J'ai fait un redraw ! Certains se souviendront peut-être du dessin "Underwater" que j'ai fait fin 2017 alors que je venais d'entrer en école d'art.

Hi guys! I did a redraw! Some of you may remember a drawing I did at the end of 2017, back when I'd just got into artschool, called "Underwater".

Je prends ce redraw donc comme la représentation de tout ce que j'ai assimilé / appris en école d'art jusque-là. Apparemment c'est principalement "la couleur c'est important et l'anatomie existe". C'est surtout étonnant le résultat de 2017 alors que ce que je visais à l'époque c'était en gros ce que j'ai fait en 2020 xD.

I'm using this redraw as the représentation of everything I've assimilated / learnt in artshool until now. Apparently it's mainly that "colour is important and anatomy is a thing". It's also surprising to see how off I was considering that what I did in 2017, I dis while having a result like what I did in 2020 in mind xD.

Cette fois j'ai fait des tests d'ambiance avant de commencer, j'ai fait mes palettes avant de commencer (et cette fois je me suis tenue à la palette, vous serez peut-être étonnés de savoir qu'il n'y a pas de jaune dans ce dessin). Je suis toujours pas 100% sur le visage mais bon, pas sûre que je puisse faire mieux pour l'instant...

This time I did lighting tests before starting, I did my palettes before starting (and this time I stuck to them, you may be surprised to learn that there is no yellow in the second drawing). I'm still not 100% satisfied with the face but I'm not sure I can do any better for now...

Bref, j'espère que ça vous plaît, moi ça m'a rassurée que j'ai un peu progressé grâce au travail qu'on nous fait faire, c'est cool.

Anyway, I hope you like it, personally it helped me feel better by showing I have gotten better thanks to the work we have to do, that's cool.
