once I leave." I teased.

"Shows how much you know, we're going out to dinner."

"Aww such a cute family, going out to dinner."

She blushed, "it's just going to be him and I, Diane has Grace for the weekend."

I wiggled my eyebrows, "well then don't keep that Alpha waiting girl."

She smacked my arm playfully before she pulled me into another tight hug, I hugged her back just as tight.

"I love you Eloise."

I smiled, "I love you too Jules." We pulled apart, "see you this weekend when you pick up Grace."

She nodded and patted my baby bump before she finally walked me out, I got into my car and took off back to my own home.

Once I pulled up to the packhouse I let myself in and found My Alpha in his office signing a large piece of heavy paper.

"Hello My Heart." He said as he stood up to kiss me.

"Are you busy?" I asked.

"Just finishing up some pack business, what's up love?"

I smiled, "thought we could go out to dinner." I suggested, I took a page out of my sisters book and decided to have a romantic evening with my man, it had been too long since we'd gone on a proper date.

"Of course, let me just put this away...you don't know how important this treaty is." He said more to himself than me.

"Who's the treaty with?" I asked curiously.

He looked over and smiled at me, "Harmond of course...for years Springwell and Harmond have been rivals...but now, due in part to two Hart sisters, that's all in the past."

I beamed, our parents had always said the bond between my sister and I was strong, it wasn't until that moment that I realized it was strong enough to bring rival packs together in peace.
