DIVERSITY . . .
— Your ocs need to be diverse! Make males, enbys, poc characters! I don't just want to write about the same people: I want as many different characters as possible, so don't be afraid to be diverse with your ocs personalities as well!

BEHAVIOUR . . .
— Hating on other people's ocs means a permanent ban from my account, absolutely no exceptions. The character is separate from the person who made them, and yes some characters may be assholes - but that doesn't mean in any circumstances that hate should be spread.

FACECLAIMS . . .
— Your faceclaims must be of the matching age range you are applying for ( 17-18 )! In other words, please don't apply with like Scarlett Johansson or something because I won't let you in. Also no problematic celebs please ( ask if unsure if your fc is problematic or not ), but you are allowed to use influencers so long as I am able to find good pictures of them to use for moodboards and such!

APPLICATIONS . . .
— When i am looking for applications to admit, I am looking for creative, detailed forms, with diverse and unique characters. If you are more detailed in your form, there is a much higher chance you'll get in

— As of right now, i don't know how many slots will be available ( as many as i choose at the time ) and its an oc x oc fic. I am not reserving any slots for this fic, so if you are my wp mutual / friend and you don't get admitted, please don't gaslight me!

SPECIFICS . . .
— Marylewood is a rural area located in North Dakota in the United States, with just under 4000 people. The town itself is quite small with not many 'big company names'; they don't have a large chain store but rather a small grocery shop in the centre of town, and all of the coffee shops & restaurants are unbranded and mainly family owned businesses. Not many people choose to visit year round due to the remoteness of the area and the lack of touristic attractions.

— The friend group this book is revolving around will most likely consist of 5-8 people, including my ocs — I plan to potentially also include another friend group which joins with the main one to help find Bea and uncover who 'B' is. BEATRIZ is the 'founder' of the friend group, and the queen bee, essentially. MICAH was found along the way, as well as the rest of them.

MBTI Type — ENFJ

Personality — Beatriz is, in simple terms, a bit of a bitch. With her picture perfect smile and delicate outer appearance, at first glance many people don't see the girl as being anything short of a sweetheart, though they are sorely mistaken. The words leaving Beatriz's mouth are often like knives: sharp and aimed to hurt. She's long since learned the art of insults, and while she isn't the smartest academically, Bea is very quick on her feet, and can think of the perfect insult in under ten seconds, easily. She's narcissistic and vain, and her diamanté covered compact mirror is essentially her best friend; Bea is an attention seeker and loves to be in the spotlight, with all eyes on her, all amazed by her.

And so yes, it's very easy to assume that Beatriz Delores is just a bitch, and that's it. Yet the girl is a complex individual, with many layers to her. Her need to be in the spotlight is ultimately down to the neglect she's had all her life from her mother; Bea longs to be noticed by someone because she never had anyone at home looking at her. Beatriz may be rude to those she isn't comfortable with, but once you're in her inner circle, Bea can be somewhat sweet [ stress on the word somewhat, because in all honesty she isn't exactly the nicest person ever ], and she provides unwavering support; she's loyal to a fault, and would do anything for her friends.

Backstory — Rosalia believed she was put on the Earth to be a mother. And so, at the age of eighteen, she became pregnant with her high school boyfriend's baby, and she kept it, though at a price. Terrified of the commitment he'd have to make, her boyfriend left her, and to this day Beatriz still has no clue as to who he is, as her mother never told her.

For someone who believed they were made to be a mother, Rosalia was a shitty parent. She was lustful and irresponsible, and often neglected her daughter for her own pursuits, not caring about her young child. From a young age, Beatriz came to realise that in order to stay alive, she was going to have to gain some level of responsibility, and so she did. She learnt how to provide for herself with the limited income her mother brought in, and she carried herself as though she was worth a million bucks, as to not give anyone a reason to pick on her. Bea managed to gain her 'Queen Bee' status pretty early on into high school, and she's only maintained it since.

Family Details && Dynamics — Rosalia Delores ; Mother, Aged 35, Grocer. Beatriz and her mother have never been too close; perhaps when Bea was two or three they had a healthy relationship, but then Rosalia chose hook ups and parties over her own daughter, and any relationship they had vanished. Beatriz can tell her mother is constantly disappointed in her for whatever reason, and it deeply pains the girl, though she hates to admit it. [ 0.5/10 ]

Though Bea has a strong dislike for many (many) people, she just can't find it in her to hate Micah, who she feels is like an older brother to her. He taught her how to skate, how to do shots, etc. She appreciates him very much (though she'd never openly admit that to him).

Personality — Micah is pretty much the perfect example of the perfect child. With his [ somewhat ] perfect grades, musical abilities and extroverted nature, he's everything anyone should typically want in a son. He's bubbly and outgoing, and can talk for days about meaningless subjects without losing his enthusiasm. Micah has a certain zest for life that isn't easily found in people; he takes each day as it comes, and always [ tries ] to look on the bright side of life. His passionate yet welcoming nature tends to put most people at ease, providing them with a certain comfort that many struggle to provide.

Yet Micah also has his flaws: his anger being one of them. It seems that countless anger management sessions can't fully rid his 'rage issues', and he still finds himself with bruised knuckles from the amount of times he's punched into his [ already damaged ] bedroom wall. He is trying to get better, but his emotions are often too powerful for him to contain, per se. He's also a very insecure and guarded person, and he's absolutely convinced that letting more people into his life is more hassle than it's worth. He desperately wants to be loved, but he's scared of being hurt.

Backstory — Micah didn't grow up very rich, but for what his family lacked in money they made up for in love. His parents were high school sweethearts, and originally from New York, though they moved to Marylewood to start a new life together, and they had two children: Micah and Theodora.

The family have always been tight-knight, especially due to the running of the family mechanic: Xavier Repairs. Micah and his sister both work there on the weekends and their days off of school, while his father and mother work there throughout the week. All in all, Micah is happy that his family are all so close, though as of recently Thea has been rather isolated from the rest of them, something which he has grown suspicious of.

Family Details && Dynamics — Lionel Xavier ; Father, Aged 43, Mechanic. Micah has always been close to his father, who has taught him pretty much everything he knows. His father is a very wise man, and Micah looks up to him more than he'd care to admit. [ 9/10 ]

Pauline Xavier ; Mother, Aged 43, Mechanic. Similar to that of his father, Micah is in awe of his mother, who has taught him to never judge a book by its cover; Pauline may look quite frail and weak, but she can pack a punch, that's for sure. Micah thinks his mother is very inspiring. [ 10/10 ]

Theodora Xavier ; Younger Sister, Aged 16, Student. Micah and Thea are very close, especially since the age gap between them is only two years.
