Snow has always hated the summer. She lays near a bush as the burning heat beats down on her white snowy fur. She pants heavily wishing she had water. She then heard the sound of water trickling into a pond. She then got up, stretched and walked over to the sound. As she got closer she heard the sound of an animal lapping at the water. She then crouched behind some bushes and looked through them. She saw a black figure drinking the cool water. She felt her mouth water with her saliva. She then swallowed it and watched the black figure drink. She was so dehydrated she felt like she was going to pass out. She began to stalk forward but then stumbled on something and twisted her paw. The black figure looked in her direction as he heard Snow wincing in pain. He slowly crept up to where she was and found her white furry body laying on the ground.
Snow cocked her head at the black figure as it looked like the wolves in her pack just black. The black figure grabbed her tail in his mouth and pulled her body into the cold pond water. She fell in and immediately felt a sense of relief as she took huge gulps of the water and then rested her head on the edge of the pond. After a moment of silence she looked up at the shadowy figure. His bright yellow eyes looking like stars implanted in his head. The black wolf nudged Snow, telling her to come. She reluctantly pulled her wet body out of the pond and shook herself dry. She then began to follow the black wolf into the woods.
An hour later, it was noon and the duo have just emerged out of the forest into a beautiful meadow. Snow was amazed at all the flat land and the tall grass. She then looked beside her where the shadowy figure was standing. He then tackled her and they fell into the meadow.
   After a while of tackling and wrestling, they were laying on the ground, hidden in the tall thick strings that covered the land. They rested as the sun began to fall out of the sky. Snow felt her eye lids get heavy and her muscles begin to weaken. She was curled next to the dark wolf as she began to fall into a deep slumber. The other wolf who curled up against her looked at her silvery white fur as he too began to fall asleep.
  The next morning when the dark wolf woke up Snow was gone. He got up to look around and saw the white beauty stalk back into the forest. The dark wolf bounded towards the forest hoping to catch her before she went back with her pack. However, by the time he caught up to her, he watched her walk back into her pack's territory. He dare not step into their land for he was a lone wolf and if he did he would surely perish. He then walked back to his own land which he marked upon for he was the only one allowed in this area. There he had a small cave, a pond and a bunch of trees and bushes to cover his spot. He walked into his cave and curled up in the shadows so that you could only see his bright yellow eyes that flickered in the darkness.
   When Snow returned, her mother bounded over to her for a small celebration in he arrival. They hugged for a brief moment then stopped. Her mother stared into Snow's silvery blue eyes seeing almost everything that had happened in her adventure. Her mother then sniffed Snow then growled angrily for she had caught a whiff of the other wolf. She glared into Snow's eyes and Snow glared back. After a while Snow's mother snapped which made Snow flinch and walked away while Snow followed her with her eyes.
