Jiwon's POV~

After my last class I met back up with Ms. Young and we both waited for the rest of the students to come. To my surprise everyone seemed to come on time. Everyone was already planning their seat partners when Ms. Young told them the news.

"You guys will have to have sign seat partners." Ms. Young shouted out to everyone. There were a lot of boo's but like me some where just fine with it. To be honest some people are probably like me, we don't know anyone yet. Don't get me wrong, we do have already some clicks. But nothing like you see in the movies or dramas.

"Mostly will be girl with girl but since there is more boys then girls, some of you girls will have to sit with boys. When I call out your name, partner, and seat number please go ahead and get on the bus. There are two buses. Bus 'A' will have me on it. And bus 'B' will have Mr. Moon. I will start off with" I listen for what seem like hours as Ms. Young read off names. Some people were fine with it and others didn't so much like their pairs. It wasn't until it came to me.

"Choi Jiwon/ Kang Minjae seat 54 on bus 'B'." Ms. Young pointed to bus 'B' as she went back to reading off names. I started walking towards the bus when I felt a small tap on my shoulder.

"Hi. You must be Jiwon. I'm Minjae." Standing in front of me was a sweet looking guy who wore glasses. He looked very innocent and kind which made me happy. His shaggy brown hair fell slightly above his glasses almost hiding his eyes from me.

"Yes I am. It's nice to meet you." I reached out my hand and was about to shake it when all of a sudden someone came up behind him and slapped in the back of the head. My mouth dropped open as I watched Minjae almost start to cry.

"Damn Minjae. Either I wanted you with me or Jiwon." The guy growled at Minjae as Ms. Young continued reading off names. Who the hell does he think he is?

"Kim Hyunjung/ Lee Minok seat 55 on bus 'B'." Ms. Young went on as the guy beside Minjae smiled.

"Looks like I'm behind you guys. What are the odds?" The guy walked passed us heading onto the bus. I noticed Minjae was starting to look uncomfortable at even though I just met him I wanted him to feel peace. He looks like a scared mouse,

"What's up with him? Why is he such an ass?" I asked Minjae as I watched other students get on the bus as well.

"That's Hyunjung. He's an old high school classmate who for years now has been treating me like shit. It's hard for me to say anything or do anything because he's also my step brother." Minjae looked back at Ms. Young as she was almost done.

Just by looking at this kid I could tell he was tired and miserable.

"Then this whole trip be my friend Minjae. Only me and you will hang out." I flashed him a smile as he looked back at me. Within his eyes I could see two things, pain and pity. For some reason I wanted to help this kid out.

"That sounds nice."

Finding our seats was kind of hard when we're all the way in the back. Students were standing up in our ways making it a little difficult to get by. But once me and Minjae found our seats it wasn't bad. Hyunjung mostly talked with his seat mate as we drove off.

Two hours went by pretty fast making me very happy. I mostly read a book or looked out the window to pass the time. "Ten minutes until we are there. If you have anything on the bus I would advise grabbing it now." Mr. Moon shouted at us all. It's hard because I know a lot of people don't take him serious. Mr. Moon is a very old chubby man and I've heard the things people say behind his back. Saying he is to old and lazy to work here. When really he seems like a nice person.

"Move now." I was so busy staring at Mr. Moon I didn't realize Hyunjung slapped Minjae out the seat beside me. I rolled my eyes as I watch him lick his lips.

Not ever happening boy.

"So Jiwon...can I get your number?" Hyunjung already started pulling out his cellphone making me even more mad. Who do you think you are? You aren't even that good looking to have this ego of yours.

"I don't even know you. And no. I'm not looking to date anyone now." I snapped back rolling my eyes harshly.

"Do you even know what you are turning down. Girls jump at the chance to get with me." He snapped fixing his jacket sleeves. I let out a little laugh pulling my purse closer towards me.

"Then head on back to the mental hospital to get your girl. Because I'm not and never will be her." The bus came to stop making me happy.

"Remember one thing...we are far away from noise. If something would happen to Minjae no one would ever hear." Hyunjung started bumping past everyone making a few whispers escape some peoples lips.

He's not serious is he?

He's threatening me.

Hello once again! I'm about to move out on my own (dorms) and I have been so excited, but now that it's just a few weeks away. I'm also sad. I'm gonna be strong though. 😤 I've got this! Hope everyone has a great day, or if it's night for you, good sleep.
