=Eloise=

I ended up telling my sister that I'd pieced everything together from small things I'd heard around Harmond and No Man's Land.

I told her that I confronted Clem with all of my "evidence" and basically forced her to admit the truth but that she technically didn't tell me so for her not to hold anything against Clem.

She assured me Clem was not in any trouble.

And as the weeks went by the Order was apparently lifted by Dorian and everyone was free to talk about Weres and the pack like normal and I was "re-introduced" to Dorian, my sisters Mate.

But I had to admit things were a little easier since we both knew about the Weres but I still had the secret of my mate looming over me now.

"Hey long time no see." I smiled as I hugged my sister.

"You're one to talk Miss busy body."

Even though Juliette and I share the apartment these days it seemed like we hardly see the other.

I stay the night at the apartment during the week to keep up pretenses that I have no where else to be late at night. But I wake up around 8am and head straight over to Springwell to have breakfast with Rocco (something we've made it a point to do every since we started seeing each other).

Then Friday and Saturday night I spend with Rocco but say I'm hanging out with Clem and the girls. And to ease my conscience I actually do spend time with my friends Saturday during the day and and Sunday we all go to the field.

And to be honest Juliette was so wrapped up in her own life I don't think she even noticed how much I was gone.

"I was just heading out for an early lunch she admitted...I'm surprised you're not at work." She sounded as it was the middle of the week and I had slept in.

I yawned and stretched before taking a seat at the table, "I took the day off, the company's closed today anyways so no point in being there."

And it was true, Rocco was closing the shop today because he and his Beta had a meeting this afternoon and they wanted to spend the morning preparing for it.

And as much as I love being there with him I knew I'd be a distraction so I chose to stay at the apartment for the day and just see him tomorrow.

"Well like I said I'm fixing to go out for some lunch...i'd love to just catch up." She offered.

"Yeah, lets me get dressed."

"So I'm really glad I'm getting to spend time with you today, I feel like I haven't been doing enough to make time for us." I said, and wholeheartedly meant it.

The truth was I did miss my sister and there was sooooo much I wanted to tell her about. All the things I've been doing with Rocco and his mother this past month.

But I knew I couldn't...not with revealing I have a Mate, and who he is.

"Oh Eloise I'm. Just as much to blame about not making the time for us too." She countered. "But let's promise to make sure we can do whatever we need to, to always make sure we're there for one another more."

I nodded, "I promise."

"So tell me." She said as she took a bite of her pasta dish, "what's been going on with you?"

I knew I needed to start letting her know about Rocco if our plan was ever going to work.

You see. I pretty much decided I'm ready to move in with my mate but I can't until I'm eighteen...and of course I'd love my sisters backing us and supporting our relationship like I e tried to do with her and Dorian...but in order to do that she has to know about him first.

So Rocco suggested I let her know I'm seeing someone, just found out he's a Were and that we're mates and that I'm trying to figure everything out.

And I knew it was now or never as we both seemed to be busier than ever.

"Well to be honest with you I'm kind of stuck in a rut."

"Oh?" She wondered, a slight worry creasing between her brows. "What's going on Eloise?"

"Well...I've sorta been seeing this guy for the last month."

She smiled.

"He's so charming, and romantic, and very family oriented and very very respectful of me and my wishes...but, I...I just found out he's a Were."

She gave me a sympathetic nod.
To be honest I was expecting her to start demanding to know who he is, but I was beyond relieved she didn't.

"Been there." She sighed. "...it's why Dorian and I took our break in the beginning of our relationship, I was hurt when he told me the truth, also scared and unsure I mean assuming this young man is your mate?"

I nodded and smiled, "That's what he said...and it's so crazy I mean it all seems so fast and intense and I...I love him."

She took my hand in hers and smiled softly, "I get it Eloise, it's a lot all at once."

"There's more." I admitted.

"On top of my guy telling me he's a Were and we're mates...as you know school's going to be starting soon and Clem has an apartment in the city and her old roommate dropped out...she's kinda stuck in a bind and I figured since we'd both be going to the same school anyways, why not?"

"Absolutely not."

"What?!" I asked a little taken aback. To be fair I knew she'd have her reservations but to flat out deny me? "What the hell Jules why not?" I asked more determined than ever to begin gaining some freedom.

"You're too young to be out on your own."

"I won't be on my own I will be living with Clem, it's closer to campus so it would save me money on gas and I can get to and from work easier too and spending all that time living with Clem would free up more time for us to hangout like we use to."

Now I knew subconsciously when I told her Clem I really meant Rocco.

You see Clem actually does have an apartment in the city and genuinely does need a Roommate so I would pay my part of the rent to move my stuff in but I'd mostly be staying at Rocco's without any worry of being caught.

"I don't know Eloise, this is all so sudden...I'll have to talk things over with Dorian first."

"Do you always have to tell him everything?!" I snapped at her.

"I don't have to tell him everything contrary to what you may believe...but when it has to do with our pack members...-"

"I'm not one of your pack members Jules...try and remember that when you and Dorian try and plan out my life!"

My words had caused a couple of people to turn and look at us.

Juliette simply smiled a tight forced smile before she took a couple bites of her food until everyone went back to minding their own business.

"What Dorian and I do is for the good of our people."

"Your people, you sound like a cult leader."

She sighed, "you wouldn't understand."

At this I grew agitated.

You see I'd seen how my sisters mate had no qualms about ordering his pack around without so much as a second thought.

I mean even to order his people not to talk about certain topics, not allowed to go to specific places...I'm sure somewhere he believes he's doing what's right but it's an abuse of power.

"I understand perfectly well that Dorian is a tyrant Alpha mad with power and it seems to me that Dorian likes to keep the people in his pack under his thumb but news flash, I've visited other packs and I've seen the way they all go and come as they please without any harm coming to them."

"What are you trying to say Eloise?"

"All I'm trying to say is that I'm not one of your pack members so I'm not afraid to stand up to you or your beloved Dorian...you can't make me stay somewhere against my will."

"Until you're eighteen you will do exactly as I say, go where I tell you, and hangout with whoever I want you to...is that understood?"

I looked at her with disbelief "Did Dorian teach you to talk down to people like that?"

"I don't know what's gotten into you Eloise but you're hardly the little sister I remember." She commented.

"Me?!" I balled, "Jules take a look in the mirror...all I want to do is move in with my friend, a girl you know and trust enough for me to hangout with." I sounded.

"And another thing Jules." I added, "I don't need your permission, I'll be eighteen in a couple of weeks, and I'm letting you know right now...I will be leaving, I was just hoping to have your support on this."

"Well you don't, you're hardly mature enough to move away."

"Do And day whatever the hell you want Juliette, but you're not even the Luna to make me stay even if you wanted to.

I hit a cord.

"What did you just say?" She asked furious now. "I'm so sick of this new attitude you've developed Eloise...you're coming with me and we're going to talk with Dorian right now to get some stuff cleared up..."

"You're right...I think we should go and talk to Dorian right now, let's see if he has time to squeeze us in today...otherwise I'm sure we can set up a proper appointment to make sure you get the proper time with your man." It was a low blow...but I'll be damned if I let anyone try and keep me away from My Alpha.
