Ash P.O.V

traveling to forks again was not what I thought it would be happening after we left a few years ago , part of me didn't want to go back but the other part was happy to see my brother again, I wanted to stay were our coven had created a peaceful home. Glancing over at Jasper i noticed tension in him. " My love are you alright " i gently asked as i stopped packing while turning to face him completely.  i could feel the anger and worry starting to wrap around us putting me sightly on edge. "i don't have a good feeling about this darlin, whatever happens, if this comes to a fight, we leave promise me" Jasper signed out and he stopped packing as well and sitting on our bed. Humming i stood in-between his legs slowing starting to play with his hair gently. 

" i don't either my love but this is your past coven we're talking about. plus, you are more in control of your thirst there will be no worry" My voice held promise as he looked up meeting my eyes. 

" Yeah, let's see how well they react to our eyes love " jasper said bitterly as we got up pressing his forehead to mine. Right there in this moment it was calm before the storm just him and I well up until the loudmouth ruined it.

" Come on, we fixed to be late!" peter shouted with amusement in his tone 

"That man" i laughed as i pulled away from jasper earning a playful growl. we finished up packing quickly closing our homes door we set off to the fight that laid before us.  

TIME SKIP BROUGHT TO YOU BY PETER KNOWING SHIT

"Peter i swear to God i will set you on fire"  i glared at peter and he finished the last of the human he was draining. 

" You were too slow, and playing with him not fair" Peter wined like a child causing us to all slightly laugh at him. shaking my head i walked back over to jasper who still had a bit of blood on his lips. smiling softly i wiped it away for him earning a small purr from him " Now that's just gross " peter faked gaged as his mate smacked the back of his head for ruining a cute moment for us. This was out last feeding stop in Seattle before we gathered into forks. The closer we got the more nervous i felt my body temp heating up slight making jasper look at me reassuringly. as we got closer, we saw the Cullen's making us all go on edge. jasper took the lead. 

"Carlisle " Jasper greeted the shocked man with a handshake which Carlisle retuned. i wasn't to surprised  with this reaction. I knew coming back with our red eyes would shock everyone not only that but the fact that jasper radiated power now. beside the voltori we were the strongest cover due to our gifts and power. none of us moved from behind jasper we waited for his call because to us jaspers words were law.

"i see you went back to your old ways son " Carlisle gently said. anyone could see the sadness that laid underneath his eyes. 

smirking i shook my head falling next to jasper " We had to. both of our powers require it to be at our full strength to be able to protect each other and keep control. they have developed perfectly now. his powers show no stopping in growth since he started again. " i proudly ranted about jasper to Carlisle i was truly proud of my mate for what he has overcome in the short time that we were away. 

" Well i for one am happy to have you guys back " Emmett shouted as he started walking over to us clapping his hand on jaspers shoulder causing me slightly to growl. Emmett looked over with his eyebrow raised in question, i have never growled at him before. 

"It's their bond, because they have been away from you guys for so long the bonds, they had with you are severed replaced with ours since we became a coven, and no i can't explain it more i just know shit " Peter stepped forwarded slighting glancing at jasper and i looking for our next move. 

"Wait so we're nothing to them, figured from people who never cared " Bellas's voice rang out almost taunting. she stood over by Edward with a child between them.

A snarl erupted from me as i stepped forward my temped started flaring up. smirking i focused on the ground around her creating a small ring of fire enclosing her. Edward growled pulling his child away from her and stepping away himself. her face showing slight fear. "Want to repeat that again " i growled out taking another step forward. 

"Enough" Jasper demanded grabbing my shoulder pulling me gently back to his side. "Edward control your mate before i do it for you" His voice rang out as he glanced at me nodding at me. Rolling my eyes i made the fire go away as i looked around. Most people's faces were of shock others interested that i could control the very thing that was meant to kill us all.  As the coven leaders talked more i was focused on the child. she had the beauty of our kind, but you could hear her heartbeat almost like a hummingbird.

"Ash" I froze at his voice almost not recognizing it. slowly i turned to look at jake. he's definitely grown up, taller than i am now by a lot his brown now cut into a fade his voice deeper. we started at each other for a second before he took off in a run towards me. 

"jake" i whispered as he crashed against me making me slightly stumble back venom filled my eyes as i hugged him back breathing in his scent, woods and vanilla reminding me of home 

"Where the fuck did you go " HIs voice wavering as he was on the verge of tears hugging me tighter like i would disappear again. 

"Little brother we have a lot to talk about " I smiled pulling back slightly while looking up at him. "You've grown so well " I laughed shaking my head god how I've missed you
