Hindi ko alam kung bakit maaga akong gumising ngayong umaga(in short, sadya ko talagang gumising ng maaga ngayon). I took a shower, fed myself a heavy breakfast, dressing up myself with casual pieces, and I even added make up on my face.

I really don't know what's happening with me, pati si Kayla ay nagtataka na rin kung bakit inalagaan ko ang sarili kong mag-isa. Sometimes, the maids will always do the normal things on me dahil utos iyon ng ama ko.

It actually feels weird for me to be treated like that. 

I bid my goodbyes to Manong Kirton and Manang Ade, I also bid goodbye to my best friend Kayla.

Bumuntong hininga ako at nagdadalwang isip kung paano ako kakatok sa pintuan niya. 

Yes, I'm here in front of his door at the household of Yapchengcos. It's been nearly a week since the last time we had a good dinner together. I busied myself on writing the whole missing days with him, and I guess this time it's his naman.

"It's me," I cleared my throat as I pressed the tab beside the smart lock, where it has a microphone and a camera that shows a clip of a person who knocks at his door.

I didn't hear a reply so I called again. "Arthur Valerio Martinez. It's me Alyona,"

"Viens bébé," my eyes widened at what he just replied to me.

Bahagyang napaatras ako sa kinatatayuan ko at napatakip sa aking bibig dahil sa narinig. I can feel my heart jumping inside out of kilig. Naramdaman ko rin na parang bang may humahalukay sa tiyan ko na naghihiyawan sa loob.

"Aly? I said come in," he said in a husky voice, napatanto ako ng magsalita siya ulit at hindi na nagdadalawang isip na buksan ang pinto niya.

Nilibot ng mga mata ko ang buong penthouse niya ng makapasok ako. 

He was not here, and I guess he's in his room kaya umupo muna ako sa sofa and making myself comfortable. I positioned myself in a number 4 style on both of my legs and crossed my arms. Minutes have passed walang Avo na lumabas sa silid.

I rolled my eyes and drew out a deep breath.

Hindi ko na mapigilan ang sarili ko sa kakahintay sa kanya, so ang nangyari ay kumatok ako at bigla na lang pumasok sa loob ng kuwarto niya.

I chuckled the moment I saw him leaning on his side table while looking at me, on the other hand sumimsim siya sa kanyang kapeng hawang gamit ang kaliwang kamay.

So all this time nagkakape lang pala siya sa loob ng room niya kaya hindi makalabas? Pwede niya namang simsimin iyon habang ine-entertain ang bisita ah?

"I waited for 30 minutes," aniya at sumimsim ulit sa kape habang malalim niya akong tinitignan sa mga matang unting-unting nahuhulog sa kanya.

"Likewise, and here you are drinking your coffee at hindi mo man lang ako nilabasan?" Iritang tanong ko sa kanya, dahil sa totoo lang nagsasayang lang ako ng oras sa 'dun sa salas.

"I expected you to come here inside like you always did back then," aniya at nilapag ang mug 'dun sa table.

Pakiramdam ko ay parang may kuryenteng tumama sa buong katawan ko dahil sa sinabi niya. My head ached a little too at sinabayan rin ng hiyawan sa dibdib ko.

"I don't even know what you are saying Arthur. Hindi ako pumunta rito para diyan," umirap ako nagpaligoy-ligoy ng tingin sa buong kuwarto niya. "Okay, as I believe you, Mira." Mariin kong ipinikit ang aking mata at kinuyom ang aking kamao.

"For your information, pinuntahan kita rito para sa deal na pinag-usapan na 'tin 'nung nakaraan." sabi ko at nagalakad patungo sa veranda niya at binuksan ang sliding door para huminga ng sariwang hangin.

"How about the end of us?" kumunot ang noo at hindi ko magawang gumalaw sa kinatatayuan ko, but I can feel him walking and getting near me.

"Aren't we supposed to talk about it? We didn't have any closure Alyona as far as I can remember, we didn't end what's in between us before you even left for this." Nangingining na ang kamay ko sa mga sinabi niya at malalim akong napalunok at tuluyan ng naramadam ang presensya niya sa likod ko at tumabi sa 'kin.

"I don't understand..." he chuckled and cleared his throat. "You left me for more than fucking 5 months without a reason! Pero 'nung nagkita tayo ulit anong ginawa mo? You left me! Iniwan mo ako ng tuluyan Alyona ng walang sabi!" 

My tears streamed down to my cheeks, naramdaman ko na lang ang malambot niyang palad na pinahiran ang pisngi ko. He cupped my face and he looked at me with pity in his eyes.

"Why did you cry? I've been calling you many times pero your mind is somewhere out there and you just suddenly cried. What's the matter?" Mariin kong ipinikit ang mata ko dahil bumalik na sa normal ang mundo ko.

"I'm sorry for making you wait for so long, I expected kasi talaga na papasok ka sa loob." Dagdag pa niya at niyakap ako. "This is just the beggening Aly. I will comfort you even though if you don't find any comfort in me, I would still try my best to save you. You don't have to force yourself to tell me what's the problem but t would be much better if you will and my ears are all open for you." Napangiti ako sa sinabi niya.

"Thank you," a sigh escaped from my verge.

He nodded and continued to sip on his mug of coffee while looking at me. Umupo ako sa swing chair, making myself comfortable here while thinking of plan on how to find my brother's girlfriend.

I am willingly to take responsibility of that, hindi lang sa kapayapaan ng buhay ko kundi para na rin sa pamangkin ko. We share the same blood, and must be treated as one of my family.

My phone rang, I immediately took my phone out of my bag. My brows furrowed right away when I received an email from the former President of VS, mas lalo akong nagtaka kung bakit magkasabay silang nag send ni Nero.

This email is protected under the district of Nikolas Plaza, and Luna Tuazon. To also inform you that you will be backed up under the district Commander of Bogata 6 since our target mission is one of her people.

We will do all of our best to protect you from your Father. We wouldn't just let them take you like that because in the first place you don't deserve it and none of VS members are deserving to be forced on things they don't want to do. I have not been officially dismissed as the President, perhaps I'm securing the safety of my fellow people and their freedom.

The last mission that will be given to you under my leadership is very simple, you don't have to follow your father anymore. Stop allowing him to provoke you just to do things, in return you're allowed to leave the gang but the contract remains what it says that you'll still be protected and can go back anytime.

And the main point here is to be yourself. Learn to know yourself more because you're more than that, learn to love yourself more, and be patient with Aly, Alyona. Live your life and forgot everything. Don't mind any rumors about you and don't let them affect you that easily because they don't know you.

I've already sued them and they've taken down everything. I hope you can successfully succeed in this mission.

Don't even think of harming yourself. Don't cut yourself. Don't overdose yourself. Don't suffer a lot when you can be at peace instead.

I found myself smiling while reading his email. I suddenly felt like someone just touch my heart with that solace. It was good honestly, he picked the right words to tell and it was all I need. He was more than a friend to me, we almost date pa 'nga eh.

But we both decided to stay as friends. Maybe in another lifetime, we could have been a good couple.

Pero si Avo pa rin ang hanap ko kahit paano. I would beg to if needed just to have him in different universe. He was the source of my hope.

"I received an email from your brother, I bet he has also sent you one. Nabangit niya kasi sa email na sinend niya sa 'kin," napatanto ako nag magsalita siya.

He was not drinking his coffee anymore, but his attention was on the bodyguards who were looking at us with high-end gear. I can see some snipers roaming their eyes everywhere. I notice that the Yapchengco has the best security for everyone, but can't even protect themselves from getting shot.

"Can you read it for me?" I asked like a kid, he looked at me and was trying to say something but ended up not releasing it and just nodded.

He took out his phone and he looked at me before he began reading what it says.

"Can I read it not so formally?" my brows furrowed and tried to understand what he was saying. "In short, can't I just read the facts and the most important things? Ang weird kasi ng email niya sa 'kin, ang daming saw-saw na salita na wala namang konek."

I laughed at what he just told me. Iniripan niya lang ako at nagiwas ng tingin. 

And then he told me everything that the email says.

The main reason why I decided to note this story it's because I need to clarify some things that are needed to be discussed, especially to those readers who have not read the 'between us' series yet; kasi 'dun galing ang VS (vaisseaux sanguins).

If you read it first before this, you'll understand what they are saying. This mainly focuses on her own story, VS is just essential here. Also, there is so problem with reading this before the series para magka-ideya kayo kung anong meron sa VS.
