Chapter 4

Frankie

"Frankie please!" Jesy pleaded continuously, but I shook my head for the 500th time.

"For the last time,no. Party's are not my thing. I just don't like the idea of going to someone who I don't know's house, without knowing if its safe or dangerous or-" I replied but was cut off by Jade.

"It's Mike. No one ever misses a 'Mike on the roof' party. His party's are amazing!"

"No one ever misses a what?" I asked.

"Mike on the roof. The name came about because Mike, the host, got extremely wasted one night at his party and run to his rooftop and stripped to his boxers. And jumped down and landed on a police officer. He's got that name ever since." Jesy explained, laughing through out.

"Come on. What would you rather do on a Friday night. This is a back to school theme as well! Mike throws the best parties, apart from Harry Styles of course, but still, everyone will be there!" Perrie joined.

"Who's Harry Styles, and I would rather spend my Friday night listening to some music, reading, watching a movie, I don't know! Anything I might not get in trouble for." I replied.

"First off, if you don't know who Harry Styles is then through your short time being here, you haven't gotten around town, like at all. And, if you come to the party, I promise it will be a great amount of fun. Trust me. I felt the same way too, but I grew on to like it." Jade added again.

I listened to Jade's words, sighing. It's not that I'm not a party person, I just don't like the though of drunk guys who have no control of their actions, doing whatever they please. I just don't want to get caught up in that stuff again.

But then again. This could be a whole new experience for me. How can I let go of the past if I'm still worried about living in it.

"Okay, fine." I agreed, after thinking it through.

"Are you serious?!" Leigh exclaimed in excitement.

"Please don't shout, and yeah, I'm serious. One party won't hurt right?" I replied

"Thank you. Thank you! Everyone be ready by 8." Perrie said with a huge smile.

"Alright. I'l see you in a bit." I waved, and when they waved back, I turned off the conference call.

I sighed and looked at the time.

7:03pm. It read, and I stood up and walked to my closet.

Sacari and I are meant to go shopping tomorrow this weekend for things I could use to decorate my room. So for now, it was still a plain room, yet to be fixed.

I looked through my various items and found a cute pair of light blue ripped jeans, which I paired with a plain white tank top and a red and blue tank top.

I settled on some simple makeup, just mascara, eyeliner and a little bit of concealer and blush and to finish the look, dark pink lip stick.

When I was done with the makeup, I let my hair out of its bun and messily ruffled it a bit. I can't really do anything with my hair to be honest, due to how thick curly it is, so if I don't tie it, I leave it out. Unless I get it done in a salon, then that's a whole other story.

I put on my shoes which were a pair of white Nike Air forces, then I was done.

Taking out my phone from its place in the charger, I put it in my back pocket, and switched off the lights, closing the door to my room behind me.

When I arrived at the bottom of the stairs, I saw Sacari sitting with her feet up on the table, seeming very interested in her movie, though when I came downstairs, her attention diverted to me.

"You look nice, are you going somewhere?" She asked.

"Yeah I am, my friends invited me to this back to school party, so that's my plans for the night." I said, taking a seat next to her.

"That sounds like fun, but should I give you the 'don't get drunk talk' or do you already know?" She chuckled.

"I already know. Don't worry I'll be careful" I laughed.

We laughed for a little bit longer until, her expression suddenly dropped into a serious one.

"I'm serious, over here, loads of kids your age start bad habits and do bad things, get into the wrong groups, I don't want you to be a part of that." he told me seriously, taking my hand.

"I won't. Trust me, I don't want to get into that kind of stuff anymore." I re-assured.

"Okay. I trust you." She said, bringing me in for a hug, which I gladly returned.

"I love you." I mumbled into her sweater.

"I love you too." She said back.

Much too soon, our hug was broken to the sound of the doorbell  ringing.

"Have fun!" Sacari said, kissing my forehead.

"Thanks you too, with whatever." I laughed, and ran towards the door.

Opening it, I was met with the eyes of the three girls I had grown attached to, in just the spam of a  week.

"Ready?"

Alcohol.

Lots and lots of it.

The stench of alcohol immediately  hit me a I walked into the room. There were lights hung all across the room, and people filled every space. Which is a shock considering how massive the house looked on the outside. Maybe it actually is, but there's just too many people. But overall, it looked like a club in here.

I won't lie, now I was starting to regret coming here. I knew I shouldn't have let them talk me into this.

"Do you want a drink?" Perrie asked turning to face us.

"Not really in a drinking mood." I admitted, putting my hands in my pockets awkwardly.

"Oh come on! First party, first drink. Please." Perrie added.

Before I knew it, we were walking towards the bar, well, more like the stand where the alcohol sat.

"Are you a light weight?" Jade asked.

"I don't know, I don't really drink." I admitted yet again, thanking the dimness off the room otherwise the red on my cheeks would be visible.

"Never? Oh wow, okay tonight you're going to have at least for drinks. You have to let loose and leave away the worries." She encouraged.

Yet again, Jade had made me do comply to something to outside my comfort zone.

"Fine, but a cocktail. That's it." I agreed yet again.

"Yay!" Jade clapped.   "Guys, she wants a drink now."

I watched as Perrie ordered in drinks for each one of us. She whispered something into the bartender's ear, before he gave her a thumbs up and started making another drink.

A few minutes passed, before finally, my  drink was ready. I thanked the man behind the stand, and took a little sip out of my straw. The taste was quite bitter, but the fruity taste left me wanting more.

I started taking in the cold drink in big gulps, I just couldn't get enough of it. What I didn't notice was the realization that as I kept drinking, I was slowly slipping out of my sober mind.

"Can I have another?" I asked, slamming the empty glass on the table.

Jade patted my back, whilst Leigh-Anne and Jesy laughed, and Perrie smirked slyly at the bartender.

Drink after drink I felt my body relax and let out odd dances. I haven't felt this free in a long time.

Soon, Leigh was swept of by a blonde guy, Jade and I were left dancing stupidly, Jesy was no where to be found and Perrie, well, Perrie's Perrie. She went to the middle of the room and started dancing with a few boys.

"One more?" Jade asked, referring to our drinks.

"Lets get something stronger!" I said excitedly.

"Two vodka shots please!" Jade yelled to the bartender.

Then one turned into two, two turned into three, three turned into 5, and on and on.

And then, then and there, I knew I was fucked.

"Okay, my turn, Perrie truth or dare, " Mike asked Perrie.

"Truth"

A few 'boo's' sounded in the room, even I boo'ed as well. But Perrie just shrugged.

"Boring. Would you ever prostitute for fun?" Mike asked.

At this point in time, I had had too many drinks and my plaid shirt was somewhere in the house, my eye makeup was slightly smudged, but I was laughing like nobody's business. So this is what being a teenager feels like. A couple of us decided to gather in the backyard and play truth or dare. By a couple, I mean at least 26.

"I don't know, I would if it ever came down to it." Perrie replied.

Mike nodded as an acceptable answer, and Perrie asked.

"Jade, truth or dare?"

"Dare." replied the girl on my right.

"I dare you to, run to Ms. Roland's house next door and ask her to come and help you because you can here your mum screaming in your parents bedroom." Perrie said, after thinking for a while, and I couldn't help but laugh.

"Easy, but are all of you coming, we can't all squeeze." Jade replied.

"No, um... Bradley go with her." Perrie said, pointing to some random guy.

As they scurried out the door, Perrie said.

"I'll take her turn again until she gets back."

Everyone agreed, and Perrie went again.

"Frankie, truth or dare." she smirked.

Shit, there's no wrong or right answer here. Back out. Back out!

Is what my brain told me.

Everything else, rolled over giggling, and said.

"Dare."

"I dare you to close your eyes, walk around and point your hand, then make out with the person."

At a sober state of mind, I would have protested. But I'm not sober.

I stood up and stumbled around, giggling with my eyes closed. But of course, clumsy me, tripped over my own feet and landed on someone. A few gasps went around, but people kept yelling  'KISS KISS KISS' over and over, and of course my body complied and before I knew it I was making out with a complete stranger, eyes still tightly closed.

After a little while, I got up and squinted my eyes a little, ignoring the cheers that went round.

All I know and will remember is the boy's black hair, and intriguing brown eyes.
