CHRISTINE's POV

I couldn't help but to feel emotional while looking at the ultrasound monitor. The feeling wasn't that new to me anymore because I felt the exact same way during my first pregnancy.

"Our little baby is so tiny yet just like a jellybean." Jace said, chuckling, while looking at the ultrasound monitor too.

"Yeah. Such a tiny little baby in there but he/she gives joy to us already." I answered fondly with a smile on my face.

"Yes. Knowing that our second baby is slowly growing inside of you is making me so happy. I'm sure that when JC comes home to us, he will surely be happy because he has a little brother or sister. I'm positive that he will be a good big brother to his sibling." The smile on my face suddenly disappeared upon hearing our firstborn's name.

It has been a week since the mission of Jace but until now, we haven't received any development about the case yet. He has been doing anything to gather any information but it was easier said that done. The enemies already knew that the ET VINDEX was after them that's why they're being more careful now.

Jace told me that he sent his men to find JC and investigate the case but until now, they haven't reported any good news yet.

"Mi amor, please, don't be sad. Everything's going to be alright for sure." Jace said, comforting me as he held my hand.

"I know. It's just that I can't help being sad and worry about JC. As long as he's not here by our side, I won't be able to feel at ease."

"Yes, I understand, but please, don't overthink too much." Jace begged. I hate seeing him sad like that so I nodded my head and then smiled.

"Don't worry, because I will. For the sake of our children, I will."

"That's the spirit, mi amor." He then planted a kiss on my cheek which made me blush because the doctor chuckled while watching us.

"You two really look good together. You seem so in love with each other. I'm sure whatever you're going through right now, you will surely get through it." She suddenly said with a smile on her face. Jace and I couldn't help but chuckle in amusement.

We suddenly forgot that we weren't alone inside the room. Well, we are usually like that, especially whenever Jace is being sweet to me. He makes me forget about everything.

"Thank you for the kind words, doctor Martins. You're right. We'll get through this together for sure." The young doctor smiled and then proceeded on telling me everything I need to know about my current condition. She said that everything's fine with the baby and I had nothing to worry about. We were both healthy and that's good news for Jace and I.

After that, she prescribed me some vitamins. When everything was finished, we went out of the hospital. We walked towards the parking lot. Jace opened the car door for me and the buckled me up.

"Thank you for being so sweet and caring, mi amor." I said, appreciating his efforts, and he beamed playfully. His eyes were already sparkling with obvious mischief as he raked me lustful stare.

My body responded hotly. I groaned inwardly. He really doesn't care where we are. If he's desire for me kick in, he would surely do something to get what he wants.

"I don't need your 'thank you', mi amor, because everything's not free." I gulped inaudibly.

"And what do you want in return?" I questioned as I raised an eyebrow at him. He chuckled and then pointed his lips. I rolled my eyes. I already understood what he wanted in return.

"You're really hopeless when it comes to this kind of thing." I said in disbelief but didn't give him the kiss that he was asking.

"You know me, mi amor. I love kissing and making out with you, especially making love with you." He even emphasized the word making love. My eyes widened and looked around us. Thankfully, there wasn't anyone there at the parking lot aside from us. He's really a naughty guy!

Suddenly, a plan popped-up on my mind. I smiled inwardly.

"You never asked me if I feel the same though." I uttered and I almost laughed out loud when the naughty smile on his face disappeared in an instant upon hearing what I've said. He suddenly looked worried and scared.

"D-Don't tell me, you don't feel the same?"

"I don't know." I feigned nonchalance as I shrugged my shoulders and I almost burst out into laughter again when his face turned serious. I thought he was going to get upset but I was wrong. He suddenly smirked.

"Really? I don't believe that you don't feel the same way though." He looked around. "Now, I suddenly want to test if you're really telling me the truth." His voice turned husky. My eyes widened.

"And what are you planning to do, mister?" His eyes were dancing with mischief.

"What do you think, Mrs. Montejo?" My heartbeat suddenly became fast when I saw him begin unbuttoning his shirt.

"Oh, no, Mister. Don't you dare!" I hissed as my cheeks reddened even more. I could already tell what's going through his mind right now. Knowing him; nothing could stop him for sure if his libido kicked in. Such an insatiable guy!

"What? I just want to see if you're telling the truth." He quickly walked to the other side of the car and then got onto the driver's seat before locking the door.

"You can't be serious. We're here at the parking lot in case you forgot."

"I am serious, mi amor." My lips parted as I was about to deny him when he suddenly drew his face closer to mine and then captured my lips with his before I could utter any response. I groaned in protest, getting paranoid that someone was watching us, but he already moved his lips to deepen the kiss.

His lips expertly moved against mine, coaxing me to respond to his hot kiss. My mind turned hazy and my body felt even hotter than a while ago. His hands were already busy caressing the sensitive parts of my body and it added to the blazing heat between us.

I couldn't take it anymore as the rational thinking left my brain. All I wanted was to succumb onto his seductions.

I know that this is not the right time and place for this but Jace already managed to awaken the wild side of me that only him had the privilege to see.

I kissed him back with equal fervor and heat and he groaned triumphantly. Our lips fought for dominance and it felt so right.

"Ohhh, Jace!" I couldn't hold back my cries of pleasure when his naughty hand slipped inside my dress and targeted my weakness. His hand expertly eased my panties to the side and then teased my already wet core with his fingers.

"Tell me what you want, mi amor." He urged after our lips finally pulled away. I bit my lower lip as my hips moved to meet his teasing fingers. But I couldn't help but to be frustrated because he just kept on teasing my hard nub down to my opening, making me needier with each passing second, but he wasn't doing anything more than that.

"C'mon, mi amor. Just tell me what you want." His voice was slightly shaking with so much desire.

"Do you even have to ask?" I answered with a tinge of irritation as I grew more frustrated. He just kept on teasing me down there with his fingers without any intention of driving me to climax.

"Jace!" I hissed impatiently but he just smirked.

"I thought you didn't want this? You were telling me that a while ago, right?" He answered playfully.

"I've never said anything like that!"

"Really? But you just said that you don't feel the same. That actually scared me, mi amor." He admitted. I chewed on my bottom lip.

"I didn't say that. I was just messing with you. Come on, mi amor. Just give it to me already!" I ordered wantonly, uncaring if somebody could see what we were doing. Thankfully, there weren't that many cars at the parking lot. We were the only one who parked on that part too that's why there weren't people around.

"So, you like making love with me too? Even kissing ang making-out?"

"Jace! Stop asking questions and just give it to me already!" I hissed.

"No can do, mi amor. Answer my question first." I closed my eyes shut while biting my lip then opened my eyes again after about three seconds.

"Do you really have to ask me that? You know how much I love doing all those stuff with you. If I didn't like it, I would never have married you in the first place." His eyes shone with happiness before it darkened with total desire and need.

Before I could even answer, he suddenly inserted a digit inside my burning wet cave and it almost robbed me off my breath. The sensation was driving me crazy but it wasn't nearly enough.

A whimper escaped my lips as my hips moved to meet every movement of his naughty finger.

"You're so hot and wet, mi amor. Hold on tight because I'll make sure to drive you insane." He warned before inserting another digit and then moved it inside of me expertly. I was almost shouting already with so much pleasure. His pace quickened, bringing me to intense org*sm.

He really knew which button to press in order to drive me crazy.

"Jace!" My body convulsed with incomparable pleasure when my intense org*sm washed over me. I was already catching my breath while savoring the pleasure.

"Oh, God! You're so naughty. Even in this kind of place, you still managed to do this to me." I then said while still breathing raggedly. He chuckled and then withdrew his fingers from my still quivering core. My eyes went wide as saucers when he brought his fingers to his mouth and savored my remaining essence by licking it hungrily.

"Hmmm. Your taste is really my addiction, mi amor." I felt like my whole face redden because of what he did.

"You're so naughty!" I even leered at him. He laughed before kissing me on the lips.

"I love you." He then professed sweetly. A smile automatically appeared on my face.

"I love you too." Our lips met again, this time for a kiss full of love.

"Damn. I want to go all the way here."

"No way, mister Montejo! If you really want to continue, drive us home." He chuckled.

"Are you sure you can endure until we get home?" I was caught off guard. Yes. I already climaxed around his fingers just now but it wasn't nearly enough. I heard him laugh.

"I knew it. You're as insatiable as me, mi amor. I can see the answer on your face clearly." I leered at him but couldn't say anything because I knew that he was right. His laugh became louder. I couldn't take it anymore and pinched him on the side of his stomach.

"Speak for yourself! I can wait until we get home!" He was about to answer when his phone rang. He grunted in annoyance.

"Damn! Way to ruin the moment." I shook my head because he looked irritated.

"Answer it." He sighed and did as he was told.

"Yes?" There was a couple of seconds of silence as the person on the phone told him his reason for calling.

"What?!" My body jerked in surprise when I heard his loud angry voice. "Do everything that you can and stop calling me if you don't have any good news to say!" He hissed before ending the call. To my surprise, he pounded the steering wheel with his fist. He suddenly looked stressed out.

"What happened? Who was that?" I asked curiously. He shifted his gaze on me and then heaved a sigh.

"Sorry to ruin the moment, mi amor, but I just couldn't help myself but to get mad. One of my men called and told me that until now, the members of the AHG who got caught alive don't want to talk. Until now, they haven't found any sign of Doctor Baron and JC too." My heart broke again upon hearing that.

Suddenly, I felt like a bucket of cold water poured over my head. I've been trying to be positive these past one week just like Jace told me, but it was getting harder for me to do so with each passing day without any information about my son.

Each day that has passed without any news about JC felt like an eternity. I've been very worried about him that I couldn't even eat and sleep properly at night. But then, I've been trying my best not to drown myself into worry because of my pregnancy.

Even though I don't have appetite to eat, I always force myself to do so for the sake of my unborn child. I thought, everything would be easier now that we finally confirmed that JC was alive but then, it wasn't. The only consolation we have to stay strong and positive is knowing that he's alive somewhere.

This past one week, today was the first time that I felt happy again because I've got the chance to see a glimpse of my baby for the first time.

"I-It's okay. I feel your frustration but don't let the anger rule over you. Just do what you need to do and everything will eventually fall into place soon." A small smile appeared on his lips.

"Thank you for saying that, mi amor. Honestly, I feel like I'm going crazy just thinking that until now, we still don't have any clue where JC is. I've cracked a lot of cases before but why does it seem like this very important case is very hard? I'm getting frustrated of myself because I am having the difficulty saving my own son. I've let him down three years ago by not saving him form those b*stard. Now, I feel like I'm repeating the same mistake again." He admitted with pained smile on his face.

I cupped his face. "Don't lose hope. Just like you've told me before. Stay positive. Don't give up on JC. He's waiting for you so you to save him so don't disappoint him by giving up." He shook his head.

"No. I will never give up on our son, mi amor. Never."

"That's the spirit." He enveloped me into a tight embrace, and I hugged him back. We stayed on that position for a while before we decided to go home.

JACE's POV

I inhaled and exhaled a couple of times before finally knocked on the door. For some reason, my heart was beating fast because of uncertainty and a little bit of nervousness.

I didn't want to come here to ask for his help because it would look like I was incompetent, but I didn't have the choice anymore. This is not the time for me to choose my pride because the life of my own son is in danger. Every second that JC spends with those people is becoming very dangerous for him.

He'd been lucky these past three years because they didn't do anything to him aside from training him to be one of them. He was lucky enough to be alive until now but what about these next few days? Just thinking of the possibility that they might harm him any moment is bringing me indescribable fear.

I swallowed hard when the door finally opened. I thought, it was the maid, but it wasn't. I released a breath and gathered myself together.

"What brings you here, Montejo?" My father-in-law, Robert Lenard, asked without any emotion on his face. I gulped inaudibly.

"I need your help, Mantus." I said bravely. The corner of his lips twitched.

"Help? Are you sure you came to the right person?"

I met his taunting gaze with all the courage I had. "Yes, because you're my last hope. Please, hear me out." He became silent while staring at me for three seconds or so before he turned his back on me.

"Come on in." I slowly released the breath that I didn't know I was holding and did as I was told. I followed him inside. He led the way to his study room.

"Start." He then commanded after he sat on his high backed chair. I remained standing before him.

"I need to find someone and I'm hoping that you could help me." His eyes turned into slits.

"And how sure are you that I will help you? After what I did to you three years ago, you still want my help? What if instead of helping you, I would just take my daughter away from you because from what I can see right now, you are not capable of protecting your own family." My hands balled into fists.

"You can do anything to me, but I will not let you take my wife away from me, Mantus. If I need to fight you for her, so be it. I will give everything I have to fight for her. You know how much I love your daughter and I will never let anything or anyone separate us." I answered through gritted teeth. He scoffed.

"The same arrogant Montejo yet you came here for my help. Fine. I will hear it out for the sake of my daughter. What do you want me to do?" I almost sighed in relief. At least, he's willing to listen.

"For quite sometime now, I've been trying to locate my father's whereabout but until now, I couldn't find any clue of where he could be right now. I need to see him as soon as possible."

He scoffed again as if he was already expecting what I've said. He then pulled the drawer of his table and then took something out. It was a folder.

"Take a look at it." He ordered and handed me the folder. I opened it and my eyes widened upon reading all the information written on it.

"Y-You knew?" I asked in disbelief. All the information about my father was in there including the AHG and Neo.

"Do you really think that I was clueless these entire time about what really happened to my grandson? You're wrong, Montejo. While you were busy drowning with your agony after what happened to JC, I tracked down all the people who was involved in what happened to him.

"The first one that I've found was the Hama Group. But just when I was about to destroy them for killing my grandson, you finally came to your senses and destroyed them to take your revenge. Just like you, I thought that the justice was finally served for JC but a few months ago, I accidentally encountered the remaining few members of Hama Group and discovered that they're nothing but front men of a bigger organization, the Alta Hama Group. Didn't you ask Jinn how he discovered about all that?"

"He said that he caught the second in command of the Hama Group and tortured him so that he would spill the beans." I answered, a little bit confused of what he wanted to say.

"You really are so clueless, Montejo. You were so busy wallowing with your guilt and regret that you couldn't see what was so obvious in front of you. I was the one who caught the second in command of the Hama Group and gave him to Jinn while he caught the other guy."

"Y-You mean, you knew that JC was alive all this time?"

"I just discovered it from those men but they didn't have a clue where he could be right now. I didn't tell you and Tin right away because I didn't want to disappoint my daughter if the information I got was wrong. She would surely get hurt again if JC wasn't really alive. I was planning to just tell you two about it the moment I prove that he's indeed alive. But then, Jinn suggested a plan and I agreed to it." My forehead crinkled.

"What plan was that?"

"He suggested for your return to ET VINDEX."

"You knew about that too? You agreed yet you acted like you were mad of my decision of joining ET VINDEX again because Christine's life might be put in danger again." I couldn't help but say.

"I wasn't mad because of that. I was mad because of how clueless you were with everything that was happening around you. Your focus was on my daughter alone. You didn't even know that your father was the one who's responsible of all these until recently." I gasped in shock.

"You knew about him too yet you didn't tell me about him. Why?" I asked with a hardened face.

"Because I want to see what you're really capable of. Jinn asked you to do this mission because your father is involved in it."

"I don't care about your opinion of me nor about my father. If you really knew about this, why didn't you rescue JC right away? Don't you have any idea how dangerous for him to stay with them? My wife couldn't even eat nor sleep properly because of so much worry ever since we discovered that JC was indeed alive!" I chided as anger began rising within me.

"I was about to do so but then, here you are in front of me, asking for my help. Besides, I'm confident that your father will never hurt JC in any way because he needs him. Now that you finally know everything, show me what you're capable of, six." My jaw clenched.

"I will take my son from him no matter what happens. I don't need to show you what I'm capable of because you already know that. I will do this and don't ever get in my way. I changed my mind. I don't need your help after all." I turned around and was about to walk out of there when he spoke.

"Don't worry, because I will catch you when you fall, princess." My hands balled into fists.

"Just like I've said a while ago; I don't care what you think of me. All I care about right now is my son. I will do anything to get him back even if I need to fight my own father." I then opened the door and exited his house.

I wasn't angry at Mantus for insulting me like that because he was right. When JC died and Christine left me, I was nothing but a useless b*stard. Yes, I took my revenge of what happened to our son, but I messed up when I didn't make sure that I was targeting the main roots of that group. I just managed to take down its branches but not its roots.

All this was my fault because I became careless. If I only knew that JC was alive, things could've been different. But it's useless crying over spilled milk now.

The next day, I began my plan and went to the orphanage of doctor Baron. To my surprise, there was a program going on and the children performed. After that, there were games too. I stayed there and watched the kids while furtively observing around me, trying to see any weird movements from the people around me but everything seemed normal.

Just when I was about to go, I suddenly received a message from doctor Baron which surprised me. I knew it. I was right of coming here after all.
